Constant running in the halls all night long. Someone had music blasting until 4 am. Beds are not comfortable. The toilet wouldn’t stop running. And the counters and sink were dirty. Only ok part was the water park.

There wasn't an on sight employee to talk to. However, when I had a problem, I called the main office and they immediately fixed the problem. Would stay again. So much bang for your buck.

The hotel was basic but taken care of. It was convenient to reataurants and about everything a family could need. The absolute worse part was the incredibly rude person who checked us in. He heted his job and all the customers who support him. Will never stay at this property again when we go back.

Mattresses were horrible. Uncomfortable large springs made loud noises with every move. I asked a worker for fresh towels who was carrying in towels. I held the door for them. They said we are having trouble keeping up with laundry. Hotel had no amenities & was off the beaten path. The caulk in the shower had brown areas. The cables under the nightstand were coated heavily with dust. The room was on the 1st floor & the windows were not secured. The people above us were pounding on the floor & walls constantly. There didn’t seem to be security or a contact point at the building. Water park is decent but lines are too long. I won’t be using these so called resorts again.

The main check in building is great until you get sent to the hotel! Our bathtub was cracked and we couldn’t flush the toilet at 7am. The lights went out in the bathroom when my little one was taking a bath. We called 0 for room service like it said in the text I got and then the lady said we don’t do room service while you stay. Found bugs under garbages. Overal gross!

The resort was about quantity of people they could get in and out. The room was in need of updates and it was too far from the theme park or any amenities. The balcony had no furnishings and was full of spiderwebs and spiders. Overall if you just cared about the Waterpark and rides it was fine.

My family stayed at the resort on 8/10/24 to 8/12/24. We called room service at on 811/24 @ 9am in the morning for extra towels and tissue for the bathroom, they never brought either of them. When got back to the room that night we had to go to the main office to complain and get the towels and tissue. We had 3 rooms and the morning of our departure we discovered bed bugs in one of our rooms. My nephew and my friend son was bitten all over their bodies. We were told that we would be refunded our total stay, our room and cabana rental would be refunded to my account. I called the hotel quit a few time and no one will call me back. I was refunded to room rental but not the cabana fee. We will never return to this hotel ever again. The staff's attitude is very bad and they all seem angry and tired of the people asking questions or needing assistance.

Check in is a nightmare; at an outer building no where near the actual hotel and reminded of us of being stuck at an airport with crazy lines and screaming kids everywhere. Check your key packet as they forgot to even put my keys or parking pass in mine when they gave it to me; some poor guy at the resort didn't realize same had happened to him until he got there. Basically no staff on sight except housekeeping, life guards or maintenance so if you have a problem they can't help you. The positive- the place was clean and other guests were very friendly; but that isn't enough to make me come back. We had fun but not enough to stay again.

Check in was terrible, unfriendly, non caring. Room key not working after driving to building (wiich was not very close to check in or pools) We were without explanation moved into another building. Beds are uncomfortable, rooms are minimal and not inviting. Gave a review and got a call at 10:30pm to talk about why a negative review. 10:30 pm really? I said we settled down trying to sleep. They said they’d call back next day. Never called us back. Upon check we’re told park was open till10pm..However, did not let us know swimming is done way earlier. After all the check in problems we did not make it to pool till after 6pm. We were to be told swimming is done at 6. To come back the next day at10 am.Will not recommend this place, will not return.

We stayed one night on the way to Chicago. Possibly would have been better had we stayed another night to use the waterpark. Desk clerk at main check in gave us wrong floor/door info. Address listed for bldg 10 let us on a wild goose chase and map they provide doesnt have road or street names. Room smelled of food, hardly any toilet paper and no one to contact at that bldg for more. Beds are squeaky and worn out. Faucet hot and cold were opposite. Building is not secure, anyone can walk in and lots of shady characters in parking lot. The worst part was check in is at 4, then had to find our building, find how to get to waterpark and then got there only to find out it closes at 645 pm. Only got to go on 3 slides. A lost child came up to our family and 2 staff members were not concerned and unhelpful. Luckily, we were able to calm the child and the family located him with us. Back at hotel there is no pool. Indoor waterpark is only open Sept-May.

I was disappointed staying at this place, since their Water Park and amusement park looks awesome! We stayed at Building 10 with my family. Paid almost $400 for one Sat nite stay. It's a glorified MOTEL room. A lot of sketchy people hanging outside the building. The address that was given on the instruction sheet was not the correct one. The entrance to the Water Pak was confusing if you don't see the ONE sign to go around the back, behind 2 specific bulidngs even when we called the hotel, the directions given was still wrong. The most Outrageous thing was getting a towel. It is one per person, which was fine, but you had to be present to get the towel. I PLEADED with the towel person that I have a 1 year old and a 4 yr old, first time at this place and they told me that they have to be there to pick their own towel. A 1 YR OLD!! has to pick up his own towel. I will not be staying here again. Kalahari resort was a better experience all around for all of us. We will be staying there in the future.

We were given the wrong door to go in for our room. The room still had garbage from the previous people, but overall was on ok condition. Waterpark and amusement park were fun. The hotel itself was mildly maintained, hallways were dirty almost everywhere. I would still recommend to stay as it’s close to the park and you need to make sure you pick hotel rome to be close, otherwise you will be off site

Very minimalist room, but has the basics: beds with bedding, AC, small fridge, microwave. in a dorm like setting. Room number 20,000 something. The buildings can be pretty far from the water park. The check in is at a different location. On the plus side: the deal is unbelievable for $157 total we, tge family of 3, had two full days at the water park and amusement park, plus a room to sleep, the beds were comfortable, neighbors were no trouble. Breakfast was not included but there are many options walking distance from the building. Kids loved it! We will be coming back.

For the most part, we had a wonderful stay. We stayed in building 1 (Hotel Rome) Having to go to a seperate building off site for check in was a bit of a pain but we managed. The room was clean but the bathroom was nothing special. Shower wasnt draining well so once we showered we would have to wash our feet due to standing in the dirty water not draining fast enough. The toilet was pretty small so I felt like I was practically falling down when trying to sit. They do respect your privacy during your stay and not enter your room unless asked to. A simple text and we had fresh towels delivered so that was nice. The wristband was also our room key and how we could pay for stuff throughout the park and that was a great feature! No more having to carry a room key, credit card, etc... Our first night we had some very noisy neighbors till after 1 a.m. so we were quite irritated with that. The security did offer to handle it if it became an issue again (it didn't) Overall, it was a fun little getaway. I would recommend to others. Maybe an added feature for those staying in their resorts would be nice. Seemed really crowded with people only visiting the park, which I understand but a special perk for those of us rooming there wouldve been great.

Nothing is free as their slogan is stay and play for free. You find out when you book the room that even parking is not free if you don't play almost everyday you have wasted your money. I was excited to soak in a hot tub while the kids played but the indoor park, where the hot tub is, was closed. So, also nowhere to swim if it rains. The beds were horrible, lumpy, squeaky, and stains on sheets. Wooden floors that your feet stuck to barefoot. There was no TV information as to the call stations of channels so we had to figure it out. Disappointing.

Our room was in a “ renovated” motel and the quality did not match the price. The park was so busy; it seems like it was oversold. To go on a water slide, there was a 1-2 hours of wait times due to super long lines.

For starters having employees at 11:30p.m. Or later right underneath our room yelling and singing a there loud music playing is extremely rude. Checking in was about the worst possible way to start. Having to drive off the property to the end of town. There wasn’t any information ever about that. Our bed was extremely broken down we couldn’t get a good nights rest. As big of a resort and you claim to be the lack of maintenance and upkeep is very evident. The second day there we found broken glass in the parking lot. And later that night we found four large nails. Our last day there was an absolute joke. Extremely over crowded in the swimming area. How someone hasn’t died yet is a miracle. We rode the go carts and people had said as they got out of there carts that there brakes where not working properly or even at all. We actually watched a kids come in the parking area very quickly and couldn’t stop then slammed into the cart in front of him then pushed two more carts forward. I was under the impression this resort was one of the best places to stay at in Wisconsin Dells. That is the biggest lie ever. This company all get someone killed if they continue to operate in this state. Give us one good reason why we should ever return to your resort.

Great deal to stay and get the water park and amusement park tickets complementry. Only thing to know is the check in desk is very far from the water park and the actual hotel. Properties are very spread out. Was not an issue as we had a car, but please consider this if you don’t. We had a wonderful time and thought it was a great deal.

I like how everything is the same are of the resort. What we didnt like is that the tv didnt work at all in our room, and the the beds where very squicky and old. You could feel the springs and the wood also the room had a bad smell to it. Alsi everything closes to early.

Rooms were pretty basic but clean. Beds were awful. Worth the money for the access to the park. Facilities were clean and well kept. Plenty to do in the area. Kids loved it which is the main thing. Staff was helpful and friendly.
