Great location, if there is coffee machine in the room that will be the best!

Perfect stay In NY.
The room and the view was amazing
4.2
Shower was not working correctly but they fixed it. Bed was ok. I would have preferred a shower instead of the bath/shower.
4.2
Amazing stay, the king superior bed was extactly how it’s advertised; SUPERIOR! Amazing staff and they are always looking to lend a helping hand with luggage. Everything they do is intentional and done with compassion! I appreciate the love and the open arms for our stay! Can’t wait to be back again!

BEWARE:::There is a roof top club next to hotel's south side with thumping music till 3 AM request a room on north side but not to high up as they have their own roof top club with very loud music which can be heard in guest room on the top few floors.
Several of the Staff were very accommodating while othrr couldnt be bothered
Very expensive for the services provided. No direct access to the HighLine that it is named for.

Amazing stay with top view on the river and downtown, ideal conditions to work and chill around in Meatpacking.
Staff is a bit special, but that's part of the concept maybe...

Phenomenal help at the front desk. We weren't sure where we were going to stay and they helped us get a great last minute rate for a few days. Wonderful room and terrific atmoshphere. Everything felt like a surreal movie, it really emphasizes the artistic and creative nature of the High Line/Cheslea area. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

There is a reason I keep returning to the Standard highline over and over and over again… The staff is incredible and kind and accommodating. That’s the most important part of this experience for me.
The Standard takes extremely good care of me every time I show up I really feel like part of the family.
Not many hotels that remember you remember what you like and are always one step ahead of you when it comes to service and accommodation
It really is my home away from home

I’ve stayed at the standard many times over over the years and it still does manager to be a convenient spot to post myself in Manhattan when I need to be on the west side. In town for a couple of NYFW events these past few days, I stayed at the standard because it’s exactly where I need it to be, isn’t overly expensive (although prices were very inflated due to how busy the city is for the week) and still gets a vibe-y crowd.
My stay was pretty straightforward, neither remarkable nor awful, however on my first evening at the hotel while getting ready to attend an event and party, I attempted to use the hair dryer only to find that it wasn’t turning on. I reset the dryer, then the socket, which didn’t help. I called down to guest services to ask them to send up a new dryer assuming it had been burnt out. It took quite a while for someone to come up and in the interim I began running low on time before I needed to leave. The staff member who came up took a look at the dryer and then informed me that it was actually the socket which wasn’t working, not the dryer and it remained that way for the rest of my stay.
Needless to say it’s a first world problem under most circumstances, however during fashion week while appearing and being photographed at events, having my hair look a mess because the electrical socket in my hotel room is not working and prevented me from doing my hair was definitely not great.

Great stay, will be back. Walkable, on Highline, stayed in corner room.
4.2
Good hotel. Well placed in NYC vibrant meat packing area. A lot of options but way overpriced for what it is.
4.2
No parking, not even nearby, and no valet. Had to schlepp luggage for two blocks- thankful no rain. Hard to find the entrance- upside down sign? Keys did not work- but a housekeeper helped us a lot- moved us into another room quickly and saved us limited time. Bed was awful- a sponge and way too low. Shower had zero privacy. Toilet size was a joke. Would not stay again, nor recommend.

The air conditioning was on full blast and could not be adjusted. Room was barely 65 degrees. Very uncomfortable.
4.2
Great location next to the High Line, perfect as a base to explore all of Manhatten.
4.2
Excellent friendly attentive welcome and swift and helpful check out.
4.2
The bathroom door squeaked loudly and we reported it but it still squeaked. Fire false alarm was a pain. When we arrived there was no place to unload our bags.
4.2
The club on the roof is really loud at night. We got no sleep the first night, being on the 13th floor. Great hotel if you are there for night life, but not so much for business. The gym is nice.
4.2
This was a great stay. Good location, helpful and friendly staff, great river view and a great bathroom. The furniture was a little worn and and could do with some touching up.
It was an expensive stay, but acceptable for NY. The $200 a night deposit wasn’t communicated very well and feels a bit steep; I expected it to be $200 for the stay. That being said, I would happily stay again.

We enjoyed our 2nd stay very much. Location, Room service and La Plaz food were great. DJ playing great ambient grooves, world beat & classics set the tone for good evening chats. All this plus a short distance from Little Island and The Highline. Keep up the good work...
4.2
Great location in Meat Packing District right on the Hihj Line. Smallish room with shower that has glass wall to room. Depending on your orientation, this is either cool or odd.
4.2
Terrible noise, all night crazy lound music until morning. Couldn't sleep. Hated my stay. Will not recommend to my work teams.
4.2
Very nice hotel with a great location and views next to high line. Friendly staff and pleasant check-in process. I will stay again.
4.2
Decent room, though very little closet space. Additionally, our TV was broken for 2 days and they could not fix or replace it
4.2
Front desk staff weren’t organized

I enjoyed short stay. Thank you to everyone

Property is in a fantastic location.. near amazing dining options (Tao, Catch steakhouse, Catch, STK), Chelsea Market, and shops.
The staff was very friendly. They greeted us every time we came in with a warm welcome. They even treated us with a complementary champagne for a 50th birthday celebration.
Our room had incredible views that really made the experience so special.
I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend to others.

Hotel is a bit run down, not really worth it.

I was excited to finally go here but there were some issues that I feel if they fix will def make it a 5 star. The stray hairs upon arrival, 4 in total were not fun to see but I am not a complete stickler. But once they were in the tub, by the couch, and table I was kind of put off. The toilet didn't really flush correctly but I finally got it after. The bed is low, if you are tall so be mindful. The sit-in area near the table has dust, hair and a tooth pick. Lastly the lights were not tended too in terms of cleaning because once I turned it on at night to read and eat, I had flurries or dust migrating on the table flying all around so I couldn't eat there like I had started while reading. Last thing was, there is only one plug which is by the tv, but also 5 out of the 6 towels had stains. The area is lovely, the outside is nice, the inside of the entrance was cool. I expected more for the price. Also the edge of the mattress was stained. I wish I had a better experience.

dirty carpet and smelly. TV news channel did not work and they made up an excuse but they dont pay for news channels and its ridiculous. will never stay here. very over priced too

Brent was wonderful at the front desk

Great hotel with lot of things to do in the area
4.2
Very clean, comfortable beds, soft sheets - great staff! 5 stars!
4.2
Horrible experience - stayed at 10th floor and every night you could hear very loud music from 18th floor. Was told/promised a 20% discount on food at check in, but when we checked out no one recognized that was the case. Find another hotel, plenty other ones offering you better service and better standards

I would have liked for them to put the special birthday treat before check in to the room because I was disappointed that it wasn’t there when we got to the room… later on there was a nice little cake..also I thought there was two free waters? Didn’t get that :( would’ve liked for the person at check in to ask if we were celebrating anything special..or make a fuss..I emailed and called before hand to let them know it was a special occasion..just didn’t feel so special.. overall it was nice.

This location is amazing! I loved the restaurant downstairs too but the room was tough with sharing with a friend. there is zero privacy the shower is completely glass on both sides so definitely isn’t suited for friends! Yikes!
4.2
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to staying here again!

Lost my bags for almost a half an hour. made me extremely worried.
I travel pretty much full-time and I’ve never had anything like that happen in my years of experience

Love the art deco, splendid location

Great hotel! We were upgraded to better views and loved our rooms. Amazing views of Hudson River and downtown skyline. Great location. Hip people. We ordered steak from room service and it was insanely delicious. Pleasantly surprised that the food quality was so great. The location is really great. The cafe/restaurant downstairs is really nice and the Biergarten is fun. Chelsea Market is a block away and it’s a short walk to Chelsea/West Village/SOHO/Greenwich. Will definitely come back.
