The hotel seems to turn down air con at night so it’s hot. They turn off the aircon in the hallways so the hotel is hot. Not very comfortable experience.

Overall good, except the room door cannot be closed or opened easily, needed to apply force; and the outer curtain cannot be closed all the way, leaving quite a big gap.

No coffeemaker in the room at a 5 star hotel. When I ask the reception I hear, no only for the club rooms. As if it's normal for a over 200 USD per night hotel not to have a coffeemaker. Location is good, for the rest average at most.

Excellent location, near Chinatown, restaurants metro etc. Nice pool, tiny gym, ok breakfast buffet. I’ll definitely stay here if I ever go back to Singapore.

This is my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Singapore-it’s a somewhat small classy property that’s catering primarily to business travelers and flight crews- no tour groups so it’s quiet- rooms are somewhat small, but they work. It’s super quiet and in a great location. Tanjon Pagar MRT is 5 minutes away. Fair Price grocery store across street-Housekeeping is a bit lacking-4 dirty glasses on counter weren’t changed over 4 days.TIP: look for the wild chickens in the park in front of the hotel -cute!

Great location, comfortable bed, ok breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect, walking distance to Chinatown, the metro and places to eat. They do not offer free water but everything else is correct. Very small gym. I would definitely stay here when I come back to Singapore.

Not the fault of the hotel per se, but I got four hours of rest before the fire alarm went off early in the morning. Turned out to be a false alarm, but I didn’t get the restorative rest I was hoping for, or paid for frankly. Having stayed in dozens of hotels in Singapore, I’d say if you’re coming from any other part of the world you’ll be pleased with the hotel. I can only give it average/good in context though.

Unfortunately the i-home, TV and charger are not very friendly to use. Especiall i-home, the alarm start to sound at 6am, keep ringing for 8 times. TV operation is also not too friendly as well. The charing port does not work.

We love the hotel. Beautiful spacious rooms and friendly efficient staff. We stayed last year and enjoyed it so much we returned. The best coffee was also available at the cafe in ground floor and I have to say it’s up there as the best coffee we enjoy here in Australian cafes. We will be back next year

Lovely hotel near central Singapore without the price tag of the better known hotels. Great breakfast selection and amazing view of the city from the rooftop bar. Good pool facilities. Helpful and courteous staff. (Buy one of their water bottles, they are great and only S$10). Not cheap, but much better value than others nearby.

Lovely staff in the Club Lounge, especially Dejay, Kiki and Nick. Always attentive. Best bell captain in Chieu, extremely helpful and friendly. Sometimes no towels at the pool.

The staff were excellent and the room in most respects was very comfortable. The only real problem was the water pressure. I wanted to have a bath but it would take a very long time to fill the bath so I had a shower instead.

The staff was very unfriendly and I found it very weird that while I was working out the staff was hanging around in the very small gym area socializing and typing on the phone. For us not worth 5 stars. Pool area has no charme at all. Gym is small but okay.

The room size is okay. I used the bath tub and don’t think they have cleaned it after use. I’m not satisfied with the breakfast - offer selection is very limited. Coffee is not good either. Overall the food quality is not upto my standard and I will not stay again next time

The property bathroom was a bit old especially the shower. The room itself is nice and the air conditioner is nice and strong as Singapore was very hot in August. Across the road from the back of the Hotel is a great supermarket with everything you need and plenty of places to eat. As you leave the back of the hotel and turn left follow the road along and there are plenty of Korean and Japanese restaurants. Also the Maxwell Food Centre is down there and an MRT staion. Singapore is beautiful and clean and we tend to catch taxis everywhere as they are so cheap and very clean. Enjoy Singapore when you travel.

I love this property - from the staff to the room, it was all amazing. It is very clean and whenever you did ask for something, someone would come up almost instantly. The only "flaw" would be that when you Chromecast onto the TV, you are unable to adjust the volume.. which I thought was weird. Besides that, I would come back.
