It was amazing to go and stay there. Once in a lifetime. The showers only had cold water but during the hot days they were perfect. You get very close to the wild life, we even had a tarantula in our room. Definitely worth experiencing

This place is fabulous! We had a five-day package and could not fault it. The included tours (by boat) were excellent and our guide, Oscar, made sure that we had a great experience. He found lots of wildlife for us despite the difficulties of it being the high-water season, and his knowledge of the local fauna, especially birds was sensational. Our boat driver, Dennis, also did a great job spotting wildlife and getting us into places that I thought a boat could not go.
Our tree-house was rustic, as expected, but was comfortable, roomy and had great atmosphere. All-in-all a wonderful experience and worth every cent of the cost. We will go back, and I would recommend Treehouse Lodge to anyone who wants a unique experience in the Amazon jungle. By the way, we are both 74 years old.

This property takes 3 hours from the Iquitos airport to reach. The rooms were beautiful and the excursions were personal and involved some once in a lifetime experiences. However, my sons stayed in the Treehouse 6 while my husband and I stayed in Treehouse 9. The boys had to walk through millions of bugs, grasshoppers, gnats, mosquitoes, cockroaches, etc to get to their room, which is the tallest room. I understand it is in the Amazon and I'm not that squeamish about bugs but this was excessive for 2 teenage boys who enjoy camping and being outdoors. Bugs crawled on them while they slept even with the mosquito netting, limiting their sleep and their fun. We visited at the beginning of the dry season in June 2018. Again, great experience but intense with the bug life you have to walk through and sleep with.

This property is marketed as a luxury experience within the jungle. Sadly this was far from the case. Dirty room, mosquito netting which stunk with many holes, very tired property with lack of management to supervise staff. The excursion guides however were excellent and worked incredibly jard. Treehouse Lodge is very overpriced- owners need to look carefully at what is happening there.....
