Beach is walkable from property. A lot of dining options around. Though room is small but clean. There is available microwave and refrigerator in descent size. Parking is quite tight too.

We have stayed at the Seaside Inn a few times in the past, but a couple of incidents this last time bumped it off the list of places we will spend money for. The first incident occured at midnight out first night when a stranger walked into our room. The motel had given him a keycard to our room. This could have ended far worse than it did as I am prone to vigerously protecting my family. When my keycard did not work in the morning I woke the manager who did not seem to care about this late night incident and just gave me a new key card. Later that day they called me as they had no idea which room they had me registered in.Even though this was the third time I reinterated our room and asked they log it. The second incident was at 9:30 am on the day we were to check out. (checkout is 11am). We left for a beach event at 7am and put a do not disturb sign on the door. When we returned to at 9:30am to quickly shower and check out our door was open the beds were stripped and the towels were gone. We collected our belongings (which should have given the maid service the idea we were coming back) again we had an hour and a half before the 11am checkout. No shower, room stripped before we even checked out, strangers with keycards walking in while we sleep. Yes not near what one would expect. Sorry to say the Seaside inn is off our list.

It was a clean safe room. Close to the ocean. The area directly surrpunding the hotel was a little run down and loud but the beach was within walking distance.

The couple that runs the Seaside Inn is very friendly. The property is a short drive to Monterey. It is clean and newly refurbished. The parking is limited.

Older facility, but very clean with nice bathrooms and friendly office staff! Close to some tasty dining options (we love Gusto and Butter House). Easy to get to downtown Monterey.

We were getting in late and staff made arrangements for us to be able check in late. It was great room and convenient stay near shops and restaurants. Room was clean. The only problem was parking there is not enough room. Besides this I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here twice because it is a great little place to stay. The room and the bed was comfortable and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

I liked the stay here. It was very comfortable. The only problem was that the ice machine didn’t work, but there are refrigerators in the room that I rented, so it’s really not a problem. The motel is close to shopping and restaurants as well as close to the freeway. I will definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed the property and the rooms were clean and in good condition. Additional parking is the only thing that would make it better in my opinion.

I stayed here on 07/18-07/19/24. We are a family of four, we arrived here late night and check in was fast. The place is very neat and clean. The night was quiet. The only thing that upset me was that the lady that cleans opened our door before the check out time. Other than that everything was good and enjoyed the stay!

Overall for the budget it was great, the environment was safe and friendly and the staff was very accommodating.

Location was close to beach and stores. Clean room, comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking was a little tight.

Nice clean and easy to check in. Only downside is it’s one level which creates a safety hazard but other than that great visit.

Before I booked this hotel I read a review that said this hotel is a hidden gem. I came to found that that is true. The room was clean with clean sheets, toilet floor and shower, but the towels were a little dirty along with the tv remote. We had booked this hotel for two nights and on the first day our room key stopped working. This was fixed immediately, thankfully.

The room was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, mini fridge and microwave was plus. Had shampoo and shower gel. Nobody above or below me, parking was a plus. The grounds are kept up nicely and was inviting. I will definitely stay at Seaside again. The staff friendly so great. Love this place.

Easy to check in. Newly renovated and very clean

Room and cleanliness is ok, but they charged for more per room when we checked in. They said because we didn't mention we booked for three people including my son. We said yes we did when we booked the room on line with Hotel.com Anyway, we paid for it but they didn't give us the receipt while we asked for it?

Gum on the floor and stuck to the ceiling, many areas of the room are very dusty/dirty. The manager called the room within 10 minutes of us entering being very rude about having children with me. I understand noise complaints but honestly the kids had a long car ride and were excited to be at a hotel.

Parking is tiny and very difficult to maneuver. If you don’t have a backup camera, dont stay here. Otherwise, property is clean and I felt safe as a single woman.

Clean and comfortable room at a fair price

Probably the best cheap motel in seaside. If the price is right, it is my first choice. (Prices change a lot around here!)
