Very nice hotel. A little used and could do with an update, but we loved staying there and will be back, next time we are in Cape Town.

Just stayed here for a day before the end of a trip! Great location near the water and restaurants in Sea Point. Convenient starting point if you want to spend time at the beaches. Spacious rooms and the balcony was a huge plus!

Ideally located away from the expensive City Centre (but not too far). Clean, inexpensive functional hotel with a BRILLIANT set of staff who could not do enough for us. Full occupancy which sort of says it all doesn't it!Thankyou Amalfi for being the best of foundations fir our dream trip.....AND we won the cricket match LOL!

The hotel was overall good in relation to what we paid, we arrived about 3 hours before check in, they were happy to hold on to our luggage while we explored Cape Town until our room was ready, we had a nice view of a mountain and the hotel is quite central. It is a very busy location, so do make sure you don’t mind a lot of noise. A few things do need a bit of work here and there, our kitchen light wasn’t working, we didn’t receive a tv remote, the connection was awful too and the tiles above the bath as well as the glass door needs a good cleaning. Other than that we had no complaints.

Thankfully the hotel staff were more switched on than those at Expedia who had for got to book the room after taking the payment months before!! Emails and phone calls went back and forth until Expedia admitted they had got things wrong and would provide the hotel with a virtual credit card account to charge all bills to during the stay!!Great place to stay, away from the busier areas of the city but close enough to be able to get to when you wanted to.Fantastic views of Signal Hill and Lions Head with the imposing Table Mountain standing majestically behind them. In the other direction was the beautiful South Atlantic.A very spacious and comfortable room giving plenty of space to relax after some long days exploring the Cape region and beyond. Everything you need to help your holiday go smoothly and in a relaxed manner is there for you and if not the staff will attempt to get it for you or

The Amalfi is an apartment hotel in the heart of Sea Point. Rooms vary in size and layout but all have a bed, sitting area, kettle and microwave, and a bathroom with a good, powerful shower. The staff are helpful and there are restaurants (not part of the hotel) on the premises if you dont want to fix your own breakfast. Some of the furniture has seen better days but the overall package, which includes secure parking, and the location make it a very good value place to stay.

The Amalfi is a no frills serviced apartment option. My studio flat was equipped with twin beds, bathrom with good shower, microwave, cafetiere (with cofee) and tv with Direct tv. Secure car parking is available at no extra cost. Wi-fi is free. There is no bar or resteraunt, but it is situated in the heart of Sea Point, which has plenty of both. It represents excellent value for money and is a comfortable place to stay.
