It says only 5 star hotel in Pokhara but limited hot water shower and lack of other facilities like jacuzzi and all. It doesn’t meet the standard of a 5 star hotel. Staffs were polite & friendly though.

The entire experience perfect. Beautiful courtyard, rooms and facilities. Nice breakfast. Shuttle included. Attentive staff. Will return for sure

Good size hotel in the area. Claim to be the only 5 star hotel in town. The amenities however don't reflect the same. No lockers in room, breakfast menu is very basic and does not cater for international travellers. Different internet networks in different parts of the hotel, and they keep disconnecting every now and then. My room had AC not working. Got changed to a bigger room, which was so smelly as if it was not in use for years. You can feel broken floor tiles under the carpets. Staff is great, however. They try to help you as much as they can, but the hotel owners need to invest in improving some of the basic facilities.

Property is beautiful. Room was good but bathroom was little dated but clean. It is a grand hotel

The hotel is like an oasis in the middle of a busy town. The service was great and the grounds were lovely. There is a lot of construction going on outside of the compound at this time so not a very walkable area but for a restful stay this was a lovely hotel.

Not really a 5 star hotel, albeit not the worse in Pokhara. Great view on the Annapurna. Comfort is decent, staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is basic.

The Pokhara Grande was a pocket of luxury in Nepal. Staff were friendly and very helpful, the room was lovely with mountain and garden views, food was nice. A Nepali massage was really good. Alas they were not geared up to do the pedicure they advertised but graciously did not charge for this. Would recommend this hotel

Very clean, no bugs in room. Powerful hot shower made us relaxed after trekking.
It’s little bit far from hotel to lakeside, but Himalayan view is so beautiful.
We used driver to the lakeside but price is unclear, and driver charged us extra cost.
Tour desk lady supported us kindly to build trekking course and schedule.

Overall clean and nice hotel. Bed sheets have stains, cracks every here and there in bathroom etc. Plates in restaurant are all dirty (mostly oil/grease left on all plates as if no soap was used)

I booked this hotel because it said that it had a business center and a pool. Well the business center wasnt available, they said they were having issues with the computers, which I doubt they ever had a working center, wi-fi was ridiculous. And their pool was only open until 7 p.m., we didnt even arrive until 8 p.m., only had one night, so that wasnt available to us either. But the biggest complaint was that hot running showers are only available until 10 p.m., so if you hadnt showered by then, you couldnt until the next morning. Ridiculous!! The buffet was way over priced for the variety and quality to food that was available. It certainly looked a lot better than the amenities allowed.

This is really the worse 5-star hotel I have ever stayed in! Wifi in the room is very slow and not working properly. I had to call the hotel twice on my first day already to get different user name and pass codes for my wifi, which is just ridiculous considering that this is supposed to be a 5-stars hotel. The service is slow. For lunch I ordered cappuccino in the hotel restaurant and it took them 25 mins to get it plus me asking for it two times already! And there were not even many guests in the restaurant. Don't really understand why it took these people so long to just get me the coffee. The machines in the gym are old and poorly maintained.

We were 4 friends trekking annapurna circuit and were looking for a good place to stay in Pokhara after the trek. This hotel was exactly what we were looking for - good food, clean rooms, great spa and very nice staff. The hotel also has a person responsible for taxis, airport shuttles and he also arranged us plain tickets to Kathmandu and all that without leaving the hotel. The only drawback is that the sauna and jacuzzi were under maintenance and we were unable to use them.
Great stay overall.

Its very Good Hotel. Everything is Very Good. Only one thing is very bad that don't have any Rain Shade from our Building to Resturant or Main Building. It was hevily rain and we came to our Room by Hotel Umberala. But my shoes was under water and wet.

Prefect place to prepare for your trek and relax afterwards. Wonderful staff. My friend had to stop me from kissing the lobby when we arrived after our trek.

I liked the stay at Hotel Grande. Service was very good. Comfortable rooms. I got two rooms in new building with mountain view and it was awesome. Only problem I found was there was no lift and we had to take stairs to second floor. For indians there are limited options in buffet lunch/dinner so we preferred to eat out.

A worthful experience in short with very hospitable and friendly people. A lot to do but unfortunately I had a very less time on hand.
