The hostel is child friendly and the staff are really helpful.

I was a bit apprehensive since I'm a solo female traveller staying in a hostel for the first time. I booked it out of necessity and ended up in a shared mixed dormitory. However, my experience at Omotenashi exceeded all expectations and put my fears at ease.
There were a lot of families with young children staying there and female receptionists who made me very comfortable. The people in my shared room were very respectful and I had some of the best sleep I had in days. The facilities were clean and the hot water was decent. Overall, I felt safe.
The front desk also held onto my suitcase while I went to explore Miyajima (I arrived very early in the morning). The hostel is close to Zigozen station, where you can catch the train to Miyajima ferry port. Very convenient location.

I loved how the staff took their time to explain in English. Everything was super clean and the showers were spacious and nice. The toilets were separated in a different area which I didn't mind at all. The neighborhood was quiet and very peaceful too!

Overall good. however, it is just too far from the Hiroshima center, keep that in mind.

Overall We were really happy with this hostel. It was a bit tricky to find . You need to take a local train from Hiroshima ( red Sanyo line to Hatsukaichi then walk down the road to the street car station and go to Jigozen (4 stops) if you want to use the JR pass . Jigozen is the name of the little town the hostel is in. We had amazing pizza at the local Italian. There are no lifts so be prepared to walk up stairs and bring slip in shoes. close to Miyajima island.

Staff's were extremely helpful, perfect location to hop on to Myajima Island.

The price is very low and the location is reasonably convenient. However there is weired smell in the room (perhaps the room is newly decorated?) and the wifi is not very responsive... Stayed in a youth hotel with similar price in Kyoto last year and that hotel feels better. Think there are still improvement to make.

Very friendly staff and close to the train station. The place was clean but basic and out of town. Though, you can rent a bike.

I had 9:10 AM early return flight from Hiroshima to Taiwan, so I chose this nearby seaside town to stay. Their loan bicycle was very convenient to tour around. Too bad the oyster season starts in December.
The staff are excellent and very helpful. It was rather complicated to take local train to Miyauchi, walked a few minutes to transfer on JR rail at Miyauchi-Kushido to Hiroshima, then catch the limousine bus to Hiroshima airport. Notwithstanding heavy rain two days ago, I made it in plenty time to fly home after finishing riding bicycles from Ikuchijima to Imabari on 6/18 and from Mukaishima to Ikuchijima bridge, turning back to return the nice and light belt driven bicycle at Mukaishima City Hall to get my deposit back by 7 PM. I am 75 years old, my wife thinks I am crazy to take on such an ordeal. But I have a lot of people to thank for, first of all my Mom gave me a healthy body and mind, besides other helping hands.

Stayed here cause it was cheap and could fit 4 people in the same room. The rooms do not have alot in them and are very basic so dont expect much in the aCtual room except wifi and a place to sleep. The staff was friendly, the lobby area is comftorable to relax in, and somelaundry and vending machines as well. The only thing odd was the wifi was not really good from our room on the 4th floor but on the first floor its fast. The shared shower area is kept clean and are individual private showers. The shared restrooms are decently kept too. Also, resteraunts and food places are about a 10 to 15 min walk away, and the tram station is a few mins away.
If you just need a place for a night or two and you not gonna stay at the hotel much then this is a good deal for you and your friends.

Amazing hostel! Clean, nice staff, and very big.
Even though, it's S hour away from city, it's really close to miyajima station.
Plus, they have free tour to rabbit island, yamaguchi 's famous bridge, etc.

place ok but this smell of dead fish in lounge was horrible. Very nice showers. Room ok for backpackers.
