Incredible hotel in amazing location within the Unesco world heritage area with hundreds of painted houses - a living (free) modern art museum. Great food, and lovely living and pool area at hotel

Staff were great. Couldn’t do enough for us. Room and other facilities were clean and very comfortable. Location was a little odd, at the end of a skinny dead end road, but had some charm.

We had a lovely time at the hotel. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The service was excellent and the food was good. It was quiet because we went on weekdays after the summer vacation was over. So we had the jacuzzi and rooftop terrace to ourselves. The neighborhood was also excellent for exploring the street arts of Valparaiso. It was a memorable stay.

Wonderfully well restored and maintained older building with a great view over the historic center of Valparaíso. Great access to all the good restaurants and cafes on Cerro Allegre. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel well located. Restaurant was very good and staff could have not been more helpful. If you are driving be sure to ask hotel for directions as GPS takes you through a bad area .

The hotel has a cozy feeling, probably because it used to be a private residence. The different levels give it charm and character, and the views of the bay are impressive. The staff was relaxed and attentive. We preferred that Sunday brunch would end later; however, we were not rushed out when we stayed beyond the scheduled closing time. We look forward to our next stay.

This hotel is a small boutique hotel and is absolutely amazing! The rooms and view were beautiful! The location is great! The best part though was the kind and accommodating staff! My mom fell while we were walking in the city and fractured and sprained her foot. The staff was so kind and so helpful. They found a walker for her, helped pick-up and bring dinner for her, and were always helping with doors. I have traveled all over the world, and this was by far the BEST hotel experience I have ever had.

I did not want to leave! Casa Higueras is a stunningly beautiful hotel, but that is only the start of it. The staff is friendly and helpful (and speak excellent English which is helpful for me). The location is great because it is a short walk from everything while still feeling far away from the hustle of Valpariso.
