Hotel Bethel is on the Nyhavn part of Copenhagen, which was perfect for my wife and I. Short walk from the city metro train, we found the attractions we wanted to be within walking distance. Cost of this hotel is quite reasonable, especially when compared to others in the area.
Highly recommended!

A great stay in the centre of Nyhavn.
Very nice hotel with a spacious and comfortable room.
Very friendly staff

Staff is very friendly. Room is on the small side but well appointed. It’s a historic hotel. They have a hallway with pictures and words to tell the story. Only negative is the hair dryer. I hated that hair dryer. You have to depress the grip to operate it which forced my non dominant hand to grip it in a way I wouldn’t ordinarily. If you have arthritis it would be almost impossible. And you’ll have to bring your own hair conditioner. But I really liked my stay overall. And the room was very quiet which is nice because we were on the first floor. Nyhavn is a noisy place but we could barely hear anything

Perfect location for seeing the sights and with the Metro being a 5 minute walk getting to and from the airport was so easy. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was small but since we were out and about most of the time it hardly mattered. It would have been helpful with hair drying and makeup if there had been a mirror in the actual room rather than just one in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and although there isn’t tea and coffee facilities in the bedrooms there was free coffee and tea available all day in the sitting area off reception. A great value hotel.

Great location - beautiful views of the colorful buildings across the canal. Our corner room was comfy, clean and spacious and as an added bonus we had a balcony. Due to our location on the canal, the dining options are felt very touristy. We opted to go outside a bit for dinner. But it was great for getting coffee and pastries in the morning. Also walking distance to most sightseeing locations. The amenities in the rooms was a little sparse - shampoo and body wash only; no conditioner or body lotion.

Staff incredible Location great although imagine it would be very crowded and lively during peak season

Great location with helpful staff. We had the smaller 2 twin room but it was more than enough space for us 2.

Smallish room in great location. Simple bathroom but the bed was superbly comfortable. Breakfast was good. View of Nyhavn was nice. Service was just good. Around 10 mins walk from metro

Great location, close to amenities and public transport. Hotel was great, not huge room but it was clean and comfortable and perfect for our one night stay.
2.5
Fantastic location and friendly staff. Perfect for first time in Copenhagen. Beds were comfortable and a good breakfast. The only thing I would have liked was air conditioning as it was 25c while we were there and humid. The room did have a fan.

Amazing hotel infront of the famous Nyhavn landmark. Perfect location, beautiful hotel, we had quiet night since our room is facing the courtyard. Safe as well. Would like to stay again.

Perfect location right along the canal. We booked the superior deluxe double room with a canal view. There is a thin balcony that wraps around the room with great views. I think there is only one room that has this. There is only one chair that fits on the balcony though. A second chair would have been nice. Room is a decent size. Bed was comfortable. There is no A/C. A small fan is provided. We experienced some street noise 2 of the 3 nights we stayed there though that woke us up although for the most part it was quiet after midnight. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

The staff upon arrival were very friendly and informative.
The room is very clean as is the bathroom, the bed was very comfortable.
The area immediately surrounding the hotel is very picturesque with lots to see and do.
It is really close and centered to many of the things worth visiting.

This hotel was such a let down. It was so loud we didn’t really sleep. We could hear any and all neighbors as well as the trash movement starting at 6am. Would never stay here again. The rooms are too small with no air other than opening the windows. The layout of the building also makes it challenging to even get to the rooms. Would not stay again

All good, but no air conditioner in room. But if you keep open windows it bit noisy.

Great location and nice hotel. Breakfast was nice. I would recommend getting it.

Great location and close to metro. Walked to all the local restaurants in the Nyhavn area and enjoyed to colorful scenery. Could have used air conditioning on a hot August night, but that was a rare event.

Overall a brilliant little hotel in a great location. Family room was actually two rooms which was nice.
Two small gripes but these wouldn’t stop me booking again; we were woken very early in the morning with delivery carts/trollies being pulled over the cobbles. There was also no allergy information provided for the breakfast, which meant avoiding dairy was more challenging. However great breakfast for those with no intolerances / allergies

The hotel Bethel is centrally situated with easy access to canal cruises, bus trips, shopping, museums, restaurants. The hotel is clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff who assist you with everything you could need. The area is safe and easy to walk and navigate around.

Hotel Bethel provides a perfect location for experiencing Copenhagen. The historic property is in excellent condition, very clean and the front desk staff were so helpful and accommodating. As an added bonus, the double windows of our room opened and offered an incredible view of all the activities of Nyhavn.

The hotel is right in the heart of Nyhavn, the picturesque canal area of the city. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The canal tours are right next to the hotel. It’s walkable to many of the attractions like Amalienborg, King’s Garden, Rosenberg Slot, Round Tower, the Christianshavn Freetown, etc.. The front desk is nice and the room is clean.

Hotel Bethel is a gem of a property. It is in beautiful Nyhavn with views out our window that were breathtaking. We requested a room with a view of the canal and we received one where we opened our windows and hung out them for photo opportunities of the colorful, gorgeous buildings of Nyhavn. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast also had a variety of great food and beverages with a friendly and accommodating host. I’d highly recommend a stay at Hotel Bethel!

Loved staying in such a historic and colorful harbor area. Easy walking to Hop On bus stop, canal boat tours, restaurants and walking to a street food area. A little busy due to its location to attractions, but overall the hotel is in a very enjoyable area. For those who expect A/C in their room, the Hotel does not have it, but the room had an electric fan and the weather was cool at night, so I was very comfortable.

Amazing location. Great walking to everything. To be honest though, I’m not sure there’s really a bad location in all of Copenhagen if you’re ok walking a mile or so. And you MUST walk this city because it’s amazing - or get a bike - amazing bike lanes everywhere. The bathrooms and showers in this hotel were TINY and the rooms are small too but it worked. Clean and great location.

Nice place, good location.

The hotel is in a terrific location, which is a double edge sword. It's right on one of the canals, however our room faced one of the major streets which at night was VERY LOUD and since it was summer we needed to keep the window open. Drunk people at 3:00 in the morning is not what you want to hear. Other than that, it was a good stay.

The location is the best!
