Nice hotel ruined by hairs in the shower.

Easy to find and fantastic location. Friendly check-in. Large room. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Good parking.

Great comfortable stay. Amazing room and bathroom with sauna and bath. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice old building features. Only down points, many stairways and stairs in maze-like old building making it more difficult to move bigger luggage around and noisy at night because of the restaurants’ clients who linger on the street talking below the room windows.

Friendly staff of a lovely well presented hotel. It’s my second stay here. The rooms I’ve stayed in are all comfortable and nicely decorated in a modern theme.

Tasteful and sympathetic restoration of historic site. Interesting Place to stay with good restaurants free on site parking but limited

I really liked having the sauna in our room. That came in clutch to do daily steam sessions before and after our walking tours of Namur city Center

We chose this hotel based upon it's rating of "fabulous". This was the worst of the 8 hotels we stayed in Belgium on this trip. We verified the hotel had air conditioning and chose a room that had 2 twin beds. The A/C turned out to be a portable fan. We got a double bed, not very comfortable for tall people. The room was hard to find, and I had to carry suitcases over 4 flights of 5 steps each to get there. The rainfall shower head was too low for a tall person. There is no rooftop terrace as advertised. I could go on, but you get the picture. Would not stay here again.

I got woken up every ten minutes from 3am and i was on the third floor some how my room seemed to have no sound proofing and I thought the vehicles were in the room. This was the worst nights sleep Ive ever had in a hotel by far.

Very central location and interesting building. Have to obtain code for parking before you can get in. Very helpful staff. Booked two double rooms and they vere so different - one was amazing the other not so. I guess the building is old and all rooms are different.

Our stay was OK, but not what we were expecting for a hotel of this rating and price. Our room was large but somewhat sparse (not stylish or plush, like the photos we saw on hotels.com). The walls could do with a lick of paint, the bathroom fittings were not very neat (you can see the soil pipe from the bedroom, for example), there was no shower (only a bath with a shower attachment, but nowhere to fix it on the wall, and no shower curtain), the main lights would flicker on/off with some kind of motion sensor, and there were no coffee/tea making facilities (although the staff did kindly provide a Nespresso machine when asked). There is a fridge in the room. Staff were efficient, but I got the impression that this was more of a restaurant than a hotel. We asked about a bar but were directed to a roof terrace, so Im not sure if the ground-floor bar is available to guests or not. Parking is good. The Wifi works well. Our room was generally quiet, with just a bit of clattering from the restaurant until about 10:30 PM and no noise from the street, so a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. All in all, a suitable place to stay, but not with the usual luxuries of a hotel of this level (as it appeared on hotels.com).

A well finished, nice little hotel in a good location close to bars & restaurants. Our room was clean & large with a comfortable bed. However, we booked two twin rooms as we are fellow travellers, not couples. When we went to our rooms, we found that we had double beds. Went to front desk, and miserable chap on reception mumbled that he could see that twin rooms had been booked, but there was nothing that could be done as the hotel was fully booked. No apology. When we asked who else we could speak to, he just mumbled that the manager would be in tomorrow. When we went to the front desk in the morning, a different person told us that the manager wasnt in. No-one showed the slightest concern that we were not happy. We wont be returning.

nice refurbished building(s) with lots of character. i didnt eat at the hotel's restaurant but it looked lovely. great spot in town as you can walk to many amazing places, be they sightseeing, restaurants or other. the room was very unique and comfortable, the staff were excellent and able to accommodate my lack of french language skills

Excellent service, spacious room nicely furnished, choice of restaurants, short walk to city centre.

quirky hotel let down very badly by very unhelpful staff and very poor advertised facilities. This is the place to come for virtually no parking either at the hotel or in the area, restaurants that are totally booked when you arrive, with no alternatives in the area, and staff who go out of their way to be unhelpful and indeed in my case spent the entire checkin complaining about the internet booking companies and the fact that they cannot meet any of guests 'unreasonable' requests (e.g. for a double bed). Hospitality is clearly not anywhere near the top of this hotel's priorities. Highly recommended for masochists.
