Our stay at the Royal Street Inn and R Bar was note-perfect! After a long afternoon of traveling, we were greeted by staff at the bar who immediately put us at ease and quickly showed us to our cozy and eclectic room. Everything about the location and ambiance was optimal. Our only regret was that we could not stay another night! Highly recommend this incredibly charming place.

Awesome room. Comfortable bed, seating area, balcony (shared) right outside our front door. Nespresso coffe. Nice, spacious room with a sexy feel. Extras of Sonos speaker and Spotify were nice. We used the rain playlist to drown out the extended party noise and slept so well! The shower pressure is low, but didn’t bother us at all. Nice products and double shower head. We loved it and would definitely return!

Absolutely loved this place! Was interesting and corky checking into a local bar (and having cocktails). The room was absolutely stunning. The architecture, the decor, the balcony. The employees were lovely as well.

Our stay at R Street Inn was AMAZING! The staff was welcoming upon arrival and did a wonderful job of assisting us even when our room wasn’t ready by giving us a great recommendation for a local restaurant and allowing us to store our bags. Upon return they were so helpful with bags up to our room. The room has a Sonos sound system in the bathroom AND the main space, cool red lighting and a great coffee maker. Will DEFINITELY stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at R Bar. The staff went over and above to make our trip memorable. The room itself was perfect. We look forward to our next time in New Orleans, will definitely be staying here.

Our stay was great except for one incident. We had the top room and couldn’t hear any sounds from the bar below. The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, and accommodating, and the room was clean and very romantic. Extremely cool place to stay! The only issue is when we were awoken one morning by someone blaring loud music from the room below us. After knocking on the floor didn’t work, I followed the racket downstairs and knocked on the door to ask the man to please keep the noise down. The guy ultimately complied but had the huevos, HUEVOS I tell you, to school me in the fact that I should’ve knocked on the door first instead of the floor (which he had heard but ignored) because it’s better for the old building. Well, it turned out that he was one of the hotel OWNERS staying in the room below us! Can you believe it? So, I’d still recommend staying here, but be on the lookout for an inconsiderate little man, who looks like George Liquor (Google it), who would rather park his kid in front of a blaring TV, waking up paying guests on a Sunday morning, in New Orleans of all places, rather than actually interacting with the kid quietly like any decent human being would. Staggeringly unprofessional!

What an incredible stay in La Sirena! This suite was freaking gorgeous!!! So romantic and a phenomenal location! The staff was super nice and accommodating with our early check-in bag drop off. We will 1,000% be coming back!

I loved the property from first sight! If you are looking for a hotel expereince you won't find it here. But you'll find property owners who are on site, incredibly friendly and helpful, and the best neighborhood in New Orleans! The area is very safe, one block from Frenchmen so close to the action but quiet enough for sleep. I've been to NOLA at least once a year for 20 years and this is my go-to place from now on.

I loved the convenience of the bar being steps away. I was not thrilled by the noise/proximity to the patio and no windows.

The bar and inn were a good experience. Enjoyed the room.
The streets getting there were under road repair, a mess. Parking was a issue for us. Overall if you are a party person and want to stay where the new music scene is, this is the area to be.
Adam and the staff were very helpful.

Received a free-upgrade to the Royal Suit - as showing in the picture. The master bedroom is even better.

The location was great for walking to all of our locations. Room decor was fantastic, well chosen and fitting. Manager was extremely responsive, polite and good humored. He worked hard to make our stay convenient.

The room was amazing! It was just so cool. The only thing I didn't like about the property was that the room on the ground floor was not the best as far as keeping the noise out. We could hear everything happening out on the street as if the door was open.

La Sirena suite was excellent. Great location and vibe. Hip bar located on site. A bit noisy at night but to be expected and the place provided earplugs, which solved any noise issue.

Quaint and eclectic with nice amenities. The service is awesome, and location is perfect for a great time in NOLA.

Stayed in Storyville suite on 2nd floor .. Loved the room and the large balcony. The stairs are very steep and narrow .. Choose the 1st floor suite if you don't want a climb. A/C was cold and created some good white noise for sleeping .. It is very loud at night in the French Quarter so keep that in mind. The staff and amenities are awesome .. And plenty of excellent dining options within walking distance
Would definitely stay again ..

IT WAS JUST MAGICAL! I had planned to go to New Orleans for The Essence Music Festival 2015. I was supposed to room with some girlfriend who came down days earlier and rented a timeshare, at the last minute they said they had no room for me, so I had to find a place to stay for the Festival. At first I had reservations because I was told that it was a room over a bar, I figures I would never get any sleep, but when I opened the door to the suite it was beautiful! Wood floors, antique furniture, wide screen TV’s, 2 bedrooms, modern kitchen, bar in room, beautiful bathrooms, and the balcony was the best. I didn’t want to leave, it was a magical weekend! ……..and what tops it off is the timeshare that the girls rented, had bedbugs! God don’t like ugly! My place to stay every time I visit New Orleans!
