We come to Palatka several times per year to ride the long bike trail and this is the best hotel in the area. Right by the St. John’s River and more to do here than close to the trail. The hotel is clean and all the staff was friendly. Thanks.

I traveled for a funeral. I had my kids and two small dogs with me. I was told after I went to dinner that the dogs were not allowed to stay in the room unattended even if they were in confined crates. It was a total inconvenience to have to take the dogs to other families residence in order to even go have dinner or go anywhere outside of the hotel. Had I known that I would have not spent the money for the hotel and just stayed with my family the entire time. There was a festival going on at the same time and the staff was very rude when my parking pass was misplaced while I was out at the springs and I asked for a replacement. I was treated like I was lying about the loss of the parking pass. I will not be back. I’ll find alternate places next time. It was clean and the beds were comfortable but environment was not very nice and they made my trip more stressful while I was there for a family funeral.

I have only one problem with not just Hampton Inn, but all motels and even hospitals. The toilets are too low for the older people, I'm 77 and when having breakfast was talking to another patron with the same complaint. At least put in grab bar of us. Usually I can pull up with the side of the sink or tub if it is there. The Hampton is always comfortable and the staff are amazing.

The staff here are very helpful. I would suggest avoiding the 4th floor if you stay at this Hampton Inn. The rooms on the second floor have been just fine.

I stayed at this hotel 2 times this month and both rooms had the scent of "dog" - I asked the front desk if they had rooms designated for pets. She replied no - all the rooms are allowed to have pets. This is unfortunate for those who of us who have allergies to pet dander. Also for people who have reactive airway disease -- scents can trigger respiratory distress reaction. I know many hotels have designated floors or rooms for pets and I get that. I was very disappointed to hear that this Hampton Inn in Palatka allows pets in ALL rooms. Disappointing! Otherwise the stay was good. This hotel is starting to show wear and tear but it's still the nicest hotel in Palatka.

I booked 2 rooms with Expedia. After checking out and looking at my Amex bill I noticed I was also charged by the hotel for the two rooms. I was double charged. They refunded one of the rooms still waiting on them to refund the other one..

Beautiful hotel in front of the water. Nice rooms, excellent bathroom, very clean. Breakfast was included; I need to eat gluten free and there were not carbs gluten free, it will be my only suggestion, to add gluten free muffins or similar upon request. Very recommended 👌

We are happy to have selected the Hampton Inn in Palatka. We booked 3 rooms for our family to go to the Palatka Craft Beer Festival, which was happening right next to the hotel. We were able to check-in early and not miss a minute of the festival. The staff were very pleasant and the hotel in very nice condition. We will book there again. BJ

This Hampton property was wonderful. Although, they could not take my AAA card for the discount because it was booked through a 3rd party. Next time I will book directly with the property. The staff were wonderful, accommodating, friendly, and went beyond duty to make sure our stay was great! The bathroom is equipped with all the soap, shampoo, condition, hand soap, and body lotion you need. They are health conscious products that are clean and natural. Love that! Will stay here again for sure. They have a nice full breakfast as well. The only thing I can say, is the toilet seat was loose. We only stayed one night and told the front desk. They sent someone to fix it right away. I do have maybe one complaint about the property, they only have two luggage carriers to bring the bags to and from the car to the room. So, when I went to check out, I had to wait 15 minutes to get a cart to load our “stuff”. Other than that a five star rating for sure! Love the Hampton.

This hotel is very nice. It is in a prime spot right on the St Johns river and if you get the water view WOW is all i can say. The beds are amazing and the pillows ( i wanted to take them home), breakfast was great and all the staff were so nice and so helpful.

Overall a good experience but they are still using Covid as an excuse for being cheap on things like coffee creamer and the complimentary chocolate chip cookies that they used to have. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
