Perfect location. Nice sized room, just what we needed for a busy weekend away. Breakfast could be improved upon though
4.4
Was such a lovely place and we will return
4.4
We liked everything about the hotel
4.4
Stayed in a suite, loads of room and everything you needed.
4.4
A period property in England.
4.4
There were no comfortable chairs. No walk-in shower. Poor state of furniture. Very stale odour when we arrived.
4.4
Quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay. It would be nice to have a little more water pressure in the place especially in the shower. Also, the parking was very limited at night.
4.4
Enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
My room was stunning, the furnishings well thought through and it had a delightful outlook over the beautiful garden. The breakfast was generous and varied..The building was full of character ,the communal rooms had lovely period detail and everywhere was clean and warm. Parking was easy and access

My wife and I decided to visit Canterbury and chose this hotel which is a short walk fro the centre. The room was superb and the breakfast was very good. The image was from our window looking out onto the back garden.
4.4
Nice tailored made breakfast provided and it's delicious
Amazing greeting from reception
Secured free parking is really convenience and attractive
Room attendant nice bed setting with my daughter's teddy standing up on her bed - we really loved that
Will definitely stay here if we come to Canterbury again

Great place to stay! The staff is amazing! The property is beautiful and well maintained, we had no complaints at all.
4.4
The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room did contain the word ‘small’ in the description but we hadn’t thought it would be so small. The shower was good and the room was clean. It would have been useful to have more than 2 clothes hangers in the wardrobe and a kettle lid that fitted properly. However, we didn’t mention this at the time and had we, it might have been rectified.
The cooked breakfast was very good.
The hotel is in a good position to walk into the centre but we could hear constant traffic from our room from the busy road.
4.4
Very good location, walking distance to city centre. Lovely garden at the back and friendly staff. Building charming but needs TLC. The downside was the breakfast - one of the worse we’ve had in England: soggy bacon, eggs had bern heated and had a rubbery coat (both the fried and poached egg)
4.4
Nice basic hotel close to Canterbury Centre, excellent service
4.4
Very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and pretty back garden. The walk to the cathedral is about 12-15 minutes. Certainly doable but thought it worth mentioning.
4.4
The staff are very helpful and the cottage was wonderful overlooking the gardens
4.4
The building needs some TLC repair work. The property is outside the downtown area that we came to visit.
4.4
Lovely hotel, short walk from the cricket ground and a bit longer into town.
I had a room with a very good breakfast but friends were in a bungalow and apartment both of which looked great so there’s a choice self catering.
Lovely garden and seating at the back.
Good for parking too.

Stayed in one of the cabins for 3 nights. Generally fine but cleanliness was a concern (eg found dead bugs on floor). Furniture etc was again adequate but just expected a bit better given what we paid. That said, beautiful garden and main building.
4.4
Amazing hotel with a great breakfast and a strong wifi signal
4.4
Internet not working. No one available to fix it. Not business friendly.
4.4
The hotel was dated but they have updated the bathrooms. The room was layer out badly having to squeeze past the bed and banging my head on the tv twice. The reception staff were functional but not really friendly a bland apology that the WiFi was not working which with a lot of work to do was not helpful on top of the bad reception. I hardly slept as the bed and pillows were rock hard but I did enjoy the breakfast in the morning and there was ample free parking for the guests. Short walk to shops and town about 20 minutes.
4.4
Stayed in a 2 bed cottage. Plenty of room, lounge diner Kitchen, Double bedded room and twin bedded room. Bathroom with shower over bath. There were a couple of marks on the carpet, possibly chewing gum, and a couple of the kitchen cupboards needed hinges sorting out.
Overall a good stay, makes a much better base than just a hotel room with an en-suite.

The Ebury Hotel was by far our favorite accommodation in the well over a month my two children and I have been traveling through Europe and the UK. It has so much Victorian character and they’ve been sure to keep that alive. The place was quiet, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful. Blake was particularly wonderful; kind, helpful, engaging and absolutely welcoming. He made our stay that much more like home. Thank you for the wonderful stay, Ebury!
4.4
Very comfortable room, lovely breakfast and extremely helpful and friendly staff. The hotel has great character and being a Victorian building is far more interesting than some of the better known chain establishments.
4.4
Nice place! Good value, friendly staff, clean and warm. Room good size, bathroom very clean with good shower water pressure (although bath rather narrow). Nice "full English" included in price. Off street parking in front of the hotel. Convenient 10 minutes walk to the centre of town.
4.4
We stayed in one of the cottages, which had undergone some updating but the bedrooms still need some tlc. It was ckean, warm and just what we needed.
4.4
Great location for our family visit to Canterbury!
4.4
Clean, awesome breakfast, pet friendly.
4.4
Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a cottage and it was sorely in need of updating. Carpet stained and old. Couch the same, and too uncomfortable for our backs. Lightning extremely bright and poorly chosen. Not a place we looked forward to coming back to!
4.4
Another great stay at this hotel.
4.4
Lovely and friendly staff in a sadly very tired hotel
4.4
Evening staff very helpful.
Didn't like the limited optrions for recycling.
4.4
Nice cottage in the hotel garden. Not far from the center of Canterbury
4.4
Nice hotel for the money and the breakfast was very good! Grounds are really nice and beds comfy.
4.4
Cute place, great hot tubs, close enough to walk into town and see the sights.
4.4
I is a beautiful place but service was poor and not really friendly !
4.4
The location is great, the staff are fine. The hotel does not have A/C and the room 9 the bed was not good.
4.4
Loved our stay, very clean and the bed was very comfy. Nice breakfast, didn’t have to wait long
4.4
In need of renovation cottages and apartments are very bartered .
