It smelled so awful in the room. The floor was sticky. The curtains were broken. There was chewed up gum stuck on the wall. Bugs in the bathroom. The staff was fine but I was disappointed with the room. I paid for a Times Square view and definitely did not get one. Feel I overpaid a lot for this room

There was some confusion of checking in our bags at a different Hilton on Times Square just about three blocks away. Customer service wasn't great. The pillows are so flat, they make sleep not so comfortable. The room was nice, though.

It was nice stay at Hilton garden. Rooms were smaller and they don’t keep water in the room you need to take it from lobby which is bit annoying

Fabulous location! Clean, quiet affordable hotel in the heart of NYC!

Upper level corner room advertised as a Times Square view but wasn’t. We were 2 blocks away. The location was convenient. Housekeeping was very good. Front desk was a bit odd, different front desk staff gave different prices for the same goods and services. The shower in our room took about 10 minutes to get hot water. No luggage racks in the room. We asked and never got any. Lost water for a day without compensation.

The location is excellent! The lobby is too small. The self-service washing machine and dryer charge too much.

The hotel staff was extremely nice. However, the room had a musty smell but was very clean.

Very basic hotel in need of renovation and change of staff as half of them were unprofessional. Only good thing is location of the hotel and the size of the rooms. Other than that better to try a different one.

We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. Checkin on a Saturday around 3 was a little congested but that is to be expected. We were able to check our luggage at 1:00 and go take a walk around Time Square and have lunch. The room was small but was perfect us. Plenty of storage and view of the One Time Square was nice although it is been reconstructed at this time. Still fun to look out at the ball every night. There was a little issue with hot water but we learned to let it run a few minutes and it would come on. Apparently it takes awhile to get hot water up to the the 29th floor. Housekeeping came daily and made up the room. Fresh supply of towels and coffee supplies were left also. We had $10 a day each to use in the store, We just took what we wanted daily, no one really took notice of what we took. Coffee all day in the lobby
was nice. They do serve breakfast but we wanted to try other options in the city. The proximity to Bryant Park,Time Square and the Subway are Phenomenal. We enjoyed getting food and just sitting in the park and watching the world go by. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

First they cloud not find our reservation, when they finally found it they gave us an upgrade that wasn't one. The manger and the reception desk stuff spoke Spanish with each other while we where standing in front of them - very unprofessional and rude.
To top it of stuff in our room wend missing...

The only criticism: the bar closed at 11pm on Saturday night. We came back from a show looking forward to a drink—closed. Seemed unusual

Great hotel. Great staff. Excellent location. Hotel is between Times Square and Bryant Park/NYC Library/5th Ave. The hotel offered a bunch of amenities, but we really didn't have a chance to utilize them.
The only complaint we would have are a couple of fire alarms that happened during our stay and the beds are a little too stiff for my liking.
I would recommend for the location, and cleanliness. Would stay again.

There was construction all day until about 5. The noise was unbearable. They should have warned us about the construction/noise in advance.

Stayed in Time’s Square as a base for a 3-day trip. The room was on the 35th floor. Noise from an upstairs mechanical room was constant—not deafening, but irritating and clanging most of the night. The window was broken and would not lock; during the rain and wind, it blew open 2-3 times—fortunately it wasn’t winter. I spoke with the desk, and they were polite but ineffective. Will avoid this one in the future.

The location was great. The room was dirty and furniture is heavily worn. Shower leaked water all over the bathroom and extra towels needed to be requested to accommodate. The bedding was dirty. We bought pillow cases and sheets to use. Not the quality I expect from Hilton.

No one told us ahead of time that there was construction in the building. It sounded like they were hammering pipes in our room's bathroom from 8 a.m. until we checked out at 11:30. Staff at front desk said we should have received an email. Never received an email. There was a sign at the front desk that also was never pointed out to me upon check in. Very disappointed.

The jackhammering too noisy. Terrible
The bed frames were too big for the room. You kept banging your legs and getting bruised.

Some repairs looked like the were due in the room. Check in/out staff was wonderul, door security was so nice. No one explained that you need to use ur room key for the elevators, that would have been very helpful as we couldn't understand why it was not working correctly. There was do not clean room. The cleaning staff tossed our drinks away that we had not finished. We both our favorite water which is not cheap, came back from being for the day to find them gone.

My review would have been better if the room service was good. The issues are: 1. the water from bathroom comes to the main bedroom area everytime after taking shower. 2. The room service staff forgets to take out our waste from previous night's dinner take out. 3. There was never some stir bar to use when making tea/coffee. Hope they would take care of these issues.

Room size was ok and bathroom was good. There is a problem with the hot water in the hotel, need to keep the water running for upto 5 mins for hot water to start coming out. Few hiccups on the service but for the price it does the job and location somewhat convenient

During my entire stay the air conditioning system was making loud noises all night. I moved to another room on day two and that room had the same issue. It was impossible to sleep. Many customers complained about the noise problem, but it was not resolved in the one week that I was at the hotel. It was horrible!

My sheets had stains on them when I arrived. There was a leftover box of Trojan condoms in my closet. There was hair on the sink and in the blankets. Every single towel in my room had stains on them. The shower took 10 minutes to even just get luke warm. Really really low budget hotel. I felt dirty sleeping there.
