Excellent en location for a night on a budget. Close to a park and beach and Bernard Street where a lot of action is happening. A/C in the dorm which is not a common thing in hostels.much appreciated!

Everything was nice and easy to figure out. Staff were super helpful when asking questions!

Washrooms were gross, not clean, rundown, and no tp even after telling front desk. He said they filled it but we're at max capacity. Perhaps they should check it more frequently if at max capacity. Front desk guy was friendly and nice.

This is a hostel in downtown Kelowna. The room is tiny. Bathroom functional. We booked a private room/ bathroom. Excellent staff, $10 paid parking adjacent. Short walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Room was quiet, bed clean. Good value if you're passing through and do not need bells and whistles.

I enjoyed this hostel it was clean and very close to the park and town, nice patio, free coffee, nice big kitchen and friendly staff. It was mellow and comfy bed. Only thing for me is I like bigger lockers but it did fit my backpack. Would stay again. Thanks!

We stayed for 2 weeks whilst relocating to the area and it was fine. A few minor issues but for Kelowna it was relatively cheap.
Our double room with private bath was very very small. No storage, just some hooks on the wall, bathroom was a good size but dirty, I cleaned it myself on the first day.
Towels are included and fresh ones are at the front desk daily, I also asked for a change of sheets and that was fine. The kitchen is large and well equipped, it’s cleaned regularly by staff.
The staff all seem to live there but I didn’t really encounter anyone “in charge” they all seemed like backpackers who didn’t really care. The front door has a code but is rarely locked which is concerning considering how close it is to down town. People just came and went as they pleased without Reception seeming to care or monitor. Bike storage is an outdoor rack in the patio area.
The parking on site is $10 a night which is a rip off considering the price of the rooms. However there is street parking available in the community behind the hostel.
I would stay again if I needed but it’s definitely not the best hostel or in anyway luxurious. It needs better staff / cleaners and some major renovations to the rooms.

Good staff, Although the yard maintenance man, use the leaf blower to blow dust on us while we were seated on the patio. He could have cleaned early in the morning or later at night not during the day.

Deep cleaning your walls, inside the rooms is something I would like to suggest

Highly unprofessional stuff they booked me in and then they said they would accept my ID and did not when I was there left me homeless and cold on the street thank God a friend was able to get me into a hotel or I would have been on the street after booking through Expedia to them I arrived and nothing they said was right would never ever recommend them

Took an hour to check in because some French guy didn’t know what he was doing. I lost patience and left and got another hotel. This place is dirty and full of people that don’t know what they are doing. Worst place I have ever stayed

6 bed dorm crowded and inadequately ventilated during respiratory virus season (window needed to be closed due to traffic noise), 8 bed was roomier. Parking expensive as had to pay $12.50 for every night. Liked the pancake breakfast and location….

I can’t believe this place is licensed for hosting travellers ! How did they get a permit with such terrible rooms ? In addition the price is too high for no clear reason. I am gratifying stayed there only two nights not more.

The location was perfect as it was walking distance to a very nice area of Kelowna.
Surprised to find out that we had to pay extra to park our car in their parking lot!
The breakfast was included (make your own pancakes), but there were no other options.

Location is excellent!! Close to transport, restaurants and lakeside beach area.
Place is clean, beds are comfortable. Air conditioning works great. You even get breakfast.

Bathrooms were pretty disgusting
3.0
I liked the location and overall convenience of being downtown. I also found the cleanliness of my room to be acceptable and the kitchen was well-organized.
I gave this a 3 because I found the staff to be very cold towards me. I understand that I made a huge oversight with my ID, and that it's not fair for people that have proven they're from outside of Kelowna, but I didn't feel like I was being accommodated through the process. I felt like I was being condemned for making a mistake, and I don't think that's an impression you want to give to prospective customers. I've learned my lesson about ensuring my ID is up-to-date, and that there's value in paying more for basic human decency.
