We booked 3 rooms for family to stayb in, for a wedding in town. When we arrived, we were told elevator is broken, so we had to carry all supplies up stairs. We went to get ice on 2nd floor, however that ice machine was broken. Our chair in the room was broken. The pool looked as if it hadn't been cleaned, and almost had a film on the water, so swimming was out. The hallways and stairs need a good vacuuming and were dirty. The beds were hard, not comfy. The hot Breakfast- was a joke. No fresh fruit, no non dairy options, the yogurt machine was broken, powdered microwaved eggs, very limited options. A family member got cereal out of the dispenser, only to find ants inside the dispenser. There was no one working to refill anything during peak Breakfast time. We paid over 150 per night, and would not stay there again. I hope new management can turn the hotel around.

The bedding was dirty and had to have it changed as soon as we got there - visible stains and debris on the bedding with a strong odor coming from the stains. Floors in the hallway were very dirty. Sunflower seeds, cheerios, and other crumbs on the floor of the hallway. The front desk were very kind and changed our bedding herself when we asked.

We reserved a non smoking room, but the non smoking room we had smelled of smoke and we immediately had stuffy noses. The air conditioner was not working in the lobby when we checked in. The “buffet” breakfast, was actually a continental breakfast with a waffle maker, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. The staff person was manning the front desk and the breakfast area. He had a difficult time maintaining the breakfast food and drink. The coffee ran out, as did the cups and plates, and the eggs, sausage and bacon. The bed was comfortable.

The pol was down again for repair 3 time elevator was dirty carpet wasn’t vacuumed all weekend Breakfast was average same liquid scrambled eggs sausage and waffles yogurt machine was broke had a few donuts I don’t expect a dine in restaurant meal but biscuits and gravy or maybe pancakes. For the price that I’m paying a nite 160.00 is getting up there in price for small town Hyawatha Ks.

I am answering for my son Gray who had the room. we booked the room for our son and granddaughter from England. We booked four nights. They had flight delays and did not arrive as planned. I notified the hotel of a late arrival. Then they had another delayed so again I notified the hotel. As they didn't arrive on the day scheduled I had to book them in to save the room knowing we would lose one night. The reception staff under my problem and was very understanding and helpful in handling. My son was very pleased with the accommodation and was surprised at the size and condition. They asked me to thank everyone for their hospitality in making their visit very enjoyable and will probably see you when they visit the US again.

I have only two complaints. First was that we was a little less than an hour early and they charged me a fee which I have never had done before. Second the shower head was so high up on the wall that I had to stand on the edge of the tub in order to do any adjusting. Other than thise two things the place was very nice.
