You get what you pay for. Basic room, worn out bed, thin walls, etc. The full spa experience is offered at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort (for a higher price). Everyone else has to use the public hot spring pool (run by the resort). Harrison Hot Springs is small, so you're close to many restaurants and a little shopping no matter where you stay.

Hotel is within walking distance to the lake & restaurants. It has a nice view of the mountain on the back as well. In the morning, you could enjoy coffee on the balcony. No breakfast in the motel but the burger restaurant downstairs offers good breakfast. Parking is super easy to find.
My only concern is some of the bathroom tiles were broken and not fixed. We accidentally kicked it on the way in & out and also making it hard to close the door of because they would pop out.

Location fantastic and very short walk to everything.

The folks at checkin were great, they offered a discount for the restaurant next door. Had to pay extra for parking. We ended up in a 2 bedroom and really only needed one. The bed was soft but the whole thing jiggled when one of us rolled over. The bathroom and linens were clean. The room smelled a bit stale. Overall a reasonably comfortable night that met our needs, we would probably stay there again. Affordable.

Its a little dirty ever where, dont look behind the night stand or bed. We took the light weight blankets that were on the ends of the bed and put them on the desk, they were dirty. The blinds were broken, only curtains on one window. I can only guess but
i would say this motel is the last of the original motels from the 1950s. Downstairs is a restaurant that opens at 7am so staff arrived at 6:15, am. If you have any issues with odor from the old carpet or food smell. This is not for you. I believe its been a long summer for the staff. This was a nostalgic stay for me. I have photos but it seems i am unable to post them. Right beside this motel is a new condo build. 5$ to park on motel property when you stay there.

The proximity to all amenities was great. Lots of culinary choices for dining nearby (all walkable). The attached restaurant had excellent food and included a discount which was a nice surprise. It was a relaxing couple of days…would return!

My family stats here every winter an again every summer an haven’t ever had a notable bad experience

Love staying here. Wish the rooms were updated or in better condition though

Smoking area right outside "family suite", staff trailer/weed centre directly across, white doors/trim all filthy, no blankets/pillows for sofa bed, very limited parking (if you're lucky) an extra charge. Nickle and dime you for everything. Paid $380 for what I'd consider an $80 value, and that's a stretch. Go to hotels on either side which look cleaner.

Great place for price

The bath tub had no rubber mat. When I turned on the shower the tub surface was so slippery my feet gave way
and I fell hitiing my head on the the hard tile floor. A large swelling developed on my upper forehead. We applied ice to reduce the swelling and pain.

it is definitely an older building, but the view was spectacular and the staff was amazing. It was right at the beach and walkable to everything. I slept really well and the air conditioner worked really well thank goodness.

For the price the property was fair. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Fridge door didn’t close properly and somethings in the room need slight repair or replacement.

Excellent value. We had a kitchen, two queen beds, a balcony and we were right at the waterfront! It was clean, there are a few cosmetic/ finishing issues. Would be an excellent place for a family to stay a few days as it is really a studio apartment. We were just passing through on our road trip and it served us well.

Older motel in great location.

The room was filthy, the appliances didn't work, the fridge door didn't close, the lights flickered constantly, or didn't turn on at all. Then our shoes were stolen from our front door, and we were told they'd "look at the camera" but never heard a single thing.

The location can’t be beat, steps to the beach. Hotel was very clean. Value was good when comparing to other hotels in town. Our room was above the restaurant and we couldn’t hear it. It was in need of updating but more importantly some repairs, the tile on our bathroom floor was smashed which was a bit worrying if any pieces were to come loose and cut our feet.

Family size room was right next to a smoking area. Not all the burners on the stove worked. No air conditioning in separate bedroom, found ants in the main room. Way too expensive for this type of hotel. Dining chairs wobbly. Furniture was old, cupboards didn't close. Charged an additional $5 for parking. Not recommended.

The staff at this beautiful, older motel are excellent. It’s right by the lake, so convenient, plenty of food options nearby. The suite is clean and easily housed our family of 5(teenagers included). A great experience and we would go back there again!

Do not book this hotel, unless maybe you are a smoker. We were given a nonsmoking room and it smelled soo badly of cigarette smoke. The room was not as pictured. The place looks like it is falling down and everything is dated. They charge extra for parking. We had to leave. It was soo gross. The door security lock was broken. I would rather take the loss of money than stay there one night.

The location of the Spa motel was excellent, right across the street from the park and lakeshore. The room was clean but the motel itself really needs some updating. The ceilings are thin; the front doors are in need of replacement . You can see they have tried hard to keep up by adding some new accessories. Check-in and check-out were remarkably quick .
