WiFi not up to standard kept dropping in and out
Close to Thai Consulate . Frequented this hotel over the years. Pleasant staff and always clean place to stay.

I like the area

The hotel is OK in many ways, but the breakfast was terrible, as if they didn’t care. Since Europeans book in there they should really try harder. Building B is in much better decorative order than A. A very quiet area at night, it is just that bit too far from the centre of town. Café Sinouk opposite is a real plus though.

It's a clean, inexpensive hotel 100 meters from Thai Embassy.
With adequate breakfast.
Very nice staff

The hotel was close to a lot of restaurant or choices of foods to eat. Near a mini store. Close to the Thai embassy. Breakfast was nice. Room was spacious and clean. Had taxi cabs and tuk tuk near by. Customer service was friendly. Only thing I'd change is the bed. The bed was big, but hard, like box spring hard. Pillow was too firm. All and all still manageable. I would come back.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Embassy of Thailand

Nice hotel right next to Thai embassy. Rooms are big, breakfast is a very generous buffet. The management is absolutely amazing. They did everything they could to help us when we run into some trouble during our stay. (Trouble not connected to the hotel) I can highly recommend this place they really shine if you need some assistance during your stay.

The location is convenient for people who want to go to Thai embassy.

Best benefit for my personal interest was it's location across from Thai Embassy. The buffet breakfast was good. The property is just too worn down for my taste. No restaurant or bar.
3.3
It was a nice and clean hotel and perfect when you go for a visa run, close to the Thai embassy.
3.3
Great place to stay if you are getting a visa for Thailand, it is across the street from the consulate. The breakfast buffet is great, and the staff is very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Cigarette smell lingered in the entire hotel, despite being a non-smoking room hotel. Had to change rooms 3 times. First due to someone having smoked in the room and butts were visible on the ledge in front of the window. Second room faced a ongoing construction next door and broken aircon. 3rd room was ok, but cigarette smell lingered in through what seem either ventilation or floors. It feels like this hotel has never been cleaned. Windows were stained, doors and mirror in bath room were dirty. Nearly every tile was dirty or cracked or loose. Doors open and close with a loud bang, echoing through out the entire floor. WiFi was bad. Breakfast was barely passable. Its beyond how it can be called 3 star. If 3 star is about 60% of 5 star, then this could not be in reality more then 1 star. Cabins in wilderness are more comfortable. Only thing positive I can say, is the front desk managers did respond positively to my complaints and did move me to new rooms. A hotel to be avoided.

I was very satisfied. Service could not have been better. Breakfast was excellent. Not located in the heart of the tourist area, but for my purpose (business at the Thai embassy), the location was perfect. There are plenty of tuk-tuks to taxi you where you want to go. The building shows some age, but was clean. The bed is hard - typical for Thailand also. Overall very satisfied and would recommend to any practically-minded traveler. Booking on hotels.com took away some worry also - I didn't have to present credit card at hotel at all.

Great place to stay if you are doing anytyoe of VISA run with the Thai Embassy. The Embasy is literally next door across the street! The place is clean, includes free breakfast and is clean for this side of the world. The staff was super nice!

I've been here before, i chose this hotel because it's very close to Thailands embassy. It's far from the best hotel experience. I would never take my family here for a vacation.

Best hotel near to the Thai consulate. Staff generally friendly but want to make extra money out of you at every available opportunity

Very hard bed - no cushioning. Toilet roll holder inefficient and roll fell off into the shower run-off water whenever used. Plenty of choice at breakfast unless you like cereal and toast. I took my own cereal but no milk available, not even on offer to buy from reception fridge. I purchased my own at shop outside hotel.

So strong unpleasant smell in the room that i couldn’t sleep at night. Air Con is very old. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Good hotel for Thai consolart, can save money from airport by getting the airport bus island taking a 15 walk to the hotel if u r traveling light, Vientiane is nice to spend a few days, can walk around the main places easily. Vientiane is a good place to get a tourist visa for Thailand and this hotel is the closest to the Thai consulate.

This hotel was in a good condition in 2009. Now, you can only book online (no such "service" at the reception!), the rooms are dirty, smell smoky, and are loud. There is only one reason to stay here, the Thai consulate is just 100 m away.

Worst hotel I ever stayed at. Beware of mosquitos and ants

The hotel is very close to the Thai embassy, and is the only reason for staying there.
Very few conveniences offered but a simple breakfast included, nice cold fried eggs for instance. Staff can be convinced to specially fry a new hot one for you, but this is not on general offer.
Hot water is abysmal and bathrooms very poorly designed, meaning that after a tepid shower the whole floor is wet.

Check in no fuss and prompt.
Se Asian bathroom, use the shower and walk through wet floor to toilet from then on. The shower either wet the toilet paper, towels or the door depending on the aim. The shower rose was almost not functioning, water was issued in thick streams.
No room strongbox.
No coffee/tea making facility.
Breakfast was cold eggs sausages and SE Asian food. You won't starve but for me, Australian, a bit ordinary.
I stayed with my wife and daughter for three nights to attend the Thai consulate. The hotel was inexpensive and did its job, maybe a bit unfair of me to compare it to my usual various accommodations.

Straight forward check-in and check-out. Rooms were quite clean, staff were pleasant enough. All in all this hotel suited my needs for a short visit to the consulate across the road.

I was very happy with the location. It is right across the street from the Thai Embassy. As I was in Lao for a new Thai visa the location was perfect. There was always a member of the staff at the desk who spoke English, another plus. The breakfast was good quality, however the fresh fruit was gone after 8 am. The menu was Asian, it would have been nice if there was some bacon for westerners. There is a Pizza Company restaurant on the block and a Lao Bakery/coffee shop across the street that served good Italian food. A mini mart that is very poorly marked in the office building ground floor on the block across the street. All in all enough choices to keep you there with out going downtown in a tuk tuk. The cable tv was great, many English speaking channels including HBO anf Fox Movies.
