Loved my stay here. The front desk attendant was so helpful, he went above and beyond. I was also happy that they offered the shuttle service from the airport. The bed & pillows were comfortable and there was a nice pool too. Would stay again.

Wonderful historical building with glimpses of the grandeur of the past. The location is fantastic with beautiful views just outside, a safe area for walking and many options for food and drink. The staff is impeccable, nice breakfast included. An excellent place to stay. Luis at the front desk and really all staff were helpful and courteous. A true standout place for our stay.

Overall a nice property. I like that it's old and kind of quirky. One of the front desk staff was very friendly. The other guy a little more quite and annoyed when I asked about the pool. I liked sitting on the veranda outside of my room and having tea watching a storm roll by. The breakfast was very nice too.

The hotel is refurbished from an old colonial house and was very charming. The staff were incredibly helpful and it was an easy check in. It is a great location to stay in Iquitos and there is plenty of food and shops around walking distance. They only offer breakfast and no other meals or room service. If you enjoy history and want to stay in a nice quiet hotel this is the place.

The hotel was fine for our stay. There aren’t many nice hotels in Iquitos and this was one of the nicer hotels. The staff was friendly and accommodating . The building is old and could use updating.

Huge colonial style rooms with the highest ceilings I've ever experienced in a room. Air conditioned rooms in a humid environment was very welcome.

It is close to center of town. I am glad we went there because of the unique history of the hotel, how it's linked to the rubber industry (then we heard the nasty side of rubber industry story from our Amazon trekking native guide). Pool is super nice. Staff very helpful. Good breakfast.

Hotel Casa Morey is like stepping back in time! Large bedroom, sitting room and bathroom with beautiful tiled floors, 6 meter ceilings and period furniture. There’s also a sink, microwave and hotplate, with tea and fresh water provided.
The staff were very friendly and in a great position.
I would definitely recommend staying here.

Refreshing swimming pool.
Great breakfast.
Huge rooms with desks, in-room safe, and air conditioning.
Felt very safe. Neighborhood seems a little rough with surrounding bars. Muffled Live music on Saturday until 3am.
I would stay here again.

If you are into historic places like me, this is it- I was overwhelmed at the beauty of the preserved colonial style and was given a gorgeous room right next to the pool. The energy is real in this turn-of-the-20th-century place and I absolutely would stay again!

Good location on the river and 3 blocks from town square. Large room with river view. Laundry service was available, took a while, but glad to be able to clean our clothes from 3 nights in the jungle! Would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at Casa Morey a number of times. The pick-up service from the airport is very helpful.
The large rooms with very high ceilings are old-school charming.
Well located, and helpful staff.

Nice building. Needs some cleaning but it got the job done overall. We stayed overnight only before departing our Amazon journey.

It's a beautiful property with vaulted ceilings and grand fixtures and furnishings. You can feel the history & luxury of that time. The rooms are ludicrously large, which sometimes made us laugh at how we had to yell to speak across the room, but they were also beautiful and a treat to inhabit. We loved the french doors & view of the park & the Amazon. I'd say the floors could be a bit cleaner, but in general it was clean (I am picky on this point), and I imagine it's a huge job keeping it so!
I had mixed experiences with the staff helpfulness. Out of two trips we made, one time the desk staff arranged things with a taxi driver for us and the 2nd time she simply suggested we get a tuktuk and didn't seem inclined to help. We managed just fine, and it was an adventure we enjoyed, but when I booked I'd had the impression that the hotel was able to set things up for us so we could avoid being ripped off or sent to the wrong location (as some tourists are). On the plus side, there was a book of information in our rooms which was generally correct.
Overall, I'd likely return if traveling again to Iquitos.

We stayed at Casa Morey for a couple of days after a trip to the Amazon rainforest. The hotel is near the old port of Iquitos and has been restored and refurbished to appear like it once did during the economic boom in the area; it has a classical feel with high ceilings, airy rooms and stylish touches throughout the hotel. The room was large with a sitting area, bathroom and bedroom area complete with a safe, fridge, coffee and tea making facilities and plenty of space for clothes and luggage. The bed was comfortable and there was always hot water whilst we stayed there; the major downside was the smell coming from the bathroom which was probably due to the sewage system or toilet. The breakfast had plenty of variety and the staff at the front desk were very helpful for us for our early morning check out in booking a taxi and allowing us to have a quick meal before we left.

Old colonial style splendor with 5m room hight. Age shows but property and rooms are clean. Ask for room facing river, away from the street corner.

Excellent stay. It used to be the mansion of a rubber baron. The rooms are spacious and have air conditioning, the restaurant is good. there's a swimming pool and it so walkable. It's a great choice for before or after an Amazon lodge.

Great location nice restaurant easy walking ask for quiet side of building due to traffic noise fun reading about the history
