The room was lovely and very comfortable. We appreciated the welcome items. The woman working at the bar was so kind to take my dinner order, expedite it being prepared and brought it out quickly to me. After a long travel day, I appreciated this kindness so I could get to my room and relax. We were happy to be so close to the airport and still have shuttle service which was great for our bags.

A major housekeeping incident (walking in on a guest despite being told not to enter the room, and despite the door bolt having been engaged) was unpleasant enough in the first place. But a weak and jumbled response by management to the incident evoked my anger when I went down to the front desk shortly after.

Lobby staff were very friendly and helpful! Some of the breakfast staff seem burned out on their jobs. The food was filling and tasty though. The room was clean and comfortable and we slept well! But the traffic below is noisy in the morning and we woke up to all the honking. Easy walk to the airport right down the street. We will stay again.

The staff was friendly and efficient. Check-in was swift. The shuttle to and from the airport is timely and helpful. Great location for the airport. You can walk if you don't have too much luggage. Dinner and breakfast buffets are abundant but only mediocre quality. Bathroom is very little.

It’s ok. Great location for the airport and really nice restaurant with decent food and nice drinks (unusually good for airport hotel). Rooms are ok, quite noisy, very hard bed and weird frosted glass toilet/shower. Staff are nice though.

Great airport hotel. Helpful and attentive staff. Just an overnight stay with an early morning flight and the front desk set us up to receive a breakfast box in the AM. Good move. Nothing open at the airport that early (3:30am) and our breakfast box saved us.

Only over night stay in premium room. Room was very nice, spacious for Europe and large bathtub and separate shower. Breakfast came with room which was badger style and lots of choices. A five minute from international airport downhill and shuttle service back to airport.

I love this hotel when I need quick access to the Lisbon airport the following day. Every employee from the person who answered the phone and gave me directions to the shuttle pick up, the shuttle driver, the front desk staff and restaurant personnel were friendly and professional. Both times I stayed at the Meliá Hotel, my meals were excellent with five star service!

The hotel room was fine (except the light fixtures were really cheap). Our problem was with the dining room. It took over 20 minutes before a server came over to us, and that only after we complained at the desk. After that it was over 40 minutes before the meal was served. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that they were not on duty. One of the worst restaurant experiances ever!

My husband and I chose this hotel because of the proximity to the airport. After returning our rental car at the airport, we walked to the hotel which only took us eight minutes. We were planning on walking back the next morning for our morning flight but since it was pouring, we took the hotel shuttle service instead. We only waited for ten minutes. The room was new, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We took advantage of the sauna and steam bath which felt very relaxing after a two week busy holiday in Portugal. We did not use the swimming pool as it required people to purchase caps at a cost of three Euros per person. The saunas were perfect for us. The restaurant served an excellent dinner in a nice relaxing setting. We had traditional Portuguese dishes with wine. The service was on the slow side but we didn’t mind the wait as we enjoyed the last night in Portugal with wine and talking about our trip. The Breakfast buffet was also delicious with abundant choices of hot and cold dishes, fruits, bread, and pastries. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Very handy location a five minute downhill walk from the airport. However we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the free shuttle (which we had to use because of our luggage). Hotel itself is nicer than many airport hotels. A little peeling paint in hallways but room was clean and modern

We booked the Melia Aeroporto because we needed a hotel for the night prior to our return to the U.S. For that, it was fine, but the staff at the front desk was unnecessarily rude and brusque. For a hotel near an international airport, their English was very poor. The room was adequate although our door to the hallway was broken. We had hoped to have enjoyed a last meal with our family before we went our separate ways, but the food in the restaurant was terrible and the service even worse. The dining room was chaotic - the bottle of wine we ordered never arrived. We waited more than 30 minutes between finishing our starter course and our entree course. Breakfast the next morning, though, was quite good.

The premium room they gave us was not functional. The air-conditioning kept tripping ...It was only after we brought this to their attention that they admitted that there was a problem. They did eventually fix it and also offered us an alternate room.

We thought the hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and very convenient to the airport. The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. However, the service in the bar was atrocious. We were completely ignored and the staff actively avoided making eye contact. We left after about 15 minutes and went to the hotel across the street for a drink. We did leave a complaint for management but it went unaddressed. We likely would not return given the poor service.
