My boyfriend and I had planned to stay at the hotel for four days. However, we encountered several issues. The receptionist seemed annoyed during check-in, and once in the room, we found that the air conditioning and TV were not working correctly. Moreover, the room was infested with bugs, including large ones in the toilet and one falling onto my boyfriend's head from the old ceiling. The hotel's location on top of a nightclub playing loud 90's music was also aggravating (forget about sleeping at night). Adding to all this, the bed sheets were filthy and had bedbugs. We decided to leave after only 8 hours and move to a 5-star hotel outside the old town, costing us 800 euros and a vacation day. Although a staff member at the reception expressed understanding and said he would see what he could do, we did not receive any refunds. It was a terrible experience, and I strongly advise against booking this hotel. I recommend the Hyatt or the Huma Bay if you are looking for alternatives.

This was a darling hotel room right in the heart of the old city. Our room was built on the side of a stone wall and was very spacious with a separate living room area. The staff were very friendly and check in/out was a breeze.

As travelled to Kotor by bus from Dubrovnik I planned to get a taxi for taking our luggage to this Hotel but none of the taxis at the bus station would take us on this trip and said to walk. This was difficult with 3 suitcases but soon saw that there were no roads in the OLD Town for any motor vehicle. Passage ways about 2 m wide! Took about 30 min to find Hotel.
Hotel noisy with music and talking to about 1 am each night. Dinner and breakfasts OK for the price. Room was AC but shower was strange - no shelf for soap, shampoo while holding shower head !
Staff indicated they would help with luggage back to bus station 2 days later but that did not happen. So not a pleasant memory of 2 days and nights at this Hotel.

Wonderful staff and great service.

We were told we’d get early check in and a different room due to sound, but upon check in they took back their word. The rooms are dark, the staff are unhelpful and it’s in an incredibly loud part of old town.

Wouldn’t recommend. Unfriendly staff. Very noisy until 2am and tables moving on the rooftop at 6am.

If sleep is important to you, this is NOT the hotel to stay at. The hotel itself is great, charming, the reality is it is next door to effectively a nightclub. The music goes on till approx 1.30am, EVERY NIGHT and it doesn't matter what floor of the hotel you are on, it's unavoidable. Do not stay on the first floor at any cost, you will not sleep. Otherwise, breakfast and the rooftop are both great.

Incredible location. Wonderful staff! In the midst of the fortified old city!

Spectacular hotel , amazing experience and exceptional service.

Beautiful place! Very clean and very unique. The location is great! It’s close to everything (shopping, hiking, sightseeing, food market, beach. The club next to the hotel was too noisy every night until midnight. If you like to party you would like that.

Hotel is in the heart of Old Town. Given the area it’s in, it’s an old building that has been updated.
Staff were great, they even accommodated a last minute early check in

Hotel and staff were great, but unfortunately a pub is located directly outside the hotel and plays loud music until the early hours. There is also a second outside club bar to the rear of the property, which also plays music to the early hours. The hotel staff were great and gave us ear plugs, which was great, but not really what we were expecting.

Nice hotel in the middle of Kotor's old town. Very helpful staff (got a lot of good tips and upgraded to a nicer room). Tasty local breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel is located in the very noisy area, a lot of night clubs and pubs located just outside the hotel so it is noisy during the night (until 1am or even longer). The hotel provided us earplugs so after the first bad night, other nights were more comfy.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The place was charming and very spacious.

An excellent breakfast served by attentive staff was served daily, but the property seemed a little run down. The location of the property was centered in Old Town so it was convenient to activities, but the partying went on all night making sleep difficult.

Wonderful hotel, beautiful design and very friendly staff.
Breakfast is top notch, as is the restaurant for dinner, and they looked after us and our toddler very well. Would reccommend.

Lovely boutique hotel in a very convenient location in the heart of the old town of Kotor. The staff were very nice and the rooms and breakfast lovely.
Our room was very noisy though - one side of the hotel is directly next to a very noisy bar. The other downside was a bathroom door that didn’t shut properly or lock. Not sure why they think this is a positive thing?!

Great stay, would definitely stay again. One comment though, our room was directly above a very lively space below, which had loud music deep into the night. Didn't bother us to much, but could be an issue to some.

If I could give the hotel 10 stars, I would. It was a beautiful boutique hotel right in the heart of the old town. The room was quirky and just beautiful. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Probably one of the best that I have stayed at.

This is a tough review to write, because the property was complicated. It is within the old walled city (awesome) so was a little challenging to find (addresses are unusual, and parking was difficult). The staff were so friendly and helpful (awesome) but there was no hot water during our stay (not awesome) and the bar across the street/alleyway was really loud until 2am. Really loud, as in impossible to sleep. Not the hotel's fault, but be aware. And the hotel doesn't appear to be finished yet, as there were no numbers on the rooms on our floor, and evidence of construction underway on other floors. So overall, really great potential but check before you stay.

10/10 AA best hotel of our entire trip! Right in old town and extremely clean and high end finishings. Building has old town feel and the staff are just amazing!

Everything from when we walked in to when we left was wonderful. Front desk staff is fantastic, always ready to offer suggestions on where to go and what to see. The breakfast was great, fresh corn muffins, homemade jams, crapes and eggs made to order any way you want them. Coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. I was really surprised. Rooms are nice and air conditioned. Location is great, right in the centre of old town Kotor. They also have a rooftop restaurant, great place to sit after a long day and have a snack/drink. I have nothing but wonderful things about this location. Thank you!

We enjoyed our one-night stay with our family in 2 rooms. Wonderful breakfast and drinks on roof. Very helpful staff with reservations for dinner and driver to airport. If back in Kotor old town, will definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Great location in Old Town with all the main sights within walking distance. Room was spacious and in great condition.
Staff was very attentive and made you fill very welcome, providing tips for hidding gems.
Absolutely delicious breakfast!

Well designed and interesting property within an excellent location in the old town. Excellent, friendly service from all the staff. Disappointed that the roof terrace was not open as was part of the reason for choosing the hotel. It was even advertised in the lobby of the hotel. But, wonderful that a pick up, free of charge, was offered from Tivat airport

Awesome suite with 2 bathrooms! Reception staff super friendly and knowledgeable about Kotor and all the sights. Hotel location in the middle of old town was one reason we selected this hotel and even though parking (like all hotels in old town) is outside of city walls it was not terribly difficult walking the 5-10 mins to the hotel. We love the hotel so much that we’ve decided to book a 2nd night.

Amazing hotel with incredible staff trying their best to make their customers happy. Special thank and appreciation to Mr. Ranco who was serving me breakfast every morning. So hospitable, friendly, and a main reason to make my day starts in a good way. The breakfast he was serving was so fresh, trying to let me try different local dishes every morning. The location of the hotel is amazing in the center of the old city. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Kotor.

What a gem!!
I was very surprised of this small hotel in the middle of the Old Town in Kotor.
Yes, it was a bit tricky to find, but what a place!
Absolutely excellent service, regardless of the small size of the hotel. They only have 10-12 rooms, but their service was outstanding and the breakfast delicious.
Rooms very decorated in both modern and old style, and very attractive.
Beds were comfortable and the TV had too many channels to even be able to watch a small portion of.
Internet was a bit unstable, but worked mostly ok.
All around the place there are shops, restaurants, cultural events, and so on. You are truly in the midst of everything.
There is no parking or cars allowed inside the Old Town, so you need to find a parking space outside (which could be tricky and expensive).
I stay around 150 hotel nights every year, and this is right in the top ten of those!
Highly recommended.

Service staff were friendly, attentive and responsive. Breakfast was good and worth every single cent.
However, the bathroom was poorly designed. You will need to be approximately 1.7m (height) in order to check yourself in the mirror. Also, the bathroom will be flooded after every shower, despite the fact that we took extra care in minimizing water splashing. A set of shower curtain would greatly help to reduce the flooding issue.
Noise complaints were valid as hotel was located right in the heart of old town. We had to use ear plugs to get to sleep.

Stylishly put together in a old stone building in the heart of the old town...large room, great bed and very good showerHowever, its a classic example of designers not thinking of practicalities for people actually staying...poor lighting and strangely a toilet room with completely see through glass. Were married but neither of us want to watch each other on the toiletOverral a lovely stay though

This boutique hotel came highly rated in onlinne reviews, and appeared as a started choice in the Lonely Planet guide. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience, primarily, but not exclusively, due to the noise of a nearby bar which pumps out music so loudly until midnight that its impossible to sleep. Apparantly its the place to be, but its presence andusic licence is so at odds with its medieval surrounds that its in the realms of the ridiculous. On asking the front desk about the possibility of being moved to another room, we received a jaded and disinterested response informing us that the problem is the same in every room, the bar has a licence until 12am and that the police could be called after that. Oh, and they had some earplugs if we wanted them. We stayed 3 nights and this was a major problem each night. To sell bookings to customers without informing them of this major issue is disingenous to put it mildly. Whilst the hotel and rooms do look very nice in part, there were a number of issues that were completely unacceptable for a hotel of this apparent standard. Two sets of electrical sockets were hanging out of the wall. Electrical wires were sticking out of another point outside the room. The bedsheets were stained on places. One of the bedside tables marble tabletops became loose and we were told to place the lamp in the middle to balance it. It would break a foot if it toppled. The bathroom door wasnt aligned. The toilet wasnt private

unique hotel (medieval style), we got room with a living room and small area for lunch/dinner with table and chairs, and two toilets, one shower. Not sure, maybe it was an upgrade. Staff was friendly, helpful. The location was great, only problem- that loud pub near by. Removing that pub would be a great idea.

In the center of Kotor ‘s old town, comfortable walking distance to all major tourist attraction. Staff are all helpful and French toast was best in the breakfast menu.
