Had an amazing weekend, during the summer. The property is chocolate box gorgeous. The rooms are superb; very clean, with a big comfortable king bed, and a fabulous shower. Clair and David make you feel so welcome, and are very knowledgeable of the local area. The continental breakfast was delicious, and very welcome after an early morning of fly fishing. We would highly recommend this lodge, and hope to stay here again.

This is a wonderful lodge which we would recommend to everyone!!
Our room was beautifully decorated, super clean, with ample space, a very comfortable bed and brilliant shower. Hosts Claire and David were very welcoming, friendly and happy to help with suggestions on local things to do.
The lodge has warm and inviting common areas and we spent some time there playing board games and looking out at the beautiful view of the lake.
On one evening we bought back takeaway food and were able to enjoy eating it in the dining area. Make sure to take note of Claire & David's email about booking restaurants in advance as they do get booked out as we learnt on our first night!
The free breakfast is a real treat with delicious breads, coffee, ham, cheese, fruit, spreads and plenty more.
Thank you for a truly wonderful stay Claire & David, we will be back again soon!

This is a great stay in a recently renovated guest house that is owned and run by the wonderfully welcoming Claire & David. The rooms are sparkly clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is small but what a great shower and the hosts provide locally made hair and body products that smell divine. The bed was super comfortable but my only gripe is that the walls are thin so you could hear the neighbours having sex when the whole house had quietened down for the night. A delicious and substantial continental breakfast is included and the dining room has lovely views over Lake Jindabyne. There’s a great common lounge area and in winter I’m sure this would be cosy and warm with the log fire going. Town is only a short walk or an even shorter drive away. We only stayed a couple of nights but could’ve comfortably stayed a couple more. Many thanks Claire & David for your gracious hospitality.

Lovely hosts, pretty view, simple yet gastronomic breakfasts. Will be back!

Excellent location, room and hosts. However, I would not stay again unless they upgraded their water system to cope with the number of guests they have. The shower went from freezing to boiling and even completely stopped a couple of times.

We only stayed for one night but we absolutely loved the place.
The lodge is very unique as its small, homely and each room is different. The room was small, but clean, tidy and with a great view. The shared bathroom was new and very clean. The common areas on all three floors were absolutely lovely both in decoration, feel and the lake views from the top lounge are spectacular. The hosts, David and Claire are lovely, hospitable and happy to recommend sites, visits and activities over coffee or breakfast.
When we visit Jindabyne next time, we know for sure where we will be staying. Troldhaugen lodge has our absolute recommendation.
