Reception was closed upon arrival, tried to check in using the self service machine, which kept telling me I needed to pay when I already paid when I made the booking. I pressed the button to speak to an agent. After sometime waiting for the call to be answered, I was told that I needed to pay and my card had only been used for authorisation. I explained that I had a receipt and had already paid the charge on my credit card bill 4 months previous, it was on my statement. To which I was told I needed to pay and he had other calls waiting and he hung up. I was left having to pay again and will now have to chase when I get home.

The staff was very friendly. However, smoking is common near the rooms and in the common areas, so there is a strong cigarette smell. The hotel does not have elevators. The air conditioning is adequate, but if you get a "family room", upstairs it can be very hot in the summer. The room is small but acceptable for a stay of one or two nights.

It looked very shady, the room was dirty and the linens smelled bad, the AC didn’t work and it was very stuffy. The hotel didn’t have very many guests, and they put us 2 flights up with our luggage, with no elevator. And our room was all the way at the end of the hallway to the back, facing the noisy highway. When we left in the morning, there were 2 cops called to the room down from us. It was very scary.

It was a frustration for us. Room was smelling dust and other stuff. There was a few insects in the bathroom and on the bed when we entered. We tried to kill these creatures before sleeping.

Usual hotel was fully booked, limited availability everywhere else so we ended up here.Cheap, small, clean, noisy. The biggest issue was noise, which did make it hard to sleep. It's a basic budget place to stay. But at the end of the day, the bed was comfy enough and it was clean. Can't argue much at that price.

We have stayed in several B&B hotels in Germany, and expected the same standard here. However, we were very disappointed. The facilities are clearly old and a bit run down, and the rooms are small. They open onto an outdoor corridor which was used by other guests as a smoking hang-out all evening/morning, so we heard them talking and the smoke entered our room constantly. The walls between the rooms are very thin and we did not sleep well at all. I would not return to this particular B&B property even though I have really enjoyed their hotels in Germany.

Only stayed one night, but wouldnt have wanted to stay longer. It was perfect for our needs but our room was very compact. There was a lot of footfall outside of our window and the door to our room didnt feel overly secure. The B&B is situated inside a complex of basic restaurants that remain open longer than eateries and restaurants in the closest local area, which we found out after being turned away from a few places in the local town. Management should look at the way the towels are laundered and stored as they had a foul odour.

The room is ok for the price except they don't have elevator. It's not good when you travel with your big luggage. The bathroom is so small and quite old. We stay in a room for 4 person. The stairs to go to second floor is dangerous, you have to be careful to slip on the stairs.
