We arrived late so didn't see anyone and we left early so we didn't see anyone but the cabin was lovely and the beds were good

Nice place to stay. I had a little cottage which was very basic, but it had everything I needed for a 2 day stay. The only annoying thing was that the bed was on wheels so it moves around a lot on the hard floor.

Over priced for the room but you probably pay more to be close to the ferry to kangaroo island

Looks very nice from outside but was not cleaned for ages. We checked in late, 8:30 pm. Everything was closed, no key then someone came to give us a key but no explanation. No wifi at all! Nowhere. Not inside the cottage, not at reception. Nowhere

Arriving late and leaving early I had no contact with staff. But check in was easy enough and the cottage room comfortable, clean and cosy.

Comfortable.Very clean. Window didn’t open so room airless. Could open bathroom window. Needed a screen lockable door at entrance to allow fresh air. Otherwise very nicely equipped and welcoming! Would recommend!

It was a shame that the cafe was not open until 9am, as a traveller we all get up early to leave for our next destination. So they missed out on us getting breakfast.

Close to Sealink Ferry terminal, only an hour from Victor Harbour. Easy booking and after hours check in. Very welcoming had heater and lights on for our late check in. Overall very good. The only downside was the lack of outside lights even some sensor lights would have helped

Service was wonderful and our room had rustic charm with quality linen… fabulous experience… no fuss with our doggo… looking forward to returning for a longer visit

Sadly my room (homestead 7) stunk of mould which made my over night stay really horrible.
I will say, they beds are so comfy BUT the pillows are HUGE so if you like a normal size pillow better bring your own.

Nice area and offers a country feeling.. Love the farm animals and the surrounding. But this place needs a bit of an uplift in terms of amenities and facilities.

Such a unique place to stay, we loved the peace and quiet and the amazing views. The cottage was clean and comfortable, staff so friendly. We will definitely return.

Beautiful little cabin, quite sweet. Didn't get a chance to look around site.
Only small issue was staff too busy making beds in the morning to sell me breakfast packs of bread and juice- I was setting off for a 5 day trek and my partner and small child needed to drive to Victor Harbour for breakfast and I went without. A small act of kindness would have been appreciated.

Wonderful little cottage. Perfect for 2 adults and a small dog. The stay was very relaxing and had nice views from cottage. The friendly animals were an added extra.

Great little private room with an ensuite. Was quiet with a rural feel. Self service check in was a great option and easy for after hours. Very limited access to dining in the area so would recommend being prepared for that.

The restaurant on site was fabulous. Everyone eating there loved their meals. So tasty.

This place is amazing. Ideal for a family stay with plenty to do for the kids.Unfortunately we arrived a bit late. However, the self service check in, after ahaving pre booked, worked well.Our room, Homestead 5, was spacious and clean. The whole building has been modernised and converted into a number of accommodation units. True country style experience.
