Very centrally located. Check in was easy and I got all the information needed for my stay. Will recommend this hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Room is a bit small, but has everything you need.

This hotel should be advertised as a "basic level discount" hotel. The photos shown on Hotels.com are misleading -- they are very out-of-date and the amenities are exaggerated.
We experienced a power outage, a water outage, and 3 days of ant infestation during our stay.

I was very surprised that this hotel is listed as a Boutique Hotel. There was nothing “Boutique” about it. The staff was mostly not friendly from the moment I arrived. Although I was told in advance I can store my luggage, they don’t have a luggage hold. There were stains on the the blankets (although the sheets & cover were clean) that shone through the covers. When the fuse for the Aircon blew, the receptionist implied I was to stupid to work the AC (still after 4 days), before finding the issue…no apology.
Complaining to Expedia did nothing. Only to get confronted by the receptionist as to why I’d call my travel agency as for him, replacing a stained blanket with another stained blanket “solved the matter” and telling Expedia that they don’t even have a storage hold. The cleaning staff consistently complained during the change of linen, insisting he doesn’t see any stains.
I felt very uncomfortable throughout the stay, sleeping in that bed, trying to avoid the staff etc. I am very disappointed in that stay and especially in Expedia as I am used to better standards and customer satisfying problem solving. There was, however, no resolution whatsoever.
The rooms are also not sound proof.
The breakfast was good as it was at a cafe on the next corner, as opposed to the hotel itself.
Location of the “hotel” was good.

Petite clean room, good breakfast voucher given, no parking provided as street is under construction. Close to beach, shopping and dining options.

Extremely basic. Very small window. Good location , and very nice welcoming

Only good thing about the hotel is the position as it’s so close to the beach and central to everything. The room was not in good condition especially the bath/shower. No mattress protector so managed to get a 2nd sheet for the bed, some stains on the sheets and pillowcases, wallpaper coming off wall . Back garden in a state and needs a good clean and not advisable to go in there unless you want to be bitten to pieces by insects. Website says tea/coffee facilities in room , there are none, only in the reception area. Had to ask for shower gel as none in the room and only 2 towels, no hand towel or bath mat. Would I stay again, no thanks, place needs refurbishing big time.

Very nice gentleman helped us check in. However the property is hard to find, though VERY communicative with email before arrival! Probably because it’s Hard to find due to road construction, however past that, it’s a cute little step-up from a hostel style hotel. Good for a night of two before or after a flight. Near enough to the beach. Very tiny rooms though.

Very near to wonderful beach and night life, but old and at the Limit of usability. Small room, not so confortable bed.

I requested a refund! I am sending pictures. One of the guests has allergies and the place was dirty and full of mold they left two minutes after they checked in

Bath was disgusting, look like it hadn’t been cleaned. Hotel is in need of complete refurb, looking very tired. Good location in the centre of Tel Aviv but that’s about it. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Nice and quiet hotel

The location is perfect, and the staff super friendly
Unfortunately the hotel is in desperate need of renovation
Aside from this point of needing renovating, this place is fantastic

This hotel was cheap in every aspect of our stay.
It’s a small boutique hotel ran by the owner who has no idea what service Industry is like. The check is process was unpleasant and complicated. He wanted to break my three day stay between two rooms. After I refused to move he found a way to not make me move.
They have a coffee machine in the lobby which you are not allowed to use, however there are no signs so you’ll be yelled for making yourself a cup of coffee after a long trip.
The hotel was very basic and rundown. The room was tiny and without a window that can be opened. It’s semi clean and had a lot of signs of wear and tear. The bathroom looked like it was done by someone watching DIY videos.
DO NOT buy breakfast!!!! It’s a total rip off. They serve it at a different property and it’s basically toast of bread, jam and butter and yogurts full of sugar. Cheap coffee with milk just adds up to the whole picture. We only went there once.
The garden is basically a designated for smoking area with plastic plants hanging around it.
On the bright side it’s close to the beach and relatively inexpensive.

HOTEL PROBLEMS
View—city view promised, there was NO view. Frosted glass with slats and bars that faced a solid brick wall in a narrow alley.
Mold all over bathroom and it made the whole room smell bad
Ceiling—open grate through which a person could see into our room
Only half a headboard for one of the beds
Dirty—whole time, the whole room.
Comforter was dirty
No housekeeping, beds never made or changed
Never changed dirty sandy hand towel we left in the bathroom. We had no hand towel for most of our stay.
No robes (promised on web site)
No “comfort bed”
No premium bedding
No down duvet
Beds were VERY narrow. Not twin size. Tiny beds.
Toiletries already partially used. They wee NOT designer toiletries. Cheap and used.
No hand soap.
Breakfast—3 block walk, nowhere to sit and eat, breakfast was literally a loaf of grocery store bread in a plastic bag, a toaster, and instant coffee.
Size of the bathroom sink too tiny to keep from getting water on floor.
Shower spilled a lot of water onto the floor. Shower ran hot and cold. Did not maintain temperature. One night no hot water at all.
Housekeeping—Never swept room.

On arrival had to wait for receptionist to finish watching a segment of TV show before he showed any interest of our arrival. Tiny lobby with little room for 3 suitcases and 2 guests. Grossly crowed and grubby armchair in which receptionist was sitting in.Despite prior confirmation of the room from Expedia, and from the hotel directly, upon arrival discovered hotel had booked another guest in the reserved room - because of similar first name! No apology made, receptionist was inefficient - we had to assist him in finding our booking on HIS computer!! Also, very boorish in attitude, rude and totally unresponsive to our dilemma. Eventually we were offered a room in a sister hotel - Montefiore 16 - across town for one night with the promise of resolution the next day. Accepted the offer - it was getting on for 10.00 pm - but, after our experience we did not return to the Central Hotel. Had to pay an additional US$504 for the privilege at the Montefiore 16, for having our booking messed up and to avoid the unpleasantness of the previous night at the Central Hotel!Cannot imagine how Expedia could possibly have classed these premises as a Boutique Hotel.

Just around the corner from the beach, you would be hard to find such a location any cheaper. The rooms and courtyard have seen better days, but they served their function. You really cant fault the staff. They were so, so helpful and were able to answer all of our questions. Overall a good base to explore Tel Aviv if you dont want to spend the earth.

Bathroom tiles are dirty and there is a cockroach in the foot of my bed. Toilet bowl cannot be used properly and there is no space for a person to sit on it. Rooms are not cleaned everyday.

Definitely a nice and comfortable stay here at this hotel. Friendly staff with good recommendations around the hotel and comes with free breakfast buffet. Room was big with a balcony that overlooked the city. Only stayed here one night as a layover.

Dont even thing that this hotel will turn out not bad for the price. Rooms are tiny, bathrooms are so small that even a 9 year old would feel tight in it.Then the noise....omg worst experience. All night long coming from the lobby like if they were in your room. Then at 8am, the hammer and saw started from conatructors just meters away from our window.Slept exactly 3 hours the whole night.
