What a gem this place is. Owners and their family were so welcoming and friendly. Helpful in every way they could be. The property is situated down a quaint alley that adjoins other apartment complexes. We enjoyed people watching with the morning coffee, and just talking it all in. Steps away is a great locals restaurant where we were able to eat for a family of 3 for about $9 CAD. The owners there taught us how to add the fixings to our dishes via some sign language interpretation. Theres a bank nearby, scooter taxi and they have all the tours that can be booked. Its very reasonable and at a very reasonable price. No, its not a luxury resort; theres no room service, but the rooms were clean, modern and if you like firm beds, youre in luck! Will 1500% stay again. Cant recommend highly enough.

This is the 2nd tiem I come back to Dfeel Hostel 5years later. Its cheap and it provide the basic toiletries, but do remember to bring own toothbrush and toothpaste as they do not provide it.
Pros : staff there are good and friendly. They provide motorbike rental, passport kept in their premise. Cheap price for a private room with toilet for 4 person.
Cons: Abit far to walk to patong beach and other tourist attractions. Rental bike is a must.

Enjoyed our stay here. It’s a good location and within walking distance of patong beach and Bangla road. Bunk beds are pretty decent sized. The owner is friendly and helpful. You can buy beers in the lobby! The nonrefundable policy is strictly enforced and you will not be able to modify your reservation.

The moment you walk in, you would notice that this hostel has a retro vibe in it. The receiving and common area for breakfast is Instagram worthy. They also have a small alfresco area but all you would see are motorcycles lined up. Our room didnt have a window in it, but it is really clean and updated and the shower heater is working really well.

There were some ants in the room. If you are sensitive, you might consider other hostels. And the hostel is a bit far from the Bangla road. It takes almost 20-30 minutes on foot.
Excepts those two things, everything was good. The room was very clean and the restroom was fine. You can have some food in the lobby like simple ones like instant noodles, fruits, and cereals but you can't cook. Wifi worked very well.

Was a decent hostel with helpful staff. We did have some ants in our room but apart from that all was good.

It was good. The place was clean. I wish the AC worked in the movie room though... they did have a lot of free movies to watch!

The staff were helpful and the place was mellow. I enjoyed the TV room with many free movies to watch. The AC was broken though so it was super hot.

Very affordable and nice decor. In a great location for our preferences - away from the tacky bars and seediness the rest of Patong has to offer! Local restaurants were a really good price and the beach was a short walk away. All amenities a traveller could want also a shirt walk away (laundry, 7/11,tour providers). Strong wifi and spacious rooms - although very hard beds!Free coffee and utensils for making your own food, but no tea and very strong smelling plastic cups!We paid the hostel 500bht eachfor a transfer to Khoa Lak - would NOT recommend!! It costs 100bht for the local bus (which we were moved on to after a minivan picked us up from the hostel) and between 300 and 500bht for a taxi to the bus station in Phucket town. We felt ripped off at the end of an otherwise pleasant stay.

Loved this hostel even though it could be classed as a comfortable Hotel. Staff were great and it is a 500 m walk to the beach but we enjoyed stretching out legs after some great food or just hop on a tuk tuk if you are feeling lazy. But all in all a great place

Staff were brill, rooms clean, amenities/kitchen good to use for free coffee in the morning. Staff advised us as to how to get to places etc. Didn't meet many other hostel stayers though. 15 min walk to Bangla road (party road).

I spent 4 nights at Dfeel Hostel. To me, it seemed more like a 3 star hotel than hostel. Their double bed room is spacious albeit it lacked furniture. I had a balcony but didn't get to enjoy it as it didn't have any views, it was next a run down building. But it was very useful to dry my laundry since there wasn't a dryer in the building. My only gripe is the location, it is a good 20 minute walk to Patong beach and not much really to do in the hostel surroundings in terms of restaurants. They offer scooters for hire which is useful to get around. Wifi was non existent during my stay, had to always go down the lobby to be connected. Staff were amazing and helpful. The manager Mr. "O" always went out of his way to make sure that my day trips meet my expectations. He's also good in recommending where to eat/visit in town in case you run out of ideas. Overall, if you don't mind staying away from the beach/ night markets this is a great place to stay at.
