A nice hotel, looks a little aged but staff are friendly and helpful which adds to the experience. My only man was about the standard of the food. On my second night had a T-bone steak from the menu which I left most of as it was so tough. Mind you the previous nights curry want anything to write home about.

Weston was a perfect location for an early flight out of Wilson Airport. My wife and I were given an upgrade to a King bed. I was pleasantly surprised that they shuttled us to the airport without a fee. The food was sincerely fantastic. The only “complaint” I had was the air conditioning was not reliable. They front desk did supply us with a floor fan to help.

We stayed 2 nights in room A204 which overlooks an outdoor pool and bar/restaurant. Both nights we couldn’t sleep due to very noisy people outside and inside too. They made a racket until 3 am. The interior has mostly tile and hard surfaces so noise travels. Guest room doors slam shut with loud bangs. I complained to the management, but it had no effect. If you like to party until the wee hours, then this could be your place.

Previously stayed in hotels in Nairobi centre but changed this year to be close to Wilson Airport. Considering it's owned by the recently elected president I expected better. The pre arrival information and check in were excellent (thank you Esther) but despite booking two rooms, each for 3 people, we only had 5 beds and 5 towels! An extra bed was produced but as it was close to midnight, and after a 9hr flight, it was an unnecessary issue to deal with. When the room was serviced the next day it was cleaned and the beds made but nothing was replenished so we had to ask for tea, milk, water etc. The pool area was poor with one grubby plastic sunbed so we had to take chairs from the courtyard restaurant to sit on and needed to ask twice for towels. The food was good and the evening meal and drinks reasonably priced but because there is no lounge, and we couldn't take the grandchildren into the bar area, the only option was to sit at a restaurant table for pre-dinner drinks. Sadly, on both evenings there were very noisy events going on into the small hours which echoed around the hotel however complaining about the wedding did appear to have some effect. However - credit where due - the evening after we'd checked out my daughter realised she'd left an expensive cardigan behind which was found and returned to her the following weekend - in two other Nairobi hotels lost property mysteriously disappeared so for ths I am grateful (Esther again I believe!). Not sure I'd stay there again

The hotel is conveniently located within a short walking distance from Wilson airport. Langata Road is a significant source of noise and pollution, particularly during current major road constructions in Nairobi, but this has nothing to do with the property. The staff is friendly and helpful, the premises are nice and clean. Pricing is reasonable. Perhaps not the best choice for tourists (unless traveling to/from Wilson), but if you have business in this area, you will feel comfortable here.

The Weston hotel is across from the entrance to Wilson Nairobi airport. We stayed there because of an early flight to the Masai Mara. You can actually walk to it crossing a very busy road and going over the pedestrian bridge. We felt very secure inside the hotel. They have great security and staff. The hotel has a 24 hr restaurant and we had the pizza twice. We enjoyed it. The hotel has an elegant feel to it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Weston. We initially booked an Airbnb, but felt uncomfortable with the location. We found a last minute deal here and our stay was very pleasant. All staff was friendly and attentive. Check-in was smooth and fairly quick. I was given a choice of 3 twin beds, which we appreciated. There is a restaurant, bar, room service, complimentary water. The room was very clean as was the hotel as a whole. The shower was hot. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. There is a restaurant and convenient store across the street. The hotel is secure, we felt safe. Staff followed Covid protocol, with hand washing, temperature checks and hand sanitizer.

I booked a single room and in the process a friend came to visit me. The next thing I knew the management was on my case that I had to pay for the extra guest. The manager turned out to be a reasonable guy but I pointed out to him that as a globe trotter I have stayed in plenty of hotels the world over and there is no surcharge for inviting a friend for a brief visit. The hotel also employs a lot of unnecessary idlers But that is outside the scope of my review. The food at the restaurant was nothing worth talking about. This hotel clearly needs a major facelift or retraining in the personnel department.

We just needed a place close to Wilson airport to spend the night. The convenience to the airport is definitely notable. The entryway to the hotel looks amazing and grand, but we stayed in the older part of the hotel, I believe. It was considerably less grand. The room was a little stuffy and humid as the a/c only comes on once the key card is in the room. The light switches were too numerous and made it difficult to turn off all the lights. The room smelled smokey, but other than that seemed clean. The bathroom is newly remodeled. We were only in the hotel for about 5 hours given the way our flights worked. From what my sleep-deprived self could tell, it could still use some more updating on the inside, but the service was excellent. The front desk was very helpful, the shuttle to the airport was more punctual than we were, and the porter was above and beyond helpful. I would be willing to stay again given a guarantee of a non-smoke-smelling room.
