Cannot recommend this place enough. Great stay. We had bull elk and female elk right there at the property during our stay. They roam the property and made our experience so much better. Restaurant had a lot of options. Food was delicious. Breakfast was great

A basic cottage in a beautiful location.

Cabin was very cute, clean, and quiet with a front porch. Walkable to many of the springs areas and close to dining options. No wifi at the cabin,
but you can get wifi in the main hotel lobby which has lots of seating areas. Shared bathrooms were not fancy, but clean with private shower stalls and only a short walk from the cabin.

We stayed in one of the Mammoth Cabins and it was clean and better yet-has a porch with chairs and a little table. We sat outside at night and listened to the elks bugling and watched the Aurora Borealis dance across the Big Sky.

Historical beautiful escape

We loved our stay! Rooms were great, beds were comfortable. Mammoth Springs is a little out of the way as far as location goes (North end of park), but it's a great spot.

Cabins have no bathrooms. But otherwise great!

The restaurant was open until 10 pm which was great because we didn't get out of the park until late. However, the menu options were not great. Too fancy! We were looking for burger, salad, or sandwich options. We had to drive into Gardiner for supper, a 15-minute drive. There was also NO AIR CONDITIONING which I didn't think that was an amenity I would have to double check on. I figured in this day & age every place would have air conditioning. Thank goodness it cools off at night!

Adorable, clean cabin. It was fun being tucked in to the park to stay with our kids. The room isn’t very big, but that’s not what we came for, so it wasn’t an issue for us. It was amazing to hear the Elk bugling right out our door in the morning. There was no air conditioning, but even though it was hot that day, it cooled down in the evening and we slept with the windows open. It was perfect for us.

Our room was good looking and clean and included a good view. The dining room was nice and breakfast was very tasty.

No WiFi was not good. Food was terrible and expensive. Location was very good.

Super clean cabin. We knew we did not have a cabin with a full bath but the community one was super close and extremely clean.

Absolutely wonderful stay for my husband’s birthday! Loved the Victorian character with updated modern conveniences. Huge rooms with Lots of Wildlife. 10/10. Highly recommend this hotel and the dining hall was great too. Loved walking the hot Springs at sunset!

I'm grateful for the opportunity to overnight inside the park. Overall, it's a wonderful experience. I will say though that it would be nice if there was dedicated parking for each cabin. Someone had grabbed the parking place to our cabin which sent us on a 10 minute search for an appropriate place to park. Additionally, I must comment on the dining hall. We made it a point to arrive at opening time for breakfast, but were told there would be a wait. Over half the tables in the dining room were still available. Upon my registering my complaint, I was told that several employees had called in to take the day off. I couldn't believe there weren't stand-by employees to fill these slots. After a 20 minute wait and still no table, my sister and I left, hungry. Disappointed at what boils down to poor service at the dining hall. Finally, I'll repeat, that the lodging itself, the cabins, the staff all made for an overall enjoyable visit. Thank you.

The rooms leave a lot to be desired (small and temp control is an issue) but it’s clean and close to Mammoth Springs and north side of the park.

Very small cabin, not even space to open a suitcase. Basic amenities, not even a coffee machine. The staff average age looked around 18 years old, and most if not all seemed to have been in the hospitality industry for a few weeks tops. Restaurant service slow and inexperienced. We. Were brought towels to clean up ourselves sauce that the waitress had spilled on the table. No WiFi connection! (There is no cell service in the park). Awful value for the high price

I was so excited about our trip to visit Yellowstone Nat’l Park. We arrived late in the evening due to a flight delay. The only negative comment I have is that the noise from closing car doors made it hard to sleep—vehicles can park close to the cabins. The cabin rooms are small but accommodate two people. We didn’t come all that way to stay in a room. We had a nice breakfast in the dining room and especially enjoyed the short walks to the visitor’s center, park store, and hot springs.

We stayed in a cabin. They are bare minimum a sink, bed and chairs. They were relatively clean however i did find old popcorn under a chair in our room. It was cool to see the elk eating right in front of our cabin. The hand soap pump was broken in our room. The bathrooms were clean however the shower had shampoo, conditioner and body but the conditioner and body wash pumps didnt work and I couldn't figure out how to get them off the wall to use so mid shower had to move to the other shower. The men's bathroom body wash was also broken.
The amenities were lacking, no coffee unless you drove to the main lobby and purchased one. I think for the price they charge they could at least give a coffee maker.
The restaurant is expensive and the service for dinner wasn't great. The breakfast buffet was good and the service was much better.
Overall good atmosphere but lacking amenities for the cost. A coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave would be very helpful.

Cabins are tiny with no extras like fridges, microwaves, or coffee makers. It's just a place to sleep basically. The only area we could get Wi Fi was in the main building's lobby.
But the location was fantastic!

Nice hotel. Good room but could not turn heating down and was on a noisy corridor.

The cabin was small but super cute! As we got there, there was a young male elk eating grass in the courtyard which was amazing.
Dining options are limited and not a very large - or teenage friendly - menu.

I really like this cabin, especially each cabin has its own hot tub, which is very good for us to travel on snow days. It's quiet, you can hear birds in the morning, and it's very close to Mammoth Springs.

Basic and nice rooms. Staff were wonderful. Just that damn radiator wouldn’t shut up. All night long it had this loud repetitive clicking noise waking everyone up. Ridiculous.

Was lucky enough to get a last minute reservation and we are so glad we did. Room was beautiful and got to listen to the Elk bugling all night long.

We stayed in a cabin with two queen beds at Mammoth Hot Springs. We parked right next to our cabin for easy unloading. We were lucky as the parking is unassigned. Our cabin was part of a circle of cabins with the porch facing a grassy courtyard. The place was quite cute though small was adequate for the two of us. Our cabin had a separate bathroom with a separate bath that included a small shower stall. Cons were no coffee, no microwave. Have to walk to one of the 2 businesses to get food/drink. I knew that going in though. I would stay again due to being in the park.
