It was great!

Such amazing and friendly staff. Hotel itself is beautiful with top notch restaurants. Our room was clean and very spacious. Internet connectivity was a bit slow. Other than that, would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again.

One of the nicest hotel experiences I have had in Asia. Lovely hotel and excellent location just steps from Formosa Blvd KMRT station.
The staff was uniformly helpful and knowledgeable about Kaohsiung. I will definitely be back to work explore more and will definitely stay at the Dua.

This hotel has been my preferred choice whenever I visit my family in Kaohsiung since 2016. The service is always exceptional, and the front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. The room size varies, so make sure to choose the one that suits your needs. The amenities in the room are comfortable, and I have no complaints. However, I would like to suggest that they add weights to the fitness center. The breakfast buffet is enjoyable, and I have had it in the past when it was included in the room rate. If not, there are plenty of options available around the hotel. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby, and parking is included.

super close to MRT exit, just the mattress collapse at the middle that means used long time and need to replace (for Rm1010)

Decor of the hotel was great. Breakfast was great.
However, below are few improvement that hotel needs to make:
1 The credit card I used for booking was compromised. Hotel could not do pre-authorize. I could not update payment information. Hotel could not accept my new credit card info. I had to fill a form (on the road) or else they would cancel my booking even though I assured them that I was already in Taiwan and will be there. This was the only hotel among all 7 bookings I made in Taiwan. Not customer friendly at all.
2. Water pressure and WIFI at hotel was SUPER weak.
I was disappointed as the hotel is nice.

Pros: Hotel decor is nice. Breakfast was great. Rooms were big.
Cons:
1. The card that I made reservation with was compromised before I left for the trip. Since I got a new card and cancelled old card, hotel could not do pre-authorization. Hotel emailed me saying that if I did not provide a new card for pre-authorization along filling the authorization form, my booking of two rooms for 2 nights would be cancelled. I told them that I was already in Taiwan and on the road. Hotels.com does not allow update on credit card information. I had no way to print out the form and sent back. Hotel insisted. Out of 7 bookings I made in Taiwan, Hotel Dua was the only one that insisted on that. Caused a lot of unnecessary inconvenience. This is a huge minus on customer service.
2. Water pressure and WIFI were very weak.

高雄市中心に位置し、地下鉄入口そばで非常に便利。ホテルの飲茶レストランも美味しい。ホテルの部屋も広くて快適。部屋の設備も良好で使いやすい。
Located in the center of Kaohsiung city, very convenient near the subway entrance. Dim sum restaurant of hotel is delicious, too. The hotel room is large and comfortable. The room facilities are good and easy to use.

Generally pleased with my 2 nights stay. Lobby and room look very similar to what you see on the hotel page. Staff accommodated to early check in request and arranged for luggage to be sent to the room when it was available. Room was very spacious with lots of sitting area. Location was very close to exit 6 of famosa boulevard station and liuhe night market. Location is easily accessible to cijin and Rui feng night market which are a few mrt stops away. Breakfast spread is not fantastic but decent enough to suit the different palate.

1) Good location, near MRT. 2) Good variety of breakfast.3) Spacious room. However, it is not hygienic to place clean towels next to the anti-slip plastic floor map (to be used in shower room). It is good to separate the placing of clean towels and anti-slip floor map. 4)The hotel charged to my credit card in USD currency when they did the pre-authorisation. But when I did the booking, the total payable amount was clearly stated to be in TWD currency. Upon my arrival at the hotel, the front office staff explained that for overseas credit card, their local bank will use USD currency. This is not the usual practice in my years of personal experiences with overseas hotel booking, including my earlier past two trips in Taiwan.

I stayed in the hotel for two nights. This is my first stay and I have a very good experience. The location of the hotel is perfect, just 2 minutes walk to the subway station 美丽岛. Also it just take around 10 minutes walk to the famous night market 六合夜市. In the street opposite, you will also find many good restaurants.
I lived in the single room and the room is big (bigger than other hotel's single room) and and very tidy. The bed is very big and comfortable. I would say the room itself is 5 stars standard. The staff is also helpful and nice.
A couple of points for improvement: (1) the checkout time is 11am, which is a bit early compared to other hotel; (2) I cannot find the room service menu, so I am not sure if they serve in room dining.
Overall a very good stay. 5 stars hotel experience with reasonable price. Next time I will choose the same hotel again.
