Location of this hotel is in the heart of the historic center

The room was clean but the bathroom floor wasn’t sloped properly so taking a shower made the entire bathroom floor wet. It was a very small bathroom already. The building is very old and could use some love, but the location is super convenient for transit and sightseeing.

The rooms are lovely and big but the bathrooms are just so small but the big room makes up for it. the breakfast was very average it needs work on it. But overall a good and convenient place to stay and all staff were fabulous.

Not sure if I've got the wrong room but place looked really run down with carpets in the room. Pictures do not correspond to reality. Nice building but very poorly maintained and noisy. I won't rebook.

Location, hotel front desk lady Victoria was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and hotel had free water bottles, and tea and coffee in the room as well.

In the center of the city, good position .

Sound insulation is non existant. My room was next to reception, so could hear everything, even the hoovering in the room nextdoors. On Monday morning I was woken up at 5am as there was people dragging bins across the courtyard, then again at 6am, 7am and 8am for the same reason.
One of the windows had a curtain that was impossible to open, therefore the room was very dark.
The bathroom was separated by a wooden sliding door, that wasn't very smooth to operate. It had being stuck in the bathroom feelings.
Other than that the hotel is located on the main tourist street and next to metro line. Which makes it good for the location.
Personally I think that the hotel is overpriced for the service and quality they offer.

We had to change rooms, but it wasn't a problem as they gave us another room. We did have a slight issue with the safe, the staff were excellent in trying to solve the problem, but it could not be fixed, an alternative measure was given to us. A massive BIG thank you to Heni she was superb in giving us a lot of help in booking things and giving us her unbiased opinions in where to visit. Thank you Heni.

Nice hotel. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Good, central location to get around to local attractions, shopping, and dining.

Had a lovely few nights at the Thai Andrassy. It was exceptional value for the location. We had one of the simple twin rooms facing the inner courtyard. This hotel is a little quirky as it occupies part of an apartment block alongside a hostel & presumably privately owned apartments. The entrance can be a little tricky to spot from the street, but you enter into a gorgeous staircase with an original turn iof the century lift. We did not take any meals at the hotel, but we're given a discount voucher to use. There is an underground station directly in front & ample buses & trams running nearby. I would happily visit this hotel again.

This hotel was beautiful in the inside, and very close to local shops and restaurants. The elevator was kinda small so keep that in mind if traveling with a lot of bags

Service was very good. Staff was very very nice and gave excellent recommendations. The location is excellent m. Close to metro and tram stations and the Basilica. However, this was a very weird hotel. The Thai theming is….interesting. There was a giant step in our room to get up to the beds which was very annoying to go up and down, especially in the dark. The shower was awful. The grade in the bathroom did not go towards the drain and water got everywhere and I mean everywhere. Also not quiet at all, we heard sirens all night long from the busy street next to the hotel

The Hotel is at an excellent location in the heart of Budapest on Andrássy Street - a very short walk to the Opera, Zeneakadémia, St. Stephen's Basilica (home of the loveliest Christmas market) and Deák Square where you can get anywhere by Metro 1, 2 or 3 as well as by trams and the Express Airport bus 100E. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the kindest receptionist possible, she was knowledgeable and most helpful -big Thank You again! The room was clean, very spacious (which you do not always get in the city centre), complementary bottles of water, tea and coffee; bathroom clean with plenty of toiletries, good hair drier. I definitely recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Literally one of the BEST hotels I’ve stayed in. Centrally located near tram/ train/ bus at walking distance. Very quiet inside which I loved. The room was spacious with high ceilings, has everything you need- water, coffee, cute toiletries, good pressure of hot water, TV and check in and out was great and quick. Loved it!! Would definitely return

Overall an acceptable stay for the prime location and price. The room was largely clean with ok furniture and linens. A/c was great to have especially in the summer heat.
The bathroom however, had bobby pins on the floor on the shelf, I believe to be from the previous guest. The shower floor is on equal ground as the entire bathroom - so when you shower, the whole bathroom floor will be wet, including the toilet and sink area. Additionally, there was nothing to mount the showerhead to.
Ear plugs were provided on the bed, and unsurprisingly it's not a quiet area.
There's also quite a tall step, to get to the bed.

This hotel is in a perfect location for a visit to Budapest. The decor in the rooms is very unique. The AC is extremely effective and you can change the settings yourself. We had some very small issues with the housekeeping which the front desk staff quickly resolved. I felt very safe in the area and in terms of the hotel access and front desk supervision.

Room was extremely dirty with broken furniture's, entrance filled with garbage piles, no lightning in the staircase as well as the room being in a horrible state. Shower flooded the whole bathroom and the air conditioning did not work properly either. Compared to the pictures on hotels.com which they advertise it is nothing similar and looks more like a dump and false advertising. Staircase also filled with cigarette butts and bad smell.

The place is nice, cosy, on a good location and the stuff friendly. During the night is was super LOUD, from 10pm until 1am there was a person screaming every 1 minute, there were loud noises in the hallway and a few rooms away. I had to leave at 3am so I couldn't get any sleep whatsoever.
Also keep in mind that the elevator is tiny, and the same is used by personnel and they are in a hurry, I had 2 big suitcases struggled to fit them in the elevator and screamed at by someone working there.

Excellent location, excellent staff. For this price this hotel is worth checking out . I would say as of April 2023 it was under construction therefore the building was a bit messy and dark so mind your step . It’s an older building with high ceiling so if you like antique you will appreciate the dated elevator. I wouldn’t recommend for family will small children.

After reading all reviews I was a bit hesitant to make booking in this hotel, but gave up with a view. And I didn’t regret that. It wasn’t easy to find a hotel, since it’s located in old part of the city and you need to enter historical Budapest apartment complex. And from the first step you are getting into history. Hotel located on the 1st European floor, which is the 2nd floor. My room was specious, with new bathtub, and just a perfect view on Basilica with Christmas market. It wasn’t so noisy despite hotel located on one of the main streets of Budapest. Reception was also welcoming and helping me to get to my room. Wifi sometimes has poor signal though. Definitely will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Its a great place, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are nice and clean. Some rooms who turn out to balistica, can be a bit noisy in the day/night because of the traffic. As it can disturb you night sleep.
I been here before and will come back next time i visit budapest.

The location is 10/10 in the Andrassy avenue, the comfort of the beds was really good. We weren’t a fan of the fishy entrance! The hotel has no appropriate entrance, the reception is at the first floor of a normal building! Where you had to enter through 2 main huge doors in a very old building and go up to the first floor to finally find the lobby in an apartment!! The front desk urged us to checkout at 11am instead of the normal time of 12pm, which we didn’t like.

The hotel is in a great location, it is a little tricky to find but the instructions from the hotel are good. When I arrived there was an issue with my bank card when trying to make my payment, granted it was my fault but after a long and stressful day of travel I wanted to have a shower and fresh up and then go out and withdraw money from the cash machine to pay the hotel. The hotel had all my details from booking through this site but they were a extremely reluctant to let me go into the room until I had paid, after showing my frustration they eventually let me in but I had to leave one of my bank cards as security. This incident was not the best of starts to my stay.
The room was cleaned really well however I could not locate milk for tea/coffee but the tea and coffee were in the room along with complementary bottled water which was topped up upon cleaning. I could not locate shower gell albeit shampoo was provided.
The shower was in the bath and there was no shower curtain so water went everywhere, the shower was also not functioning properly and it took longer than it should to get the hot water.
My air conditioning was brilliant but the air conditioning in my friends room was broke.

If i came back to Budapest i would stay here. The price is reasonable, its brilliantly positioned. The bed was comfy. We stayed in room 201 and got a huge balcony. Good aircon, well placed tv. Coffee making facilities, and a free water each every day.

Was a bit difficult to check in. But with little help i found out check in was on 1 floor.
Staff was very friendly. My room 207 was just what i needed. Very nice big bed and very good bathroom facilities with shower and bathtube to choose from.
I even had a small balkon, who i atually enjoyed even no chair to sit on.
I had booked 2 days., but enden up stay this hotel on dame room all 5 days i stayed hete in Budapest. Only small minus was cleaning ladies have cleaning stuff/room nearby, and they do talk alot lol.else im happy for my stay and would come back anothet time.
There is a nice Thai restaurant and Italian restaurant just beside hotel. Short walk distance to coffee shops and so on.
