The staff was very nice I came into town with my wife and children for a wedding. When we came back from the wedding our room smelled of marijuana.

Our studio room was quite spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen area was nice although we did not use it much. The big shower was great. The shower head was nice except when rinsing shampoo from long, thick hair; but it just took a little longer.

Stay was okay. Nothing special. The rooms are a bit dilapidated and the bathroom we stayed in was moldy, old shower head and ripped up curtains. There were no bed sheets for the sofa bed (sofa bed was really bad condition)

The room was not cleaned from the previous guests. There were used towels on the bathroom floor, garbage in all cans, the soaps were used, and the beds were a mess. Called to talk to the front desk and their initial resolution was to send up some towels and toilet paper while being adamant that the room was cleaned. After showing pictures and arguing with the supervisor, they finally offered another room. During this time I chatted Hotels.com customer service, they were no help either, and said the hotel was taking care of it (with the offer of staying in the room and getting new towels.)

This was a safe, well appointed accommodation. The only problem was because it’s pet friendly and the housecleaning was not good. There were dog food, kibbles, and hair everywhere and we did not have a shower curtain. When I called to report it, they apologized and brought me a shower curtain immediately.

The first room is on The first floor which was musty and a handicap assessable. Our second room is on the third floor, which was a little bit better. Although there were things that were broken, the freezer door handle and my opinion, I believe this property needs a little work.

Staff were friendly but I was told I could get a handicapped room when we checked in and there were none. You should add supports in the bathroom and clean the shower better. We were at the end of a hallway and on the 4th floor if there had been a fire I would have been in big trouble!

The property is set back from the road so it is nice and quite. The only issue was I noticed some paper trash in the hallways and my shower could of been cleaner (the shower head needs to be cleaned or replaced). But overall it was a great room.

Everything would have been perfect if the cleaning lady did not start waking us up before 10 AM and walking right in at exactly our checkout time. We only stayed one night and I thought this was very rude.

Didn’t know an active rail line runs directly behind the inn. Very loud and shook the bed several times during a pretty restless night. On a positive note, the kitchenette was awesome and there’s a great grocery store a quick walk away.

The couch was withered and old and the tub had mold all around it. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and there was no extra blankets or pillows. And it was a bummer that you had to order outside the hotel to get food. However, the people who worked there were lovely and kind and gracious.

What happened to breakfast, it was terrible. Starting to show age, after renovation just couple years ago. Dont use cloth sofas, they are gross. Chairs in dining pretty disgusting as well.

The hotel was kept in pristine condition. The rooms were spacious and contained items (e.g., drinking glasses and a coffee maker) like an apartment. Also, the staff was very kind and helpful.

The weekend stay was delightful. The facility was under some renovations, however all services were made available. Breakfast had a nice selection of items. Rooms are large. Mini kitchen if you have a longer stay. Shop & Stop next door for food shopping. Although the train tracks are at the rear of the facility, the noise is not disturbing at night. Room had a nice sitting area separate from the sleeping quarters. Bathroom was oversized compared to most motel/hotels with a very good walk-in shower. Pricing was fair compared to hotels with similar included values.

There is no bar or restaurant on the premises. Short on some amenities. No hand cream in bathrooms, no ice machines except at the front desk and my bed did not get made after the first night.

The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was spacious. We liked the roomed amenities. The TV being high-tech was unique and appreciated. Breakfast was good, There were enough food options for one picky eater and one vegan. The major thing we did not like was the pool did not live up to expectations of what was posted online. The picture on the website of the pool is misleading. We were unaware of how small the pool was. The atmosphere was cramped and loud even with just one family present. Other than this, our stay was good, would book again.

I’d stay at this Residence Inn time and time again when I’m traveling to NYC or Jersey. Place on very clean inside and outside. Staff are amiable. And it is Very convenient to travel to NYC from Orangeburg and back
