Great location in Reykjavik. Short walking distance to the water front and Laugavegur Street where shops and restaurants are located. Also bus stop 12 is right outside the hotel so it’s very convenient for pick up and drop off for tours etc

The room was comfortable and the views to the sea were awesome, though blocked a little by salt stains on the windows. The personnel in the hotel were very helpful. The breakfast had everything I wanted and more. The location was great. I like to take the stairs where possible and found a way to do so also at this hotel but the way was not very clearly marked - something to consider for sustainability and decreasing waiting times for lifts.

Beautiful view of the water. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was in walking distance within shopping center and downtown. Also, incredible thrift store across the street, if you like thrifting.
4.5
This hotel was wonderful! The excellent staff helped us book tours and get taxis. We had a great view of the harbor. The Beer Garden was the best! Great food and a relaxing and comfortable setting.
4.5
We had a nice stay but the location was too far away from downtown and points of interest. Walking in the bad weather was not an option and taxis are very expensive in Reykyavik. Room price was very reasonable for the class of hotel.
4.5
The rooms were quite small and the walls are quiet thin so you can hear the rooms next door as well ones above you.
There’s also no AC in the rooms and it got so hot at night that we had to open the windows.
The location is great but the parking at the hotel isn’t free and relatively expensive.
4.5
The hotel is very good, although the 3rd bed in the family room was very uncomfortable camping style bed which I was not excepting in a 4* especially that I paid for a family room, therefore the 3rd bed wasn't an addition,
it is part of the room set up. Unfortunately some staff are poorly trained and one of the receptionists exceptionally rude. Manager was very helpful and responsive.
The food was good and the hotel is in a great area for the main stree and the harbour. The beer garden has wonderful decor and grwat food.

Very convenient location to explore Reykjavik and the surrounding areas. Bust stop just outside the hotel. Staff was generally helpful and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. Washrooms in the lobby area were not as clean. Breakfast had a good variety of meals. Overall, it’s a very good option.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights prior to boarding a cruise ship. We found the employees to be very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious

Great location and value. The beer garden and breakfast buffet were out standing. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Right next to the city center and action so I could easily walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. Next to bus stop to the airport and Hop on Hop off tour bus stop. Great views also. I was traveling for business and was able to work comfortably in the hotel room and get online.

Loved the heated floor in the bathroom, big pillows and ability to open windows for fresh air. The room was spotless.

I stayed in 10 different hotels in Iceland and this one was by far the worst one. The customer serice is terrible and the property conditions is bad. The shower drain was clogged and the water didn't go down the drain, they flodded the bathroom and wend into the room, Ibhad to stop the shower in the middle and called the reception, it took them a very long time to come up, and when they did, the women was rude and unpleasant. They didn't agree to change the room, instead, they tried to fix the problemband it only helped a little bit. We missed our restaurant reservation because of this.
On top of this, the rooms are not sound proof, we could hear every little step they took in the room above us, and also the curtains were not light proof which is a big problem in iceland where there is always light in the summer.
The parking in the hotel is ridiculously expensive, and they dont even bother to mention thus to the guests, when asked the reception for an alternalternative, they showed up other expensive options, they did not mention that 2 minutes walk from the hotel there is a free parking in the street.
The overall condition of the room was pretty worned out and even the cocktails at the bar were terrible. If you are looking for a nice stay in Reykjavik, STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

We spent just one night and day in Iceland.
The staff were so patient with great suggestions of what to do to make every moment memorable.
Friendly, professional and efficient staff.

Excellent hotel. Front desk was exceptional. Id definitely stay again and recommend to others. Magda or Marta at front desk was truly fantastic. Loved the breakfast. Great location.
4.5
Property was dirty around the edges (e.g., floor, edges around a lot of wood furniture). You can hear neighbor above. Only instant coffee provided. I don't think this is a 9 point property, more like 7 to 8. Check-in agent exceptionally good.

Everything was great! Room was spacious, good service, food options nearby.

Lovely large room with a large bathroom, comfortable bed.
Good breakfast with a large variety of options.
Central location.
4.5
Great location to get out and about and to use the bus stop pick up for excursions. Room comfortable and clean. Staff all friendly and helpful.
I would have given 5 * but the food at the buffet breakfast and evening meal was lukewarm at best. If this was improved it would be five stars all the way
4.5
Great little find. Easy walk to the heart of Reykjavik. Close walk for water activities. Convenient drive. Highly recommend.

This was an ok stay for our last 2 nights in Iceland. We had to go back to reception to get the correct room. The location is a little bit far from places but still walkable.

Restaurant closes too soon.
