Book now! Seriously, Diem and her family were absolutely spectacular. The way we travel, we normally grab ideas through online research and see where the day takes us and the amount of recommendations that Diem clearly curated over long months of research truly showed; we were not disappointed in any of the spots she led us to. Everyone within the family was responsive to our needs and requests via Whataspp. Somehow we found ourselves feeling both like royalty and family during our stay and I couldn't recommend this homestay more.
Also note that it is clear the An Bang area has seen an increase in tourism as many of the streets have in-progress infrastructure upgrades. I'd be very excited and curious to know how the town looks in just a few years. We hope to come back very soon!

We had a lovely time at this homestay. Our host Kiem made everything easy, called taxis for us and scheduled massages. The room and time patio are very comfortable, wish we had scheduled more time here. Place is very charming.

First of all, I can highly recommend this place for kind, helpful and very sweet staff. People were so willing to give a hand, offer advice...and from a very genuine place. Questions and issues were swiftly addressed both by email and in person. The house itself was fantastic- very cozy with a kitchen where we could easily cook (or have cooking done for us). It was so nice for a family and very reasonably priced. The heart-breaker was the construction going on everywhere in An Bang, including right next door. The whole village is being bought up by wealthier outsiders and being built up (although supposedly no mega hotels). The beach may have been a stunner at one time and still does have its charms, but the garbage was horrendous. However, we did take this opportunity to teach our child to pick up trash. We would certainly go again because the village people are sweet, the food is excellent, and it is not as bad as near-by areas, like Hoi An and Danang. Overall, the rapid "development" of this area and lack of environmental protection is ruining it.

It's really hard to find this homestay, and the host didn't give any helpful support. They don't even give you a bottle of water, everything will be charge. No service at all,and they don't speak in English

The location was perfect, just a minute walk to the beach and close to lots of nice restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this place but it can be a little difficult to get a taxi from this location so make sure you have a taxi number or use a taxi app for convenience.

This home stay is very difficult to find. There is a black sign with white writing pointing to it on the main road, but on the sign it is called An Bang Retreat. That is your only clue. There are two rooms on the second floor that have wonderful balconies overlooking green papaya trees and palms, etc. the ground floor rooms are not very private to my standards. But everyone staying there is friendly so it may not matter. The staff, especially Hang the manager, are quite wonderful. The bed was great. There are sections of AnBang Beach that are dirty and eroded, but here the beach is lovely. We enjoyed our stay here quite a lot.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Place is on a fairly quiet street with small restaurants, markets, etc. Room was spacious and clean and breakfast was good. Hoi An is amazing!

Very close to beach, rooms are spacious, elegant if fairly simple in terms of facilities. It's a 15 minute bike ride into town (Hoi An), which is good for clothes shopping and a variety of good restaurants. Centre of Hoi An is interesting but a bit overfull of tourists. Beach at An Bang is nice, fairly quiet, but this was winter season so not really swimming weather. It rains a fair amount this time of year.
Staff (in particular My who speaks good English) are keen to help you out with whatever you need. A good spot if you're looking for quiet and relaxation by the sea.

Lovely house, self contained accommodation just off the main street of An Bang. About a five minute walk to the beach. Hard to find if you don't get an airport pick-up, get directions before you go!

We stayed at An Bang Hideaway in Mid Dec-knowing it was rainy season-so I want to make sure this review is read with that in mind. The place it self is very cute and has a lot of potential, nice facility and a good short walk to the beach, big room ok bed.If the weather was better I think this would be a great beach destination. With that said,I also want to say that I hope the staff and service was also on off season. In our 4 days there,we arrived to a pitch black property (we got there at 5:30 PM)with only a note, and the security guard to help us- who spoke NO english. That was all fine, as we read the note the staff is off duty at 5pm,but after only an hour there the whole place lost power. We would have believed it was due to the weather, but it was a clear day and every other place on the street still had lights. The power was off and on all 4 days, never really consistent, and the only excuse being rain(even though it didn't actually rain a lot of the time).Whatever, we made due but it was disappointing.I'll go further to say that although the girl working there was very sweet,I hope they have more help during the high season as we felt pretty abandoned there after 5 pm when she left.My biggest issue was that even though short staffed, they could have at least cleaned the room daily-which they did not.Not even giving new towels or toilet paper or emptying the trash. This place had great potential- just come in high season, they should just shut it down in winter.

We enjoyed the stay a lot. Although there was a misunderstanding of plans initially, the lady in charge was very prompt to compensate the situation, and got us upgraded to a better villa (Coco Villa), right next door. It happened that our daughter had her birthday that day, and they were kind enough to surprise us with a birthday cake.
They need to add signs from the main road though, since it is difficult to orient yourself in the small village without public lighting.

I was upgraded to a shared property, Coco Beach Home Stay, and I loved it. The garden is beautiful, the room both modern and authentic, and the service from the front desk is top notch. Any thing you think to ask for can be arranged here in terms of tours, shopping, or transportation. There are local restaurants in walking distance that gave me my most memorable meal of my trip. The beach was only 50 or so meters down a path from the homestay.

Despite some hiccups regarding power cuts and thus the lack of air conditioning & the construction work going on around the Homestay we enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the service - lovely accommodating people!

Hidden away in the middle of village and only 50meters to safe swimming beach. This is as good as it gets if you want to meet travellers and locals alike . Very intimate setting with nothing to want for. A place you can really help the village economy and in return get treated with genuine warmth, nothings a problem, and amazing food where even the girls looking after you on the beach deliver outstanding dishes to your deckchair.

Great location away from the main town but easy to get around if you want a bit more noise and people trying to sell you stuff. Staff are wonderful and could not have done any more to make our stay so good. Duong was especially helpful and tried so hard to make stay that extra bit special.
Please don't go and stay here, we want this all for ourselves :)

And, the pillows are a bit too high for me... my neck suffered a bit ;p but still, the bed is very comfy.

From the moment we arrived we loved this place, which is more than a hotel. The best it's the service, always fitting in with your needs.
Rooms are gorgeous, tastefully decorated, have mosquito nets and beautiful outdoor spaces.
Breakfast is really tasty,
The sea is only a minute walk away, and the gorgeous town of Hoi An a bike or taxi ride away. The hotel is not in Hoi An, but in Ang Bang on the beach.
Highly recommended!

Everything about the 'Beach Hideaway' was perfect. We splurged for the beach villa and were happy about it every morning we woke up to the sandy scenery. Breakfast was served in our living room and we were able to completely relax. Would definitely recommend and hope to one day come back.
