This was our second time staying here and it was just as amazing as the last time we stayed. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the food was great.
4.7
The property is right in front of Lake Kawaguchi and the room was spacious with a western-style bedroom and a Japanese tatami room. It came with an in-room sauna. We also enjoyed a private onsen with a Mt. Fuji view. Highly recommended place to stay. Staff members are friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Close enough to shrines and activities.
4.7
Beautiful by the lake, our room was spacious and felt like we were getting our money’s worth. Breakfast buffet had a very large selection and everything was well made.
4.7
This half board stay was unbelievable. Started with being shown our rooms and offered tea while our host explained services. We booked time in the private onsen and had our dinner in our room. Onsen and rooftop footbaths were tranquil and calm. Perfect for an escape from a busy trip and time to relax. Service was spectacular from start to finish. They also can pick you up or drop you off at the train/bus depot (otherwise 10-15 minute walk if you luggage).

The staff and level of hospitality was incredible. We have stayed in many hotels across the globe over the years and the hospitality of all the staff was one of the best experiences we have ever had.
The staff were very attentive, friendly, warm and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We were collected from the station within minutes of our arrival and the staff also helped us with finding suitable routes for our onward travel to get the Shinkansen. They also made our transition to our next hotel seamless, where we would have struggled otherwise. They were very responsive to our emails and also with our meal. They made our experience perfect on every level.
We wish we had more days with Konansou.
We hope to visit again soon!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Good Service for every staffs and also the shuttle bus always for service

Loved this property and our stay in a room with lake view and open air bath in room. We opted for the half board so we enjoyed their breakfast buffet and nightly Kaiseki dinner, which was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server, Nobuyuki, was so helpful and polite in carefully taking the time to explain each dish to us. The hotel staff were all helpful and professional, with english speaking staff available. Hotel is situated right in the lake and conveniently located to shops, restaurants, bus, within 10 mi walk to train station. They also have a shuttle to the train station. The roof top had a foot bath with a beautiful view of the lake and Fuji san. Hotel has all amenities such as spa, room service, daily housekeeping, etc. Free coffee and tea in the lounge area is also available. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would stay here again!

The view was Amazing, and the staff were the best I’ve had in Japan. You get what you pay for and this was great. I could see my Fuji from my room.
4.7
Great accomodation
4.7
Far better than my expectation, the service is excellent. Will choose this hotel next time
4.7
Worth every cent paid for the 2 nights stay. Room and sevice was above expectation and keiseki meals were comparable to high end restaurants and a lot of privacy with the option to have it in the room. Strongly recommended!!
4.7
Beautiful resort. Good breakfast food. Amazing onsen.
4.7
Great way to experience Japanese culture in a beautiful location. Accommodation was spectacular.
4.7
That's the best hotel I have ever been. The service was exceptional. Very friendly, treated every guest like a king. The best was the onsen in the room. We enjoyed also really the public onsen. I would come anytime again.
4.7
A lovely unique experience. We were exceptionally well looked after from arrival to departure. Would definitely recommend and also revisit.
4.7
We were able to stay in a Mt Fuji view room with a private onsen and it was amazing! The staff was very helpful and kind. All were able to speak English so there was no fear of a language barrier. We would highly recommend everyone to stay here when visiting Fujikawaguchiko!
4.7
The kaiseki dinner was excellent. The breakfast buffet was good but nothing very special.
Service is excellent overall
4.7
Great hotel, exceeding expectations. The in-room dinner was very good with incredible service. The rooftop views of Fuji are excellent.
4.7
The hotel room is clean. Staff are professional.
4.7
Nice view
4.7
If you want a traditional Japanese hotel experience with amazing food and lovely surroundings this is certainly a place to go. Not the cheapest but the in-room dinner dining experience is incredible and if you get a room with a private onsen then it is the perfect way to relax.
4.7
The most amazing part of our trip. Highly recommend getting a room with the private bath and the half board (dinner was exceptional)

The staff at this ryokan really made our stay enjoyable. They were all very kind and helpful. Then public baths were always spotless and clean. I greatly enjoyed my time here.
4.7
great service, great food, great view, perfect hot spring.
4.7
The staff are nice and helpful. A good place to relax and enjoy holidays, but the price a little bit high.
4.7
The staff are so nice and the room is incredible! We will definitely come back! See you!

Stayed 2 nights with family of 3 in large japanese room. Very spacious and clean. Nice lake view. Love this ryokan with very grand yet traditional feel. Love the indoor onsen with Mt Fuji view. It has 1big pool, 1jacuzzi, and 4 individual pools. The outdoor onsen water is not hot enough though. It has nice resting area and 2 massage chairs in another room to relax. Offer free ice cream too! The bkf is buffet style with wide selection of food. Dinner is Keiseki with very well spread and high quality. This ryokan is also well located and close proximity to ropeway and many souvenir shops and eateries. Well recommended

Ryokan experience was great
4.7
out of our expectation, as i first wonder to book other resort which can facing Mt. Fuji but it was not easy to book so i finally booked here with Mt. Fuji view room, which was surprise as the room are modern clean , tidy and bright. our butler are super nice and try to communicate with us event she said not speak English. the public Bath are big and clean, tidy, but we got our own onsen in room, so we don't have time to experience it. my husband keep saying will come back and stay again. overall are nice just a bit deduce point was when we check out seem no concierge colleagues around to assist us for the luggage, we was checking out at 10 am which was the official hotel check out time.
4.7
The staff is excellent, facilities excellent, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was supreme but unfortunately we were not able to reserve dinner during our stay. The local food options are a bit limited after 5 pm so be aware that your walking food options are small
4.7
Superb location, Perfect view, Spacious and comfortable!
4.7
The in-room Kaiseki dinner was excellent and above expectation. The buffet breakfast had some nice dishes but also some underwhelming/bad ones too. Love that Konansou is close enough to train/bus station (nice-ish walk in day time for first time visitors with Google Map help) and a Lawson steps away. Would totally stay here again!
4.7
Great location and friendly staff
A bit challenge to communicate in English
Hotel is aged but well maintained
Dinner is good but the English menu is a bit disappointing
There is no details about each dish
Doesn’t give you an opportunity to learn the cuisine
On the day of check in
We found a bug in the room
4.7
Hotel provides free shuttle service to the main train station. We had the room with lake view and it is good. Even though the traditional japanese room had futons instead of bedding, they are surprisingly comfortable and we had a good night rest. Amenities were also great
4.7
Good service. Half-board is a must have to experience the Japanese style dinner. Staffs are very helpful.
4.7
It was a wonderful trip for my stay. My room could view the lake entirely and also got a hot spring tube in my room! It was a very private way to enjoy the hot spring with the lake view :)
Highly recommend the hotel and appreciate the services from staff !!
4.7

A must to do during your trip in Japan!
