Property is run down and poorly maintained. Room smells like mildew.

The staff was amazing! Limited options for breakfast, the rooms/hallways could be updated. We were supposed to have a king bed, but if that was a king, it was the smallest king sized bed I’ve ever seen. Nice pool area, the kids definitely enjoyed it!

Quick stayover in Hattiesburg nice spacious room . Check in was seamless . Bed was comfortable no complaints here . Will be back again

Overall nice, the bathroom needs some tending too. The toilet ran a lot after flushing. The shower had some cracks. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was just okay nothing special and it was very crowded.

The elevator smelled bad and there was a wire sticking out of the side of the bed that my wife cut her leg on. Told two different staff members they both told me they were sorry. The first one gave me bandaids for my wife.

A touch hard to get to but very friendly staff. Clean and safe feeling.

The interior hallways, stairwells, and exterior reeked of marijuana. Clearly, there is no policy regarding the use of it. Much of the hallway carpeting was stained. My room was comfortable. Getting there was the challenge.

The visit was smooth and service was amazing. You can’t get much better than this! Both Tanya and Sandra made me feel so welcomed and provided the absolute best service! Thank you for making my stay so great!

The check in and check out staff was very sweet and courteous. The breakfast was definitely above what I typically see at a free breakfast hotel. The options were great and the gentleman working there was on top of things and very nice. Unfortunately, our room, especially the bathroom, smelled HORRIBLE from cigarette smoke…obviously, someone who stayed there before us broke the rules. I notified the staff at checkout and they were apologetic. The room was clean, but rundown…handle on bathroom cabinet hanging off, old carpeting, cracked tile in shower. However, it was clean and sufficient for one night’s stay. The elevator smelled awful…my husband said it was synthetic grease, but it smelled like something rotten. It was overall okay, but not worth the nearly $200 a night.

Terrible stay. When we arrived the lobby smelled of Marijuana as did the hallway to the rooms. Room was not as presented in photos. Bed was not comfortable. Sleeper sofa was soiled and not usable. Air-conditioner ran all night even with the thermostat turned off. One of the worst places i have stayed.

The property was extemely noisy in the lobby with a kids birthday party right inside the front door. There should be a seperate area for events like this

Check in was at 4pm. I got there at 9pm and my room still was not ready. They told me to come back in 30 minutes and my room should be ready. Unbelievable and horrible service. Hotel was very nice, but staff was not.

Our unit carpet was ragged. Bath maintenance was poorly done. Breakfast was substandard by Marriott standards.

Everything was great including their breakfast! Our room was not ready but that’s because they are tidy with their cleaning process! Omar was great with customers and how much he had to deal with!

For the age of the hotel it’s outdated. My room didn’t look any close like the pictures. Guess they use the same pictures for every room. I had king room. As much money you charge for the love of Jesus get a bigger tv. They are cheap now stop being cheap urself. I’m sure the other hotels that are under your brand in different states might be better but the one in Hattiesburg is okay. But most of the hotels in this area are over priced and ran down also time for an update for all hotels. The cleaning ladies on level 3 they are the Bomb. Give them ladies a raise the cost of living went up but not there pay they need a $6.50 more per hour raise. They do a lot for okay pay on your out dated pay scale from 1908. Stop being greedy. The front desk ladies I spoke to are great also pay raise for everyone. The young lady who is going for her engineering degree like I told you make your money girl. Update Hotel.

My room was flooded and smelled like urine.

The hotel cancelled my reservation without notice and claimed they were overbooked. They failed to notify or contact me before my travel date. I was forced to spend money at a different venue for an inferior room at lesser establishment.

Pillows on the couch were stained and disgusting. We threw them in the corner so no one would touch them. The toilet refilled very slowly. If someone went to the bathroom (#1), the next person would have to wait at least 10-15 minutes to flush again. Not great when we've been on the road for hours and everyone needed to go. Especially when we had to wait on a room bc it hadn't been cleaned when we arrived at around 4:30pm. Pictures online do not accurately show the rooms. Rooms are incredibly small. If we would have needed to be there more than 1 night, we would have checked out and left. However, the service at the front desk was amazing. A bright star in an otherwise dismal stay. If you need a room and you're by yourself, it may not be terrible (just don't touch the pillows on the couch!). If it's 2 or more people, I wouldn't recommend.

This was easily the WORST hotel/suite I've stayed at in a long time, and I've stayed at several TownePlace Suites in various locations across country because of their usual good quality. Not this one! The condition of the hotel is AWFUL, and is in bad need of maintenance and repairs, including damage to walls throughout the hotel, elevators, room doors, etc. Upon check-in/room assignment, I was in need of a luggage cart as I had a large amount of luggage. There were none available (out of 2), and the clerk had no idea where they were or how long they had been goen, so I asked for a ground floor room (none available). After lugging my stuff in multiple trips upstairs which took forever (1 elevator broken), I settled in and realized that the heater was not working; also noticed that the door bolt didn't work. I notified clerk and was reassigned a room two doors down. Heater worked but dead bolt didn't work there either! I settled in, after moving luggage; then started hearing loud commotion from out in hall. Went out to hall and heard banging/scratching and animal whimpering next door! IT went on for over a half hour, and I called clerk who said she was trying to track down the guest but wasn't having any luck. Noise eventually stopped but the next morning I noticed that there was all kinds of debris at the foot of the door. The dog really tore it up! This place had high reviews on hotels.com but I have no idea why! Don't stay here!!!

The area looks sketchy but the hotel and the surrounding area was just fine. Would definitely stay here again.

First Time Visiting and It was Awesome. The lobby area was clean and smelled great. The room was very cozy and comfortable. The only disadvantage, during the shower…the tub kept filling up..the water was draining slow. But overall, my stay was awesome and I will be back!

The only comment I have is that it would be nicer if the parking lot lines were repainted so people can park correctly and not take up two parking spots.

Front Desk Clerk at checkin, a ray of sunshine after a REALLY long day. Room was another story. Broken toilet seat, curtains coming off the windows, carpet (admittedly they had signs posted about pending replacement) was in terrible shape. Waffle maker broken, breakfast was a sad affair.

Room was filthy, found old socks and food on the floor. Toilet paper was like sandpaper, bath tub didn’t drain so showered in ankle deep water, kitchen sink was full of old smelly food and disposal didn’t help get rid of it. Staff was nice that’s about all. This hotel is not worthy of having the Marriott name.

The Room was very spacious, helped sooth my daughter's Anxiety Disorder!
