When we called and asked about having microwave they told us yes and then didn't have one. The bed sheets were dirty. Had to buy pillows because pillows had mold on them. A.C didn't keep room cool. Front window didn't have any locks. The towels aren't big enough to dry a kid so as a pretty good size man it didn't dry me at all. Seen cleaning lady making bed with dirty sheets in room

The room is bright as day all night. Flimsy blinds let all the light in (no curtains), and there are bright lights outside the room. WiFi is so slow that I couldn’t even get a web page to load, much less watch a movie on Netflix.

Housekeeping was a bag hung on door with towels and a roll of toilet paper. And there was a fee of $6 per nite for this added to the cost of the room. Dresser drawers were very hard to open/close. Bathroom was extremely small. No medicine chest in bathroom, just 1 very large mirror.

Location was convenient and close to boardwalk. Room was what you expect for a last minute decision and price. Only thing that was difficult was parking, spaces arent made for large trucks. Other issue was the guy checking people in is rude and has no personality, should find new job not in customer service

Pros: Excellent location, hot water, working toilet. Cons: The door didn’t seal and only had a lock on the doorknob. There was pet damage throughout, mismatched furniture with peeling veneers, and the AC unit was filthy and held up with shims. The window had broken blinds, so people could see right into your room!

I love Ocean City and let me be clear, this room was not a fortune and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. That being said, there’ plenty of hotels with a standard that’s a little more elevated when it comes to their presentation. Service was no problem. The room itself was just a room, the bathroom was adequate.

This property was HORRIBLE! DO NOT STAY THERE… We slept in our clothes and barely stayed in the room. That’s what happened when you wait until the last minute. Cheap is not always good…. BTW- they only give you two towels weather or not you have 1 person with you or 3. Tv don’t work. Holes in walls. Just a hot mess. Definitely look pass this place. STAFF IS NASTY WILL TAKE YOU OUT YOUR CHARACTER.

I took pictures- when the door is shut you can see the light from the outside. The shower was horrible. The caulking was dirty and when you ran the water in the sink it would fill up with water and not drain. There were no curtain and a dollar store blind was at the window with no way to shut the blind other than to use your hand to pull the blind down. I refused to bring my clothes in the room. The floor was dirty. The air condition work well but was loud and you couldn’t hear the tv. The ac was in the wall like a window unit. The tv worked but the volume didn’t work right. You were only allowed one car per room. Didn’t see this posted before I made the reservation.

Was just looking for somewhere cheap to crash, ended up being worried if i was going to be ok the whole time. Rusty door knoob, rusty lamp, rusty door hinges, boken outlet cover, all the stand tops were starting to peel up, floor messed up to name a few things wrong. Talked to another person staying at same hotel and they showed me pictures that their room had black mold. Would highly NOT recommend even if just looking for something cheap.

Let’s start by saying that going into this, I knew it wasn’t going to be the best place to stay judging on past reviews. With that being said, my husband and I literally just wanted a place to rest our heads at night and to take a shower. Check in was confusing because you have to walk half a block down to another hotel property to do so. At check in, we discussed extending our stay two more nights with the property manager. She gave us an outrageous price for two more days (more than double what we had already paid for 3 nights/4 days), but we decided to just go ahead and book it. Fast forward two more days and we realized that the tag in our window (for parking) still had the original date on it. Went back and spoke to the woman at the front desk and she said she wasn’t sure what happened but to talk to the manager in the morning about it. We returned in the morning to again no manager and this young man gave us a new price of $250 more for the same two nights that we were supposed to be given and was told by him that he could not honor that price but to again come back in the morning and speak to the manager. When we went back in the morning for the 3rd time, the office was locked and we decided to start looking other places, to which we found a beautiful ocean front room on the boardwalk that was double the size, for hundreds of dollars less. The rooms are VERY small, with a VERY small bathroom and not very clean. Door could easily be broken in to and paper thin walls.

This property was disgusting. The first room we were assigned didn’t have a toilet seat and smelled like bleach. I went to the office to get another room. The second room I was assigned the sheets were stained and had something gooey on it and the fridge smelled of rotten seafood. I went back to the office and the third room I was asked to look at was also disgusting, with evidence of bed bugs, the electrical outlet had no cover and there was a fly trap hanging from the ceiling covered in flies. At that point, I asked for a refund, which they refused. I ended up leaving and getting a room at another property. I don’t know how this property is still operational.

This motel is absolutely disgusting. We booked a 2 night getaway and decided on this place because of the cheap price and the photos on their website. Mistake! 1. The photos on their website does not accurately reflect what their rooms look like. 2. I honestly believe this place is violating health and safety codes. Sheets were dirty, bathroom was unusable, our front door did not shut properly, AC window unit was so filthy you could see the dust and debris being blown through the room. I have never stayed in such a place. After the first night we decided to turn our keys in and head home, we could not imagine ourselves staying there a 2nd night. Please remember after you check in and pay, they will not refund you either. Which will take me to the customer service which was just non existent, just down right rude and mean. I wish I would have read the reviews on this place before I booked, lesson learned!

There was black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and behind the air conditioner that I have pictures of. The outlets on the walls where broken and exposed rusty wires. Absolutely filthy! Myself and young daughter have done nothing but cough and feel ill since we left there. We slept in my car in the parking lot the second night. They would not give a refund or anything when we talked to them about the conditions the first day there. The first night we slept next to the open window with our own blankets and kept our belongings in the vehicle because of the bugs also. Never again. This place is dangerous for your health and definitely not up to code.

Room was in horrible shape, had holes in the walls that were poorly repaired, a huge hole in the bathroom door, the toilet had a huge crack in it and there was mold growing in the corners of the room. The air conditioner was filthy and there was curious odor to the room.

The rooms are truly outdated and need renovation. Painted and new toilet shower heads new furniture. The was blood up the pillowcase and the sheets which is unsafe and hazardous. The pictures that I reviewed didn't look nothing like that ruined down room the sockets didn't work for us to charge our phones and electric devices. The person staying in 103 had two dogs in the room who continuously barked kids were running above our head the first night in which we got no sleep. The last day of checking out i went to the office no one was there so I left the key in the room. I won't ever stay in this disgusting hotel ever again in my life. The photos on line are totally misleading. I didn't take photos but i'm definitely going on yelp and put a bad review.

The room served its purpose. HOWEVER, the last night of my 3 night stay, these two flat red tick looking bugs were IN MY BED!!! They weren’t bed bugs idk what they were. But I was beyond paranoid to sleep that final night and honestly if I didn’t have a 6 hr drive I would’ve just left in the middle of the night. Aside from that I’d stay again for the value and location, but maybe bring bug spray?? lol

There was a bug in the bed sheets. The front desk informed us that they have exterminators that come weekly and in no way could it be a bed bug despite showing them a picture of the bug.

Completely disappointed from the moment I had to check in at a completely different hotel. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. The bathroom was so tiny you had to squeeze behind the door in the shower to close the door. There was no room in the shower, not to mention how long it took to get hot water. There was no microwave. The pool was at a different hotel and was the size of a kids backyard pool. The parking lot was a disaster! Cars coming in and out trying to park hitting other vehicles in the lot!

We got lucky with our room. It was generally awful though. The rooms are tiny. Ours was clean, but many of the other guests we encountered had horrible experiences. Bedbugs, filthy beds, black mold. People blasting music and partying in the cramped parking lot at 1:30 in the morning. Don't lock yourself out of your room they'll charge you 25$ just to get back into your room. They have actually keyes not electronic locks. There is no deadbolt or any other type security lock. Just a cheap door knob from Walmart. The bathroom is just big enough to turn around in. The shower curtain is too short so water gets all over the floor. The owners take zero responsibility for anything. If you think you can get a refund you're sadly mistaken. The pictures make the place look better than it is.

Room had a hole in the floor, and then when it rained the room flooded from a hole in the air conditioner and when i told them i had to wait until 9am the next day to get moved to another room. The next room was a little better but you couldnt really close the bathroom door and had a mold/bleach smell. All i got was a sorry about the flooding which upset me seeing as i was not able to sleep that night and a few of my belongings got soaked.

My mom and I stayed here last year and we didn’t think to leave a review, but after staying here again this year, I wanted to make sure that I did. We LOVE this place. We have never had a single issue while staying here. The reviews had us nervous last year, but we’re so glad we didn’t listen to them. People need to realize that this is a budget motel. It’s for people who don’t care about frills and luxury. It’s a clean place to rest your head at night for a decent price. That’s exactly what we wanted and exactly what we got! Yes, it is dated. But the air conditioner works, the tv works, the mini fridge works, and it’s clean! There was some sand on the floors that we could feel, but it’s the beach. Was it completely spotless? No. But again, it was clean and a good price. Not to mention it’s right by the beach and down near all the main attractions and food spots. We will definitely be staying here again.

It was a great location near the inlet and board walk and I never had an issue with parking back and forth between the convention center. The room wasn’t terrible. Hard wood floors and a clean bathroom. Some stains on towels and sheets and constant sand feeling under your feet. No curtains, bright outside the blinds and could hear people fighting all night.

Absolutely disgusting. The first room we were put in had a foul smell, mud or dirt smeared all over the walls and around the doorknobs. The toilet still had dried urine on the seat and urine in the toilet. The second room we were put in wasn’t much better. The blinds were so broken you could see in and we had to talk the front desk into letting us take the only plunger they had on site. These few things were only the tip of the iceberg . It was a convenient location but that is the only perk. We all took hot showers as soon as we got home and washed every single thing we carried into the room. It’s a shame because the hotel on the other side of the restaurant is owned by the same people and during the stay last year it was clean and comfortable- just a little outdated and that’s no problem for me! I obviously will never return, and I don’t suggest anyone else risk it either.

You get what you pay for. Dont go in with high expectations and you'll be just fine. We booked this hotel for 1 night to break up our trip home from the outer banks. Its in a great location. No its not the nicest place and could definitely use some t.l.c. But past that i would stay again for another short stay
