Conveniently located right across from the railway tracks and Transcanada highway the Stoke allows you to enjoy the sounds of both freight trains and semi trucks all night long. The multi coloured carpets are a deep pile which effectively absorb all manor of spills and smells. We’ll positioned close to both a Denny’s and McDonalds for excellent dining options. Vintage beds are a nice touch.

The hotel was convenient for our needs for just a two night stay. It was a fairly small room, but it was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking even though they were fully booked. Breakfast was OK, not up to the "excellent" reviews I had seen. But staff were nice and it was pretty quiet. Some have said the train was really loud, but they must have had way better hearing than me. It's across the river and yes you can hear it, but it was not distruptive at all. Overall, this was fine for a short stay, but anything longer than 2 days would've felt very crowded, even with just two people.

This hotel is older and has been refreshed but still seems tired. Room 201 has one window, it is covered over because it opens into the maintenance stairwell where the lights are on all night. Overall I would say based on the quality it should have been at least $75-100 less a night.

Fine for an overnight pit stop but wouldn’t want to spend much longer here. The property itself seems a little tired and the photos definitely made it look better than it actually was. Our room had both an internal and an external door which didn’t feel the safest. It was also directly adjacent to one of the hotel exits which has a bright light that made it seem like daylight outside at midnight. On top of this we had the noise of the door slamming throughout the night and early in the morning. The room itself was clean and the breakfast was reasonable but we have had comfier stays at other hotels in Revelstoke.

The Hotel is located directly on Trans Canada highway and bridge with a bit of distance to town center . Our room was small, simple but clean and well maintained. The breakfast was above average and really good for this category of hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Beds were nice and the room was clean but it was SO noisy. Slamming doors felt like the ceiling was going to come down. The room shook when other doors were slammed. Wouldn't stay here again. Overpriced for what you get.

If you want to sleep this is not the best place…train very close by and runs frequently! The a/c is noisy and fairly useless. The room is clean. There’s decent water pressure in the shower however, the shower is made smaller by the shower curtain. Would benefit with a rounded shower curtain. There’s dog walking area in close proximity. The breakfast is tasty and substantial,

easy to access. Great breakfast. Staff were so helpful and super efficient. My daughter dropped her earring down the sink and the staff was able to retrieve it - AMAZING! Thank you so much! Breakfast was also a nice variety and there was so much to choose from. This place is great! would come again and highly recommend.

Breakfast server was very nice and the complimentary breakfast was passible. Room was a little worn down and the electrical sockets were very old and loose, items we needed to plug in would barely stay connected. Shower curtain rod was rested precariously on the shower walls. Pet friendliness is a huge plus.

The room was really clean and comfortable. The bed was soft and supportive with great pillows. The air conditioner was strong and effective. Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet as it had both hot and cold selections plus lots of bread options for toasting…great selection for everyone.

This was the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. It was clean but again only one place to sit. No room to even squeeze in another chair. What's up with hotels having only one chair per room these days? The free breakfast was good but the coffee wasn't even warm. I felt this place was not worth the price

Tired old overpriced fleabag hotel. The brand sign had been taken down. I had to put two tennis shoes on top of the blinds to stop them from rattling all night. The tiny air conditioning unit is barely accessible and his right next to the queen bed - you have to get on your hands and knees to try and adjust it and it blows air right into the bed and not the room. Room was not clean and was extremely overpriced. Breakfast was overcrowded and you had to wait in line for a half hour. You have no privacy and we had a Peeping Tom outside of our window when we opened the blind.

The noise!!! Oh my!! Was the bed comfy, yes but we were woken at about 6:30am to the thinderous herd of people going to the breakfast buffet. Followed by the obnoxious opening and closing of doors that either need to be shimmed properly or stripped before another layer of paint is put on, that causes sticking of the door to the frame. Then i heard someone urinating and passing gas. Really?! Above us was a family with kids, the parents tried their best to tell the kids to stop what they were doing (which i could make audible sounds of parental requests) but the jumping and pounding above our heads was a bit much. Families with young children should be on the first floor. Honeatly, I just wanted to get out of there it was utterly dissapointing. But the real kicker was to pull the cord on the roller blind, to an opaque bathroom style window. Upon opening the window, i wasnt greeted with the bright blue of a sky, nor the sounds of birds, or a fresh breeze. Nope, i was greeted by what looked to be the back storage room, that must have been behind the main office. The price of $236 tax= $276 for a night of rhat sort of environment is juat really disappointing. I get Revelatoke is expensive but this is one of those aitutions where "just because you can, doesn't mean you should." To the owners, I can see you are trying, I seen the merchandise in the foyer. It is all really charming but instead of putting anymore money towards the fluff - invest in insulation.

Tiny room with small windows so felt closed in but the worst part was the very loud air conditioner. Turning it off resulted in an unbearably hot room despite only being 22 degrees Celsius outside. Free breakfast was good. Would not stay here again.

Room was comfy and clean, but there is a lot of noise from the hallway. The room vibrates when people walk down the stairs. Better sound insulation would vastly improve the experience. On the other hand, the staff were all super friendly. Loved that there is a shuttle into downtown Revelstoke.
