A Hotel room. c 50's deco ? Clean sheets n towels. Tidy. TV A/C. Some counter meals. Good hot showers (separate M/F). Secure. Separate accommodation entry, Good CCTV parking at rear. In CBD. On River. Quiet. Good sleeps while travelling.

We had difficulty skeeping as room was above a party till 2am that had ele tronic beat music playing. Patrons were noisy after eve t with seawring til 3am. As hitel was not full, a better room locationshould have been available

Checking in was very sensitive and required my licence and card to be photographed, sensitive information that I hope is secure. Room had not been cleaned from previous guest, luckily 1 bed was clean,so used it, must admit that I have stayed here before and have had a positive experience.

First please note this motel is right above the Imperial Irish Pub, and there will be live music and drink customers downstairs during the weekend. If you are a deep sleeper or like to hangout in the pub then this place is right for you; if you are looking for a quiet place to relax, then better choose another place.
Overall, I love this place (even I didn’t sleep very well Friday and Saturday night) and it’s decent for the price. I chose this motel for my son’s basketball tournament in Maitland, and it’s the only place available in Maitland when the game roster releases. This place only changes half or even 1/3 of the price comparing to other motels and hotels in that area. The room type is a single room with shared bathroom and toilet. The room and facilities are a bit old but the bed sheet is clean and everything is tidy and clean! Considering we only use this place for resting and sleep, I am happy with everything offering here, for example, it comes with light complementary breakfast (toast, milk, cereal, and yogurt), there is microwave and fridge to use, simple clean up everything when you are done eating. The cleaning lady is quiet but get the bathroom cleaned everyday. There are plenty of restaurants just around the corner, and WWs supermarket is about two blocks away. Most importantly, the Murray River is right behind the motel, and you could have a nice walk along the river side in a sweet sunny afternoon/evening! I really love this place and will stay here again!

Very large rooms, free use of kitchen (for breakfast and coffee/tea). they had several showers and toilets in wet areas separate for men and women.
Although there was a function on we had no issues with the noise apart for our room that was next to the wooden staircase, this was audible, especially if a group would be traveling to their place of rest.

Thanks for a nice stay! Loved the Irish publican in the day time he made us very welcome. Clean comfy digs for a rural stay, food terrific and we also enjoyed happy hour prices whilst we watched the footy. We will be back!

Communal bathroom and toilets spotless.

As far as pub rooms with shared amenities go this is great value and spotlessly clean. The staff are cheerful and very accommodating. I will definitely put on top of my list for my next stay in Maitland.

What a delightful hotel. A beautiful old pub but with modern facilities and good shared bathrooms. Continental breakfast was provided at a well appointed shared kitchen. The room was a very comfortable although there was some traffic noise from the street below.

Staff were great. Access was easy. Bar offers no after hours food for patrons and guests. Room stunk like urine. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and hurt my back. Fire alarm went off at 2.30am causing evacuations twice early hours forcing guests to leave. It was unfortunate this happened but it didnt help the situation.

Accommodation is pub style above the bar and band area. Noise from below reverberates up to rooms. Probably fine on a weekday but was impossible to sleep until the band stopped on a Friday night.
We booked and paid extra for a room that had a private bathroom, only to find the bathroom was just a bathroom sink. The toilets and showers were still shared with other rooms. Luckily there was only one or two other guests so it was almost like a private bathroom, but misrepresenting in the ad.
Lighting on the corridors was poor and we couldn't find the light switch. Another guest found a lamp that she turned on. The ceiling lights not working is dangerous in an emergency and the lamp isn't obvious.
I also managed to lock myself in the shower. The men's shower door locks but does not unlock. So I had to brute force the door open. Lucky I was not a kid or an old-timer as they would have been in trouble. That's also dangerous.
However, staff were nice and accommodating. And the facilities were relatively clean. And it was cheap. And breakfast was provided ( bread, cereal, juice, tea, coffee) so no complaints there.

Extremely happy with my 12 nights stay. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. In house restaurant served fantastic food at good prices.

I liked the old fashion hospitality and the decor with its lead light window. The dining room offered tasty and reasonably priced meals.
The rooms were adequate, but being an old building the walls were thin and sounds travelled.

My stay was very enjoyable except for the poeple walking in the corridor in the middle of the night that woke me up.
