We liked the spaciousness of the apartment, which was a very good price. Very clean and comfortable. Good ocean view and good location on Imlay street, being only minutes away from shops and cafes, the wharf, the museum and coastal walks and yet still seeming quiet and away from it all. The reception was friendly and informative. Very happy and would definitely come again.

Fantastic ocean views and very clean & tidy. Nice short walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend Heritage House.

The photo in the advertisement is not the room we ended up staying in. Based on the photo, we expected a balcony with an outdoor seating area with a view from our room. We didn’t have that in the room we were allocated

Great location with clean and comfortable accommodations made our stay in Eden a wonderful experience. Michelle greeted us with a smile, and took the time to orient us to the area. The hotel is located across the street from the Whaling Museum and the Fishermen’s Club.

Check in quick and painless with an email receipt sent and received almost immediately. Bedroom nice and spacious. Bed comfortable. Batnroom large but shower a bit small.

The unit was clean and spacious with sea view. All the appliances were in good conditions. The beds were comfortable. Check-in and out were easy and quick. Nick was nice and helpful. We had a very happy stay.

Stayed in a room with a spa. Found modern facilities inside the room. Clean and comfortable. Especially loved the heater lamps in the bathroom, helped greatly in the colder weather of the south. The only con which turned into a pro in my opinion was the WIFI. There were issues with unstable speed and connection issues with one out of the three WIFI networks. However when I brought this to the attention of the owner, he thanked me for the feedback and would be on it that very day. In my opinion, this left a great impression.

Reception staff was nice, helpful and accommodating. Our room was simple but had everything we needed, even bowls and silverware is found in a drawer. The bathroom in our unit was nice and roomy. We liked the electric blankets on the beds. It is conveniently located at the end of town which is a quick walk to the Whale Watching tours or any store, restaurant or grocery in town.

For a motel that charges as much as a 4star hotel in canberra, this was extremely disappointing in terms of value. My mobile phone had no service, the wi-fi only worked well 1day out of 6day stay. The owners had cut the line out of the room but still advertised it as a service on the Web, as well as wi-fi. There were dirty marks on the basin and the phone book had so much dust it made little balls. There was a live cockroach under the phone handset and was still there 2 days later. On the morning I left there was a dead cockroach in the bed. For 3 mornings I was woken at 6.30am by banging doors and 2 nights was kept awake by what sounded like furniture being moved. The design of the lower floor of the motel allows every little sound to travel including conversation from outside. No views on the ground floor. Bed was a bit hard and wires and control for electric blanket could be felt. Talked to the owner about all issues, he agreed false advertising and cleaners needed to do a better job but apology was absent, as was any offers of alternatives or compensation. Never ever going back

So handy to shops to get a meal in the evening, nice flat walk. And very close to Eden Wharf for the whale watch tour departure. Great view, very pleasant stay. Will definitely stay longer next time. Quiet location.
