Breakfast was until 10 am. We turned up at 9. The buffet was nearly empty. This was a big disappointment, in fact not acceptable.

It was very hot outside and no air condition, so had problem with getting a good night sleep. Beside that, this place was wonderful with supertasty food, nice breakfast and amazing location! Very dog friendly, so happy to get a dog bed at the room and some snacks for the dog!

Great stay, close to Autobahn. spacious rooms and very nice spa area.

Modern and updated. The sauna was fantastic.

Very nice stay!
The only thing that surprised us was the fact that the vast majority of cheese in the breakfast were lactose free which is a bit strange.
The steam sauna was out of order at our stay but the other saunas and the swimming pool worked just fine.

Nice hotel with a good atmosphere.
Spacious rooms.
Good food.
The sauna area was good, but the pool was too cold.
After 6pm they focus mostly on the restaurant guests (Michelin) and not the hotel guests, which e.g. caused them to run out of towels at the spa area every evening.

Very pleasant overnight stay with very friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Easy parking and dog friendly. Would definitely recommend for a Bavarian experience.

Restaurants are open only a few days per week. There were no bath towels available in the pool area when we went swimming. Parking is limited - first come, first served.

Room was gloomy - lighting wasn't best designed to optimise the lack of daylight due to a small window and a nearby tree.
Restaurant was not available for most of the stay though when it was the food was very good.
Excellent breakfast buffet

We are staying there at least once a year because of the great character rooms and nice pool and spa, great with kids

Excellent hotel... sadly, short staffed which affected the quality of service. The management are aware and are recruiting...!

I was on holiday and had planned to visit Obersalzberg and Neuschwanstein Castle so chose Frasdorf as a unknown pitstop between the two places. The hotel was a nice surprise as it was so traditional in every way and I am so glad I have had the opportunity to stay in it. Everything was perfect and it was far better than staying in a generic, commercial-chain hotel.

Very charming accomodation. We requested a connecting room and were given room 201 & 202 (2 adults and 2 kids). They were the largest connecting room we ever had.

The primary function of a hotel is to provide facilities for rest and sustenance for weary travellers. After a testing 9 hour drive from Zagreb I was looking forward to freshening up, having a nice dinner and then a good night of sleep ready for the next leg of my long drive from Istanbul to the UK. On arrival we were informed that as the hotel was understaffed in the kitchen and front of restaurant that they were not allowing any further guests to eat in the restaurant that evening, So instead of rest and recuperation I had to go searching on foot for somewhere to eat in the area, which frankly was the last thing I wanted to be doing. It also put me in a bad humour.I ate somewhere else that also only had one person in the kitchen and one person in front of house, but they seemed to be able to bang plates of very decent food out at lively pace. We understand that many other guests were similarly inconvenienced, but I doubt that manyof them had driven for 9 hours to be so inconvenienced. If I could mark it lower using your system I would.Room fine, breakfast fine.

Location is great and it is a really nice property. Just needs some updating and vents in the rooms. Extremely hot inside the rooms.

Located in a quiet town, this is a nice inn. Innkeeper does not speak much English, but that was not a problem. Breakfast was very good. Ample free parking. Walk to historic monastery with brewery and distillery. Scenic area. Farmer started mowing hay in adjacent yard at 7:30 AM.

We stayed the night and ate at the restaurant - it was perfect ! The hotel is very quaint and charming, and staff is lovely and helpful. The dinner experience was equally enjoyable, with a great wine selection!

The hotel is nice and quiet and has a good restaurant. While there's nothing much locally, it is very close to Konigsee and the Eagle's Nest. Nice big room, quaint property with pool and terrace!

Great amenities including pool and sauna. Completely authentic Bavarian experience. Easy drive to Chiemsee lake.
2.0
This hotel is close to Chiemsee and reasonably priced. The rooms were really warm with no fan or A/C. Although typical for Germany, we had to leave our room door totally open to get a breeze from the open window in order to sleep comfortably. Excellent breakfast in the morning made up for it.

Really good parking was tough to find but overall really good Coffee shop the best service
2.5
A charming hotel centrally located for day trips to castles, lakes, and the mountains.

Was only there one night but could have stayed many more. Staff was great and rooms were very clean and comfortable. If looking for shopping and such this is not the place for you. If wanting a relaxing and no stress atmosphere this is your place. Only thing we found that was an issue was ran out of hot water in shower. If have time to wait till heats back up - good to go. If 2 people needing to shower, one might want to get up a little early if on a time schedule as we were.

Nice little town, hotel is an average hotel, quite dated, and the lobby smell like fish since its right next to the kitchen

It is very nice to see Herrenchiemsee and Salzburg. It is a small, quiet town, so you might have to eat dinner in the next town, or rely on their dining room. Food is expensive but homemade and very good

Lack of english speaking,no aircondition and no lift,.We had to climb 2 storeys for our room.
