Hotel charges you for parking just not ok almost 50 dollars per day .

It was just a couple blocks from the main tourist areas. Easy to stumble home to at the end of the night. The only issue was that the street was noisy but not much you can do about that in a place like NOLA. Hotel was clean and nice with a bar on the bottom and top floors.

Great place. Boutique hotel. Friendly staff.

Stay was good. Hotel was good. Only i will say is. I was supposed to charged 150 for incidentals. They ran my card for $200 and then couldn't find where the payment went. And had to still turn around and pay another $150 for the incidental.

It was good. There was noise from the elevator I guess. Overall satisfactory.

This was our 1st time in nola, while the outside is ok, the room we had a some issues. There was stains on the sofas and floor the hallway had a musty water smell. My husband noticed a few broken picture frames. The room was definitely spacious but could have been better. The only other issue we had was the server downstairs and at the lounge due to a couple of our family had there own bottles of alcohol we still patronize the bar but the server in the 17th floor area was rude and it wasnt necessary. We absolutely love michelle hope i spelled her name right, but she everything!!!!

i like the location and close to canal street.

Rooms are designed nicely, but much smaller than they appear in photos. Yet again, I don't understand why hotels have what amounts to mood lighting in bathrooms; it makes makeup a hit or miss process. Noise from the hallway was minimal, so we were able to sleep late, although there is construction across the street right now, but that is not the hotel's fault.
The hotel restaurant food was quite good, but be advised hours are limited.
As long as it isn't raining, you can walk to restaurants and activities. It's about a 2-block walk to Canal Street, and 5-6 blocks to Bourbon. Lots of restaurants in the area, as well as 2 Walgreens and a CVS.
I saved my review about the staff for last because they were the best; some of the nicest, most pleasant and helpful people I've encountered at ANY hotel. I would stay here again just because Miss Joy is there; she is a pleasure and a treasure!

Hotel smells like mold. Cleaning staff needs training on how to clean not just replace toilet paper and soap.
Do not walk around the neighborhood after dark. You will get mugged. They allowed a homeless person to sleep on a bench in front of the elevators one morning. That was frightening. Elevators were very VERY slow. I will not be returning, ever.

Stayed here for 2024 Mardi Gras. Great location, close to lots of restaurants and not too far from Bourbon street.

Upon arrival, the computers were all down. It was a good 45 minutes before given a room. I had booked a king double - they gave me a king single. After complaining, they changed me to a queen double. (No king doubles at this hotel, Expedia!) The floor was soaked next to the bed by the shower wall. The toilet was NASTY - when I turned my head upside down to dry my hair, I was shocked at how dirty it was under the rim. Limited dining is an understatement. And the menu listed things that weren't offered (i.e. a cup vs a bowl of gumbo - I wasn't told upon ordering, but was surprised to get a bowl... and then charged for a bowl. And, the new upstairs bar was LOUD and uncomfortable--not at all a relaxing space.

The property was just off the beaten path but within a 30 minute walk to the French Quarter, Bourbon Street and Canal Street. Great location, wonderful staff, nice rooftop bar.

This is my third time booking and staying with this property…However, this time I absolutely hated it. I loved this property at first but I can honestly say this will be my last time booking for a while now. I booked a king size room city view. Couldn’t cancel the room ever due to not being able to reach anyone to cancel. Arrived at the hotel after I paid, the receptionist told me that my king room wouldn’t be available for my stay and that I’d have to take 2 queens (after I paid and all, no alert/email prior to arrival). So I settled for the queens, annoyed but I settled all to get in the Queen room and it’s filthy. Carpet all stained up, bathroom floor dirty, the whole floor were stinking when we got of the elevator, bathroom tissue holder was broken and holding on by a thread, and counter top was crack and split. The next morning we went the front desks to make them aware and the guy on the shift apologized and gave us a free night and offered to move us to BETTER after he checked the room out (his exact words)…We left for the day and came back to move into our new room. Got into the new room and there are stains everywhere, blood stains on lamp cover, mold in the sink, makeup sweared in sink, cold shower, room service agreed to bring ice to the room for me when called and I waited three hour and still no ice. Valet said our car was ready in 10-15 mins but really meant 30-1hour. All around a horrible experience.

Every beautiful hotel, straight shot from canal street where they do a lot of parades for Mardi gras. Overall very clean hotel and nice staff and away from crowds

Spent three nights here on a recent trip to New Orleans for a wedding. The hotel is very dated and dingy and overall not worth the price that we paid. Being from New Orleans, we were aware of the location and all that means in terms of access to the French Quarter and other items of interest, but I was honestly surprised by how low quality the overall facility was. Just wasn't what you'd expect at all from a Hilton property.

Check in was fast. The restaurant had excellent food, although the service was slow, it was still good.
I only had partial housekeeping one day, and it was fair. The rooms are thin walled and I could hear the conversation of my neighbors.
The roof top bar was cozy, limited wine menu though. The biggest complaint my group had, was the 15/10 on the loud VOLUME of the crappy vulgar music. It was painful to our ears, emotionally and physically. I would not stay here again.

Last night of stay no hot water to shower in entire hotel. Staff said it was crediting me for anight stay

Where to start…room was ready early which was great. Check in went smooth. Went to take the elevator to the 16th floor an only one elevator works for the whole building. Finally made to our floor and exit the elevator to walk into a wall of sewer gas. There was sewer water leaking from the ceiling in the hallway on to the carpet. They did finally put a bucket to catch the leak. Got into the and noticed black mold growing in the shower on the ceiling. It looked they had tried to paint over it a couple of times. It didn’t work. About 4am Saturday morning they decided to run a drain cleaner from the floor above us. The drain pipe runs in the wall next to the bed. Not how I wanted to wake up. Last but not least, Sunday morning woke up to NO hot water. Come to find out that the hot water went out for the entire building about 12 hours earlier on Saturday night. Talked to the clerk at the front desk about it. No one cared. Didn’t even get a “sorry”. I’ll be seeking some kind of refund.

Overall the room itself was good. Desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Wait staff at restaurant and bar was ok. Construction work was going on next door which began at 5 am so deprived of sleep. Could have been forewarned at time of check in

From the moment we arrived, the people at the troubadour impressed us. Our valet, Jada, and front desk guy, Nathaniel (i think) #55, were kind and very helpful and conscientious of our needs. And Patrick at the restaurant, the listening room, made our evening special. The room was clean and comfortable and quite stylish too! The bathroom and shower was absolutely beautiful - i wish we could've stayed another day or two!

Nothing Luxury about the Troubadour unless you consider Power outlets that don't work, show heads with no pressure from leak, cold shower options only, in room thermostat controls that don't work set 68 reached 75....bathroom vent fans are for aesthetic only....if you book via third parts Expedia they won't work with you for coordinated refunds they'll throw a few points towards your Hilton Honors. We had to spend time on our vacation to move rooms only to experience other issues with the in room "safe" prelocked from previous guests with no available override key....and no Hot Water at 6am-11am....its no coincidence I met two couples in hotel elevator checking out in frustration....traveler beware. First time in New Orleans and this was the only thing of concern. Day manger will say there isn't a way to issue refunds but when coordinated with Expedia she denied the availability of refund. A Will vs a way.

Only 1 of 3 elevators were working and no hot water - the front desk was very accommodating Hilton needs to do better

our room was located on the 16th floor. Only 1 of 3 elevators were working so it was a hassle getting too and from your room. The hot water didnt work the entire time we were there. Cold showers the night we arrived and that morning before we left. The tv remote didnt work. Front desk never answered after trying a dozen times. The location of our room was very close to the rooftop bar and we had to listen to bass from music well past midnight so we didnt get much sleep.

at check-in the employee was trying to Cough up phlegm multiple times with his McDonald's dinner on the desk. The room carpet was dirty dingy and felt gross. The furniture was all scrapped up, super bad.

the staff was amazing, however i think the room has some maintenance issues. the bedside lamp was broken & the plug ins were very loose. it caused my phone not to charge. everything else was fantastic tho. we really enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Although the bldg/rooms are old but cleanliness is maintained. Courteous & friendly front desk staff. I was looking for chair to sit down but it's missing. The tv remote was failing and USB ports next to bed not working. Other than these, it was a pleasant stay for my family. I can recommend.

After reading a comment from management in the reviews that the elevator issues were “permanently fixed”, I booked again at The Troubadour. By day two of our stay, the hotel was down to 1/3 elevators operational. Additionally, it’s frustrating to have long waits to get to your room from all of the non-guests trying to access the rooftop bar.
The bar is loud and can be heard clearly on the higher up floors.
Valets were incredibly kind, but in limited supply. Wait times were long to retrieve our vehicle. Ultimately, I had to hand my keys to the front desk because there was no attendant. Also, no bellhop to help with luggage or even hold the door for me while I struggled to maneuver a rolling cart inside for my belongings.
The lobby smelled like sewage for the last day and a half of our stay.
Toiletry bottles that were supposed to be mounted to the wall of the shower had been ripped off the wall. The body wash was empty and wasn’t refilled even when the room was cleaned.
Speaking of which, there was no door hanger provided to mark that you were declining housekeeping or would like to sleep in. After our first two days, we assumed that they were doing the “eco thing” and only cleaning and changing sheets/bringing towels on request. To our surprise, they came in and cleaned on our third day. I felt a little violated and would’ve tucked away personal items or secured them differently had we known they would come in without providing us a way to decline the service.
