A lovely historic home that has been renovated with its original charm in mind. Hosts Brenda and Robert were most welcoming and gave us lots of tips and recommendations for maximizing enjoyment of our stay in St. John’s. 👍👍

We stayed in two different rooms and a suite over four nights. All were beautiful with comfortable beds. The host was very friendly and provided great advice on things to do, directions, and best places to eat. The continental breakfast was fresh and had a great variety of food options.

Only issue is our room on the top floor was quite warm. The fan was too tall to draw the cool air from outside. But great place overall

We loved our stay at the Elizabeth Manor. Beautiful home and Rob is very friendly and gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit! Location is great, we walked everywhere! Had a wonderful stay and we hope to be back! Thank you!!

Good location

Fabulous patio and garden.

Beware this place charges you an extra 3% charge to pay with a credit card I was not told this, and it was not in the fine print when I booked. I also wasn't told this when my Credit card was charged. This place is honestly like going to a Michelin Star Restaurant and being served food you can get at your local diner. Don't get me wrong on 1st appearance this place seems amazing, but when you get to the finer points this place is rough around the edges. 1st they double booked us, so they out us in a different room than we originally booked, ok whatever but this is a constant problem from what I hear and happened to other people at the property during our 3 night stay as well. The bathroom was not cleaned properly upon check in and when I brought it up with the female owner she apologized and cleaned it and said it slipped her mind. After she left there still was hair in the tub/shower. Later on she gave me her number and said if you need anything text me, the following day I texted asking for more toilet paper as we ran out, to no reply and yes I verified it was her number. I finally took some from an upstairs bathroom. The mishmash of things around made it feel like there was no thought put into anything but just whatever was on hand to put somewhere, like the different lightbulbs in the bedside lights, the inside and outside shower curtain being completely different sizes and obviously from the dollar store. Finally the breakfast was subpar. The yard is beautiful.

This is a beautiful, comfortable home with easy access to all you might want to see in St.John's. The hosts are not on site, but are easily reached, responsive, and ready to go the extra mile to help guests enjoy their stay.

Very lovely property! Slept like a baby. Loved how walkable it was to everything in St John’s. Beautiful park near by, not to mention yummy gelato.

This is a perfect option for people without a vehicle. Our only concern was parking, but thats the nature of the city, especially downtown. If you plan on getting out and exploring the area on foot than this is the spot for you! One of the best mattresses i have ever used.

We stayed in two of the rooms over the course of the week. Each room was unique and charmingly decorated. There was attention to detail. The host, Robert was a friendly and very welcoming host!

We stayed here for the location. It is walkable to downtown and right by a large park. Driving in St. John's is not my favourite so walkable is a priority for me. The rooms were very comfortable. I stayed in several different rooms as I came and went from St. John's. The cold breakfast was great for a fast bite in the morning. If you want a hot breakfast there is a great coffee shop on the same block that has great options.

Property is very well cared for and hosts clearly care about the building and their guests. Minor point -- the room we stayed in did not have hooks for outerwear (coats). And there was only one tiny garbage bin in the washroom. Not a problem for single night stays, but we stayed three nights. Otherwise great.

The fact that the owners were right next door and visited with guests was a plus. It was a great place to meet other travelers and compare experiences, while also having a private suite to be just us.

Beautiful house, very friendly and helpful host, great breakfast and a nice terrace to eat it on, easy self check-in, very convenient location within walking distance of the town center. Our room was very hot at night, though and the fan was a bit too loud to run all night. Probably not a very common problem here, but if the summers keep being this warm, it may be worth investing in a quieter fan.

We stayed 3 nights and loved the house and location. Rob, our host was very friendly and extremely helpful. We stayed in the largest en-suite room on the main floor, which was very spacious, the beds we are comfortable, and had quality linens and toiletries. The only issues we had were with the tiny sink in the bathroom, which made it hard to use because the water splashed everywhere. Our room had a flat screen TV with cable, and great internet. There were 2 queen beds and a nice sofa bed. A couple of chairs in the room would’ve been nice. The room had a large window to the street, with nice thick curtains, which offered total privacy, and we could not hear the noise from the street. But there was also another large window to the back patio, which could probably use some thicker curtains for privacy. There’s a great patio/deck in the back, and an absolutely gorgeous large garden. There is a coin operated laundry room on the third floor, and a large fridge on the main floor for the use of the guests. There is also a comfortable sitting room on the main floor. Our breakfasts on the first and second morning were quite good with coffee, a large selection of teas, sliced bread, bagels, croissants, jam and margarine (butter would’ve been nicer). There was also a bowl of fresh fruit, milk, juices, and hot & cold cereals. On the 2nd day there were also boiled eggs. We would stay at Elizabeth Manor again and recommend it.

We loved the balcony (outdoor seating) and the garden was lovely. It was a hot night so the third floor was a bit warm, but they had a fan and with the windows open, it wasn’t too bad.

We enjoyed a lovely time in St. John's while staying at the Elizabeth Manor. The hosts were friendly and very informative proving us with plenty of information on what to see and where to eat during our stay. Highly recommended!

Great place and great host!

Room was lovely and bathroom was awesome.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Great location near the park and some fabulous coffee shops. Easily walkable to the city centre, lovely rooms, great decor clean and safe. There are a couple of communal areas where you will meet other travellers and a lovely deck with a garden where you can sit. The owners are amazing people....so helpful and friendly, they really do care about making their guests stay as good as it can be! I cannot recommend this place enough! Go there - and love it!

Ended up staying here for my extra night in St. John’s when my flight was canceled. It turned out to be one of the best accommodations I had on my Whole trip. Cosy, Quaint, and Felt like I was home. And the location is perfect. Close to the city but on a beautiful piece of property.

Amazing stay!

It was a beautiful area and close to downtown. Room was just basic with a very small bathroom but really all you needed. The only thing I found hard was all the stairs. It was on the third floor of a house and you had to walk up about 40 stairs. Not a problem at all if you don’t have bad knees.
