Amazing staff, hotel and bar
1.5 / 5.0
I had high hopes for my stay at this highly rated boutique.
One of the most frustrating aspects of my stay was the lack of communication regarding the shuttle service. Despite multiple attempts to confirm the shuttle, I received no response. When I finally reached out to the hotel via this portal, their response was dismissive, as if they didn't believe my claim.
To make matters worse, upon arrival, I was asked to provide proof of my previous communication regarding the shuttle. This felt like a personal attack, as if I was being accused of lying. While they eventually offered to reimburse my taxi fare, this gesture felt hollow, as it didn't address the underlying issue of their poor customer service.
The hotel itself had its ups and downs. While I appreciated the spacious two-bedroom suite, the noise level was a significant problem. The constant foot traffic from staff walking up and down the stairs outside my window made it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the noise from the laundry room above my room (#7) was disruptive. Or the sound was similar to a washroom.
On the positive side, I appreciated the security measures in place, such as the requirement to ring into the facility. The housekeeping staff and breakfast hosts were also very friendly and helpful. However, the front desk staff was inconsistent, with some being more helpful than others. Not a repeat though recommended by my brother who loves staying there.

Extremely charming upscale hotel that has traditional Mexican architecture and furnishings. Deluxe rooms are enormous with a giant bathroom. Restaurant is gourmet and provides excellent value. Bar is wonderful. Great service. Downsides are mosquitoes in the rooms since the maids leave doors open when cleaning. Also, internet signal is week with download speeds marginal. At times I was not able to stream video. Pool is small and the pool area is not private. The pool bathrooms are the closest to the restaurant and bar and there steep steps to the bathrooms.

The staff are wonderful. The location fabulous. Quiet and peaceful for being in such a large city with so many people. I don't like memory foam mattresses so that's the only thing i didn't like. Air conditioning worked very well and lots of english speaking stations. Breakfasts were good and restaurant was very good but dining options in the area were endless.

The reception as you walk in is so inviting and friendly. Staff were more than happy to help you in any way they can. Guests were friendly because this place just does that to you. The ambiance was one of inclusiveness due to the friendly staff, a quiet oasis off a busy street, unique and cultural art throughout the facility was amazing. Charley, Rafael, Ivan and Carlos were so accommodating, entertaining and informative. The food in the restaurant was very good. I highly recommend staying in this hotel. You will not regret it.

We did find the room damp and the bathroom very small which made everything wet. Furniture could use a good cleaning! Staff are friendly and the restaurant is fabulous. Ate there all three nights! Unfortunately pool is not heated but that’s typical in Mexico. Highly recommend.

Would have been nice if the pool was heated, too cold to swim. Beautiful oasis, awesome restaurant, friendly staff. Close to shopping! Highly recommend 👍

Hotel was just right for our one night stay. It is just one block of the best streets in Tlaquepaque. Our room was fine, but we were located at the top of the stairs above the lobby, where we could hear guests talking below. The bathroom was very small. However, I would stay there again, the staff was friendly and helpful and the margaritas were the best!

Highly recommend.
Stayed 2 nights in room#1, the first room on 2nd fl. Needed NC headphone because of noise from outside and guests in the hallway even very late at night.
The location is safe and close to everything, the facility very well decorated with lots of charm. Room was small but clean, with adequate comfort.
Very friendly front desk, and restaurant staff - Rafael, Carlos, Evan...- with fluent English.

The hotel is clean, small, beautiful decorated and quaint. It’s located very close to restaurants museums, and the area’s shopping strip. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Transportation to the airport is only provided with a three day stay. They charge $20 dollars . I had to use a taxi to the airport (fee $300 pesos).
Overall, it was a great stay.

It was nice and cozy here. It got an hacienda vibe. The staff is incredible. The cool part is it’s located near some street taco stands that are open really late at night. Overall I wish I could have stayed here longer than I booked. It’s a good centralized locations to venture off into the city or to the small towns.

Great place steps from dining and shopping. Beautifully renovated keeping old charm with modern features. Loved the water dispenser in the room that allowed us to have nice cold water. As females traveling alone we loved the security and the locked front door. Everyone we encountered was super friendly.

Lovely hotel. It’s very close to the central plaza, but removed enough to provide a nice sanctuary from all the activity. The breakfast was fabulous. Eggs and beans, fruit, sweet muffin and bread, OJ and coffee. We didn’t eat dinner there, but the restaurant appeared well loved by visitors and locals. They even have a great bar (and bartender) for a nice night cap. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional.

Just the kind of place I like. Full of Mexican culture in Forclosure. Breakfast is delicious and comes with the stay. Very remote and authentic feeling. You really get to feel that you are in a different country and not just some cookie cutter establishment.

Rustic and classy at the same time

Loved all the artistic touches in the rooms and throughout the spaces. Charly and the rest of the staff were great! The breakfast that’s included is delicious and homemade. The pool area is very relaxing, with a waterfall pond feature in the garden (just make sure to get mosquito repellent for the evenings!) The bed was comfy, the shower water pressure was great, each room has a water cooler that was SO nice for refilling water bottles. They also arranged a reasonably priced 4am ride to the airport (with a car that had A/C!!) for us. 1000% would recommend. My only regret is I completely forgot to leave the farewell tips I wanted to leave - guess we have to come back!

Loved the location one block from shopping street C. Juarez and 2 blocks to the famous Independencia street. Felt extremely safe with the huge police presence on the streets. The owners are lovely people and friendly. The staff are hard working, especially the kitchen and restaurant workers. Everything clean. There was a festival in the square while we were there. Wonderful to see all the families enjoying the rides and crafts. Fireworks were a bit loud during our stay, but don't believe that is a typical experience. Definitely will stay there when we go back.

Unique building and spaces makes it feel more relaxing than box style hotels. Staff is friendly and willing to go out of their way to make you feel at home. Very close to downtown area - beautiful shopping and dining area.

Room 2 has a street view, the problem is that very early (5:30) transportation buses begin their journey through making it next to imposible get a good rest, other than that is OK.
