Staff were friendly and helpful. Requested a quiet room and that’s what we got. Room was clean and homey. Pillows could use a redo. Beds and bedding good. Liked having a fridge, microwave and table and chairs to prepare some light meals. The included breakfast was more than adequate. Choice to upgrade breakfast for a differential. We enjoyed our stay here!

Facility needs update. Very dated. Toilets are so low they are dangerous.

Staff were great! Restaurant had good food and nice servers but service was slow. Building needs upgrades. Hallway carpets were awful. Our room was very clean but the pillows were lumpy hard and too small. Heat wouldn’t turn off so loud AC ran constantly. Overall for the price you pay it was a good stay. Would recommend for the price and location.

Excellent stay. All the staff from front desk to restaurant to breakfast staff were amazing. So friendly and informative. Definitely would stay again. Only thing I would have to say is that the pillows could be a little better quality.

The room was well cleaned and cared for. Older facility. Building I was in had a funny smell, and I had to request a different room. Smelled slightly better but still not great. It was inconvenient that I was put in a second building on the property and had to go back and forth between the main lodge both for check in and dealing with the room change.

They were very accommodating when we needed to switch rooms for mobility reasons. I was very impressed by the staff and their cooperation and support of each other when I overheard they were short-staffed. One lady, even though her shift had ended, offered to stay late and help - great teamwork! Much impressed.

Check in took awhile due to staff shortage and volume, but front desk clerks very polite and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. The bed was very firm. The restaurant has many tables that are not in service for breakfast (staff shortage also?), so the line up for the complimentary breakfast is long and moves slowly. Also, apparently this is the only restaurant in Rocky that provides a sit down breakfast, so many others also come here. All in all a good stay, and I would recommend this hotel.

A positive experience at this hotel. Evening front staff were wonderful and cheerful. Pleasantly surprised with daily full breakfast included, fridge & microwave. Only negative is the smoke in hallways from smoking rooms when housekeepers were cleaning. Otherwise, didn’t smell it much.

The young receptionist was super helpful, the room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the hair dryer even functioned as a night light! One suggested improvement would be to upgrade to a less noisy one but we were thankful for ac as temperatures were above 30.

We love staying in Walking Eagle. We do it every summer, it is a business trip. The hotel looks great on outside, it has nice, spacious rooms. Great service! The breakfast included and it served in the restaurant, nice hot breakfast - eggs, sausage or bacon and amazing rye bread toasts.

Average hotel check-in was a bit painful. The front desk clerk was having a chat with somebody else in a little side store and didn’t see all that interested and checking me in right away. And the beds were really hard and the pillow sucked.
