Such a positive experience! It felt more like a boutique hotel. I was traveling alone and felt really safe. The hostel was clean, even showers and bathrooms. The breakfast was tremendous considering it was only $2 extra, highly recommend. Would absolutely stay again!

They don't accept guests over 40, but they don't mention it in the announcement - they talk about it at check-in. A very specific sense of humor of service.
It smells of urine at the door.

Good places to say, nice large storage and beds.
Check experience sucked, almost left.

Reception is not 24h as advertised. Bracelet key stopped working in the middle of the night, reception was empty and after calling the emergency number a dozen times to no avail, I had to sleep on the reception couch not feeling very safe. Don’t plan to use the luggage room or you will risk having no one to let you get your luggage back if you plan to visit something or check out early in the morning. The beds and facilities were otherwise clean and the staff was amicable. The hostel itself is a little far from the nearest station and further away from the center, especially if you plan on going everywhere on foot.

Comfortable stay; cosy common room & friendly staffs. Location is uphill so was difficult for backpackers to walk up.

Comfortable but small and quiet hostel close to Gaudi park.

This is a lovely hostel just outside of the most busy parts of the city. Very close to Parc Güell, and a 20 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia. A bus-stop very close by, and the Metro station Lesseps 5 minutes away by foot.
The hostel has a kitchen area with pots and pans, a microwave oven, and a large fridge where you can store your groceries.
The rooms consist of pods, each bed is isolated with curtains, very cozy. Inside the pod you have a small shelf, an electric socket and a reading lamp. Underneath the bed is also a big storage box which can be locked using a padlock (bring your own, the padlock is not included).
Instead of a key or keycard for your room, you get a bracelet with a tag inside. Excellent, you won't lose your key!
It is a great hostel, wonderful staff. This was my third stay at this hostel, and will come again next time I go to Barcelona!

I love the way they value privacy where the beds have private curtains. It is a smaller facility that there is not too many people that it is more quiet than other hostels. The staff were great!

Great staff! To be honest the bed linen was quite old, but clean. The room has air conditioner so very cool I love it. Kitchen also very old but it doesn’t matter to use it. I used washing machine and dryer as a good price.

Perhaps the best place ti stay in Barcelona. Near to many food options, place was clean and was just a 10 mins walk away from the 2 nearest metro station. People from around the world come to this hostel to mingle with each other, people were nice and amiable and i made a few friends in this hostel too! Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Barcelona!

I’ve stayed in many hostels and this one is just okay. It felt like it was a super quite library. Tight spaces.
Yes it’s not a party hostel nor should it be a “whisper” hostel either.
The kitchen was in the basement and super hot. But it is a fully equipped kitchen if that’s what you would like and with a full size catering one door fridge.
I didn’t feel comfortable sitting in the lounge because it felt like I had to buy a drink or pastures from their display.
Pro: If you want to stay near a quite area and close to Park Guell...

Nice, comfortable, common area fine except not enough outlets to charge while there eating, furniture probably original and could be updated as it hurts to sit in any of the setees or chairs.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Everything is within walking distance. I also enjoyed how the beds have a curtains, light and an electrical outlet. The storage locker was a great as well. The its large enough to store luggage. I would definitely stay at this hostel again. The cons are the washer and dyer did not work while I was there. The otherwise great place to stay.

I enjoyed the privacy and convenience of the pod beds with curtains, lights, a shelf and a power point. However with the curtains drawn it did get quite hot. I was on the top bunk and at 5"3 I could only just sit upright in the bed. Breakfast options were poor - tea, coffee etc and only sweet options to eat (cake, muffins, cookies - not really breakfast food in Mymensingh opinion). However as I was only there for 2 nights it was not worth purchasing food and using the kitchen. Kitchen had a microwave and stove top but no oven. Overall this stay was pretty good.

factory house hostel was the best hotel in our trip!!! we went 3 other different countries, but here was totally amazing and comfortable. but i would say that if there were thick bedding here was much better. we felt cozy while sleeping. however other than that, it was totally perfect. people were nice and i could meet awesome travelers. that was part of my treasure.

The staff was very nice but the room wasn't comfortable to stay in. I've found ants crawling into my belongings - was not very pleasing. The showerholder was broken, so you'd have to hold the showerhead while showering. Also it was quiet loud at night so we couldn't sleep properly one night. The room was very cramped and there was no wardrobe to put your clothes in which was inconvenient. The bed was OK I guess. You will get clean sheets and bedding for your bed.

Pros about this place: Clean, friendly, private, great location. Cons: Blankets were too thin, which was a bummer when it was really cold. Hard to get a hold of receptionist.
