The person checking us in made us feel like completely unwelcome jerks. The room was tiny, most of the TV channels were blocked, thee bathroom door squeaked, the beds were hard, the toilet paper roll was missing and the wifi didn't work. The bedsheets smelled like detergent in a bad way and the sheets were stained up. When we got as settled as we could we went outside to look around at the grassy courtyard in the back and the check in lady pounced on us out of nowhere and yelled to stay out of there "it's our property!". Ok, if you don't want people going there maybe put a sign? It's not like we happen a fence, there's a path leading back there. I was taken aback by her anger and said fine, I just need the wifi password. She practically screamed that it was on our receipt and stormed off. Through some trial and error I found it, it's the phone number for the motel, with no indication that it is a password. I'm so sorry this woman has to deal with guests while running a motel. Absolutely terrible. I might recommend this place to my enemies.

Shower inoperable. When i called front desk, was give lame excuse that water was off from town. I informed the clearly new employee that the sink and toilet water were working, but was told same story. I finally suggested they give me key for next room, where I showered and returned key.

Coach roach in the room when I checked in. Went to take a shower the handles were a nightmare, packed up my bag and left and went to stay somewhere else. It was difficult getting checked in and was not worth the hassle of trying to get my money back and explain everything that was wrong.

Wi fi was so slow I used my cell service - tv was stuck on a single channel “drape” over window looked like a brownish sheet. Bath towels were thin and sheets were a brown color (not dirty just the color).

Parking was in front of the room but the road noise was terrible. Also AC unit was not secured to the wall and had a gap for bugs to crawl in. Definitely received a few mosquito bites there.

This is an old property. It has had some improvements: new TV, new refrigerator (ice cold), microwave works, but you have to unplug the refrigerator to use it, or unplug the tv. Stains on the one bed comforter, stains on the lamp shades, holes in the walls stuffed with toilet paper????? The shower sprayer is newer, but the hot and cold spigot knobs are 1970-ish, and are partially stripped. The shower window won’t lock completely either. I will say, there were NO BUG, which is a big in my book. No bad if you need to crash for a night, but extended stays????

Very disappointing, did not feel safe, could not sleep based on having to constantly peek out at my vehicle to make sure that it was safe, broken mirror in the bathroom, very messy room, walls had dirty smudges all over it, bed had multiple stains, cheapest towels you can find, no special amenities whatsoever, Definitely not recommended.

Take my money and check me in, ok but gave me a key that did not work, I guess his mom was training him and showed him where the new updated keys were. Still could not get it. It took 10 mins Comforter had a burnt hole in it how about replacing it? Loose knobs in shower Close to my kid thats why I stay there.

It was a fairly comfortable oversight stay. Walls are paper thin, no toilet paper holder, and dingy sheets and towels. Very no frills, but that's all we needed...a place to sleep before driving again. Would stay again if we're back in Lake Wales.

Don’t judge this motel from outside looks. My room very nice with granite countertops and wide plank laminate flooring. Nice shower with window and all 2 of the soap/shampoo dispensers. This motel is very close to the Bok Towers Gardens. It proved to be quiet and I liked having my car at my door! Refrigerator and microwave. No ice. I was alone and felt safe. Stayed one night. Bed OK. Slept well Would come again.

I was there early and hotel put construction workers next to my room when they could have had separation. Would never stay there again. The paper thin walls was up until 2 am because of noise and up at 5 am because of noise. advise spent more money and get a good night sleep not worth the savings

At check-in, I was surprised to learn that a surcharge was added for using my credit card, so the cost was more than what was confirmed in my reservation. There was no toilet tissue in the bathroom, and there was no holder for the tissue (had been pulled out). The internet was so slow, I could not even open emails. The motel appears much older and less attractive than the photos, but the room had a better appearance. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV all worked well. All in all, it was an OK one-night stay for the money.

This is a quaint family owned property. It's not fancy but the rooms are extremely clean and well maintained. The internet is excellent and parking is right outside the door. A visit to the Bok Tower near there is a must see. The pricing is excellent and the family is very friendly. We forgot one of our cell phones in the room and they called us so fast we hadn't even left town. I would highly recommend this place.

Room was clean and comfortable Microwave and mini fridge helps. Shower very clean w/ lot of towels. May use new shade curtains in the room. They'll ask if u need some service(clean the room, more towels ,etc) Front desk very small but NICE couple. In general ; VERY GOOD. I'll come back.

Bad neighborhood nah a place I would ever stay again and it's not that it was bad the neighborhood was that they were trying but good luck stuff stolen out of the car or the truck terrible time
