Excellent stay with a ton of amenities and great staff! This was a romantic spot with a private bay and beach access, a convenient shuttle to town that runs every hour to access shops and restaurants, and an option to take the hotel BMW for a few hours to explore the island on our own, not to mention complimentary bikes and afternoon boat rides. Staff supported every request (big and small) and the food was amazing, with views even more so! Overall, so glad we stayed out of the main town area and selected the Wauwinet! I highly recommend it and hope to come back again soon!

The Wauwinet property is 10 star. The top notch service started at the front desk, the staff was helpful with where to go and all the activities on site. The in room service was amazing too, making sure we had clean towels throughout the day. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. My favorite is sitting on the lawn and enjoying the breeze. I love this property and would recommend the Wauwinet to my family and friends.

We had such a wonderful time staying here! The staff is so wonderful and knows everyone by name. It was such a special experience staying here and I wish we can come back during the season. If you come off season just expect that they will not have all of their amenities available to you. But it was so peaceful to visit in April.

Excellent weekend getaway! Loved the staff and the coziness of the library, sitting room with the fireplace and the porch. Excellent view of the water from the hotel. Captain Rob was available for the first tour of the 2023 season and it was so amazing. Will be back!

The Wauwinet was everything we expected and more. The location is perfect. The service is great. We stayed for two nights to celebrate my birthday. The housekeepers decorated our room in celebration. The staff at the front desk sang me a "happy birthday" one morning. They really made us feel "at home" during our stay. The property is spectacular. Right on the water with beach access. Although ~20 minutes from downtown, there is plenty to do (e.g., kayaks, tennis, various boat tours). Wauwinet is calm; perfect for couples. We had a great experience at Toppers, the restaurant on site. It was not cheap, but it was definitely worth it. We'd recommend Wauwinet to anyone that's looking to stay on Nantucket! THANK YOU to the Wauwinet team for everything!

The Wauwinet is magical. Nothing else remotely compares. Beautiful property with easy strolls along the beach on both the ocean and the harbor sides. Wonderful restaurant as well. Stay here if you can - and can afford it!

I loved the shuttle ride that picked us up from the visitor center. I loved that they let us know where to go to be picked up. I loved checking into our room. They offered us champagne and helped us to our room. The room itself was unbelievable!! So beautiful ! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were so clean! They had cheese and port every afternoon and also hot apple cider that you could drink while you sat next to the fire in the library. The staff was what made it so great. They were very helpful with helping us plan what to do and where to eat. I can’t say enough about our stay there. It was magical!!!

Suggestion for energy saving: motion sensors for lights, ceiling fans for cool air instead of A/C running all the time, electric shuttle vans instead of gas-run automobiles

A hotel shuttle picked us up from the Hyline ferry and brought us to the hotel (about a 20 minute drive). We were greeted with a glass of bubbles and within a few minutes told our room was ready even though we arrived well before the check in time. Nice view of the water with plenty of seating. We even had to lounge chairs on a private patio by our room. Enjoyed the Wine Spectator Grand Award restaurant Topper’s. The staff was super friendly and met all of our needs. Only negative was the shuttle van air conditioner wasn’t working and it was very hot and stuffy in the van. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staff was incredible! Jeannie the concierge was so helpful, made all our reservations, turn down service was lovely. Complimentary champagne on arrival, was such a surprise! Clean friendly wonderful staff. Delicious restaurant at Toppers, fine dining. The Wauwinet is in a class by itself. The most spectacular views of the Bay and the Atlantic. relaxing lobby with a fireplace that is never left unattended. I loved the Wauwinet. Clean rooms and great service. Their restaurant is delicious too and they offer a complimentary shuttle to the town. The only issue we had was that our ferry got cancelled due to the bad weather but that is not something the resort can fix.

Overall it was pretty great. Maybe it's because it is such a high class hotel that most guests don't like doing certain things themselves, but for me this lacked certain things I usually enjoy in most or all hotels at which I stay which says a lot since this was probably the most expensive hotel or resort at which I've ever stayed: - coffee machine with complimentary bags of coffee in the actual room - vegetarian room service options for lunch and dinner - a mini-fridge in the room - late night room service (if I remember the room service was a only available until 10pm or 11pm); this is a much bigger problem than normal when combined with the lack of a mini-fridge and lack of local late night third-party delivery options - a complimentary breakfast that extends beyond 9am and that includes more than just pastries and coffee - more water availableOverall, I very much enjoyed our stay. I know I am person who sleeps later in the morning than most and stays up later at night than most, and I am person who drinks a lot more water and coffee than most. But I frequently found myself hungry and thirsty.
