Beautiful property with cottages in desperate need of renovation. It looks like nothing has been updated since the 80’s. Screens on the windows and sliding door would be a big improvement. Communication via text was excellent and the extra coffee packets were very much appreciated. Advice to bring bottled water was right on!

We arrived early at 10:30am and contacted Heather. She had the room ready for us in half an hour, so no need to wait till 3 pm to check in. The property was quiet. Sitting on the balcony and listened to music in the morning was my favorite. We had the cabin with 2 rooms. Living room and the 2 rooms were decent size. The kitchen has everything you need to make breakfast and small meals. WiFi is solid. Only negative is hot water kind of runs at night, but I believe that's common on the island.

Great size of room. Thanks for room upgrade, will return in the future .

This is an older property in a nice area with pretty grounds. Our unit had a tiny kitchen which was a little hard to maneuver in, but it was workable. Communication was good as far as instructions to do self check-in.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Suite was clean and equipped with all that we needed for 2 people. Quiet well maintained grounds

Very nice little cottage, clean and comfortable. I would suggest trying to add another comfortable chair in the living room area as the couch is very small for 2 adults - and we are below average size

Quiet and comfortable cabin. Bring some bottled water though, as the tap water has a strange taste

Sweet cottage, nice gardens. It's not right on the water but is a pretty close walk. Just over 30 minute walk to the ferry. Everything was clean and neat and in good condition.

I loved how many shore access points there were on the island. Everything was very dog friendly, Little to no traffic. Cool culture and history with beautiful views beautiful different beaches to chill at from pebbles, sandstone and fine sand. Absolute gem of an island

2 mins away from the terminal. The host got the house ready for us way earlier and allowed us to move in right after the ferry arrived the island. Check in was quick and easy. The office is very cute and very convenient. The separated houses were little but very comfortable. We loved our staying in the property. Our kids enjoyed the badminton and volleyball games. The little ponds and gardens are very beautiful. We will definitely recommend this property.

I stayed at the garden suite, their biggest cottage on site and was very happy with my stay. The cottage is super spacious and I love the sky light they have in the living room area. Also the kitchen is well equipped for cooking your own meals. Furniture is not new but the entire suite is super clean. I feel like living a home away from home. There are apple trees on site and the staff even showed us where to pick nice apples! Staff can also be reached easily by phone or txt. Check-in and check-out were smooth, just followed the email and note provided in cabin. Location is perfect for walking to Bellhouse park, easy hike to The Bluffs to overlook Active Pass. Also, many deers in the neighborhood. Just a note to bring your own coffee/tea, shower gel/shampoo. They do provide some but if you’re staying for multiple nights, may not be enough. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again!

Beautiful cabin in a great location. I will definitely go back.

Great location and beautiful property. However, there was no air conditioning in the cabine and was very hot in the cabine making it hard to sleep. We were able to find mosquito screens for only 2 windows. The rest of the windows didn’t have screens. We were there 3 nights and I never saw a staff on the property, the small office in the parking lot was empty the whole time. Very rustic experience.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Driftwood Village and have no complaints! Heather and Fred are fantastic and more than happy to answer any questions about the local area. I’m always on foot and they’ll assist with hikes nearby, pristine shore access, and are available if their guests have any needs. Would recommend!

Cottage was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, nicely equipped, warm and cozy. The seamless no touch check in worked perfectly and I am looking forward to returning again as soon as I can get there

Lovely location overlooking Active Pass. Cabins are quite old and basic but very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Driftwood for 2 nights and it was a very well-kept property and incredibly close to the ferry (2min drive). You can hear the sosunds of the ferry horn as it docked. The curb appeal is nice as there is a lot of open grass area and the cottages themselves are very charming. The interior of the cottages are quite dated. There are shag carpets and older furniture. There were a few unpleasent musty smells emanating from under the sink and the bathroom ceiling had a few spiders and webs. They had clean towels, toilet paper and a bar of soap, so we brought our own shampoo, hair dryer and paper towels. Overall, it is what we expected at 3 stars. We didnt mind as we did not spend much time in the room. To put it in context, if you are seeking a low cost, no frills option, this could be a good choice.

It was perfect. Nice little cabin very comfortable very clean awesome fireplace beautiful grounds to walk around.. service was awesome great trip..

Basic very clean cabin, the kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean bathroom. We stayed in a 1bedroom cottage, but there was no door to the bedroom so there was no privacy. Not sure if all the cabins don’t have bedroom doors, but if you are traveling with children that go to bed early, you won’t be able to isolate them and have time alone...

This was a lovely property with great ocean views and very clean cottages in good condition . We were very close to great beaches, restaurants, hikes and viewpoints. The owner was very kind and welcoming too. Loved being able to sit on the deck while our kids ran around the grounds and we all watched ferries pass by. Would love to return!

No room service, no coffee after first night and no hot water (a little warm water). No one in the office, I think I was the only person on the property. Did not stay here

Had a great May long weekend at Driftwood Village with the Wife and 2 yr old. Deer frequently graze through the property and there is a view of Active Pass. The cabins are well furnished and have everything you need, including a spacious patio/balcony.

Really enjoyed my stay at this cabin! The room we stayed in (Unit 4) was very cosy. The only reason why I gave a 4 rating was because we had an issue with the hot water running 5 minutes a time. But that aside, friendly staff and GREAT location. It is so close to Bellhouse Provincial Park and only FOUR minutes from the Ferry Terminal. Great value!
