Nice hotel . Very well located, just a few steps from Sampeng market and Chinese food market . Our room was nice and big with a wonderful view over the river . Short walk from MRT and easy to find by taxi . Very small bathroom but otherwise OK . WiFi kind of slow , but OK too . Several restaurants to try , specially the revolting restaurant on 25th floor . Did not see much of reseption , but very attentive Concierge at all times Will definitely book a room again

The location was conveniently situated near various markets, coffee shops, and restaurants. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, but upon entering the room, I noticed that some of the roof tiles were out of place and had to be adjusted. However, I was disappointed to find that the rooms were not as clean as depicted, with noticeable dirty fingerprints on the walls. Additionally, the shower had drainage issues after every use. The furniture appeared dated, and there was a lack of updated power outlets.

Very spacious room with comfort and a great view from the top floor. Very polite staff and located at the heart of China town

We had cockroaches in the first room, but easily got another. The pool closes early so we never got to try it. The hotel might be okay - accommodation in Bangkok is just quite expensive compared to the rest of Thailand

The staff were really helpful and pleasant from the moment we arrived. Always assisted us in the most efficient way. The room was very spacious and the view from the 16th floor was amazing Having a walk in closet was a wonderful asset. No need to see suitcases.

The hotel was in a convenient location, short walk to the pier and the surrounding streets were full of markets. I had to change rooms because the air conditioning was making so much noise it sounded like someone was slamming a door every 10 minutes, staff were very good and relocated me into another room straight away at 5 am in the morning. Having stayed in two different rooms I found that both showers were very old and needed updating, it would be nice if the hotel invested in some USB charging sockets in the room as there were none. The hotel is clean and would stay there again, just needs a bit of updating. The rooftop bar was excellent place to chill out.

The room was very very spacious (with 2 restrooms included). It's centrally located right in Chinatown. As soon as you stepped outside, all the foods and vendors are there. Overall, the room itself is just a little dated, but still in good condition. The staff was friendly. The surrounding area is as expected, little old and smelly, especially since it's a night market. But for the hotel itself, highly recommended it and will book again if in the area.

Have stayed there 4 times, every time it was just what I was looking for. I’ll definitely book another stay soon, as this is my favorite part of Bangkok.

This was our second stay at the Grand China.
The views from the room balcony of China Town and the River are amazing especially as the sun goes down and Bangkok lights up.
Once again the service was excellent and we will be coming back next trip.

The service was excellent. We had an issue with the AC in our room on the second day so they upgraded us to a balcony room. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked another stay there.

Very good hotel to go around Chinatown. Hotel inside is a bit dated but clean inside. Lovely and very helpful staff. The improvements need to go to the breakfast side. Close to street foods vendors. Very little choice with same options everyday.
Still highly recommended when visiting Bangkok.

Great hotel located towards the end of Chinatown. It’s is situated a 5 minute walk from the the busy street food markets and seven elevens and a 10 minute walk from the pier where you can catch the ferry’s that run up and down the river. The family room is slightly dated but amazingly spacious. The beds were really comfortable and offered a great nights sleep. The shower was a little worn and could do with modernising, but was adequate for the three nights we stayed here.
From Suvarnabhumi Airport we got a metered taxi which was about 350 baht and from the hotel to Don Mueang we used the grab app which cost is 650 baht.
There was complimentary water and drinks in the mini bar which was welcomed. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. There was one night were we were woken by loud music, presumably playing from the lobby (which is no mean feat given we were in the 16th floor).
The pool on the 23rd floor roof is tiny, but adequate for a quick dip, just don’t expect to be swimming any lengths in it. There are complimentary pool towels at the pool as well so no need to take your own.
Check in was easy, although you will have to leave a 1000 baht incidental deposit which has to be left in cash, although you get this back at check out. Check out is at noon which left us plenty of time after having a late night the day before.
